When a female is in heat the male will stay next to her until he gets what he want . Doesnt anyone know that ? A male wont care if the female is dead or even a stuffed animal . When he is pawing and digging at her he is trying to get her to stand up so he can mount . Males do that when a female is in heat and sits or lays down . And he is humping her at 1:30 .

If the dog that was killed was in heat, the dog that was with it would be licking the dog's back end, not laying by the dog. This dog clearly knew something was very wrong with his friend and he wanted his friend to wake up.
