  • Lions and Tigers and Bears, oh my! :o

  • @pandemicpwnsn00bs belief does not ONLY rely on evidence and proof; instead, its based on a harmonious intertwining of sensations rationality & instinct. the terms U use are no more than explanatory tools that, standalone, have no logical meaning. Moreover, if U only assume the existence of materialistic things than you are forced to abide by such narrow/shallow grounds...

  • why so many pics of lions and molecular diagrams?

  • kawai

  • At one point you have to stop believing your own nonsense and accept the world outside yourself as reality. You cannot get by in life basing your actions and beliefs on tripped out observations and pseudo-science. It gets tiring seeing the same arguments being put forth on every Shpongle song. Just because you took some Shrooms and watch the history channel does not mean you unlocked the secrets of the universe. Seriously, chemicals do not have mythical powers. It gets annoying to read.

  • @thcdreams654

You know what else is annoying? people who tell others that their beliefs are nonsense when they themselves have beliefs. I understand what you are saying but there are better ways to say it.

    i

"Why do you look at the splinter that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?"

  • @thcdreams654

    you ever trip dmt?

  • @thcdreams654 well i would say that those revelations are the secrets of their universes, because they know in the feeling that comes with the truth. whether popular science agrees or not, the truest things come directly from the soul

  • @thcdreams654 Agree: so beautiful, yet so depressing.

  • @openthedoar If you sum all the energy in the universe, will you get a positive number? How does that correspond to the law of conservation of energy?

I do not know about what will happen to that song after the death of Simon and Raja. What i know is that it is a great song and I can experience it here and now.

And that is what i am doing ;]

  • @APEXofTRUTH perhaps we, beings that exist on only a few dimensions that make up the whole of reality, only conceptualize what we can comprehend. like trying to imagine a sphere in 2 dimensions when all you can see is length and height, you only see a 2-D circle that changes as it moves through your plane of sight. maybe everything you see isnt reality, but only a part of reality. mass, and matter, and energy are just 2-D objects moving through multiple dimensions we cannot even touch.

  • top :)

  • When we die, we don't "last" anymore, but when don't magically disappear. The matter which comprised our body is not lost.

  • Conservation of Mass/Energy

Nothing is created or destroyed, but changes form.

  • describe in such a short amount of space just how deep this song and album is.

At least, this is what I get from it.

  • I feel as if everyone is interpreting this song wrong. It's stating that everything is constantly changing, and we worry too much about us. We (humans collectively) seem to feel we're the ultimate center of everything, but in reality, we'll all just end up dying, being eaten by bacteria, then becoming part of a plant, then become part of another animal, or a tree, then perhaps become part of another human again.

In the end, everything is one; nothing is lost, just changing. It's hard to

  • Nothing lasts, not even the time period in which one could truthfully state that "nothing lasts".

  • The meaning of life: life never ends. get shpongled forever. in a millenia i will listen to this song and a millenia after i will be the song. THEN...well you understand. shpongle

  • stood up for 4 days on a mdma and mephedrone binge, on the fourth night dillusion and paranioa set in as i was the last one awake. i tried to relax my self by surfing through shpongle songs, and i found this. blew my mind in a way of a quarter ounce of mushrooms.

  • Oh man, I should totally read up on William Blake. Thnx for the upload.

  • 2:54 verry trippy

  • Great Video!

  • this song summed up in 3 words

    mushrooms - acid - love

  • Now i understand the title... Nothing lasts.Only 4:30.How many of you when you're total ''lost'' hearing this mind jewel, when ends, you feel like an eternity passed over. And after that,a thought with the speed of light arrives.''Nothing lasts''.Not even eternity... But nothing is lost!! You can hear it again... ;-)

  • I have to disagree on one matter though...eternity/immortality/infinity cannot "last" as u mentioned, else they'de become "mortality/finity/etc....

How does something with no beginning and no end ever ends...? its rather perplexing when dimension-related arguments arise, however I believe its more "sound" to say: "Most Things Do Not Last, But Nothing is Lost"...

  • Your soul Which is a Vibration of energy at its purest level Is Eternal, as with all living organism in this planet, even single cell organism are part of a higher Consciousness, which constantly creates and manifest its self in physical forms. So in a sense no physical forms last, this material reality of organized matter will not last. But nothing is ever lost due to a Unifying Consciousness which holds the cycle of life and death in place.

  • @APEXofTRUTH I don't even think we can even suppose THAT about eternity.

  • @Consciousish, No I suppose Nothing Lasts for "material" things only...other things last forever and are engraved on the signs of eternity

  • @APEXofTRUTH I like to think there is no beginning or end. I believe that time has a center, just like the universe. Eventually the universe will pull back into its omega point, but it will expand again. It's all controlled by the hive mind. The universe will refresh itself, but the intelligence behind the creation will remain the same.

  • @APEXofTRUTH To me i think its a very paradoxal type statement, because yes it is true nothing lasts..not even eternity in a sense, because in reality an eternity is the divie starting and stopping of time, Meaning it begins and ends all at once. idk haha thats just my thought you know

  • @APEXofTRUTH Is there any eternity/immortality/infinity in real world? or are they only concepts?

How is that possible that nothing lasts? I think that you will know after your death.

  • @wytwKaku there's no experiment to prove them, but when we talk about dimensions (esp. Time) you can conclude that surely there are eternal things do exist...and yes the "Hereafter" can be the answer to all that so u either believe in it or u don't since no one came back from death and talked of his/her experience...

  • @APEXofTRUTH well, i was not talking about the after death experiences (rather something like an opposite).

Whenever you conclude anything about the world, you get an image of the world that is not the world itself (only an estimate of the world). That holds for each theory that exists (they produce models of the world and nothing else). If you want to get a clear image, the only thing you can do is to observe.

How is that possible that nothing lasts? I think you knew before you were born.

  • @wytwKaku Well, any living organism will die, it's a universal fact. But the law of conservation of energy states that the energy we possess cannot be created or destroyed, and can only be transferred. For exampe, this song inspires us. After Simon and Raja are dead, this song will still be around, giving off their energy, and inspiring us to create songs that do the same for other generations to come.

  • @8cthulhu8 Things die but matter and energy stay. Its the law of the universe. Nothing lasts, but nothing is lost, everything becomes something else. This is applicable to everything physical and many things not. A star explodes, and a new one forms from its ashes. Light from a star breathes life into a plant, the plant dies, but new life arises from its remains. Everything is a cycle. (This is said in science and eastern religions)

  • "sabido104": thnx for yr shponged thoughts...do I know u from somewhere?

  • oh my god, oh my god just Unbelievable that song give me the chills takes me somewhere else!! apex of truth collaboration with shpongle on that one was amazing, raja ram is in this one as well, apex of truth had an oath to stay in the shadows but it's a shame for such talents to be hidden, stay on top but remain from the underground freaky one
