Hello Aunty, I have a uestion to ask that is When ever I make poha, after washing it get sticky. I saw ur poha each & every piece of poha was non-sticky . Can u please tell me what should I do to make poha non - sticky & good & How should I wash it ? Whenever I got o sabzu mandi (USA), number of times I bougt the poha but after wash it get sticky . Please tell me how should I wash the poha so that every piece dont get stick with each other?

@1foodoflove You may be able to grow many of them especially if you live in a warm climate , I live in the UK even so I enjoy growing herbs in the summer I find the flavor of home grown herbs to be very good , You may find some spices in Chinese supermarkets anyway you'll soon find what you need maybe even over the internet Try to use whole spices and grind as required LOVE

Hi I am from Nepal. After watching your video, I tried it myself. Though I didn't have some of the ingredients you mentioned, it was amazingly tasty. Thank you so much Manjula Didi.
I just made some roasted potatos and all told, it took me close to an hour after boiling it and then roasting it. This recipe should cut the prep time by half and results are a little more greasier but probably tastier to boot. I just bought a big 10kg bag of white potatos and need all the recipes I can get or they will get old and grow roots.
I made these after watching your video. I served them with salad for the parents in law and they went down really well. Just wanted to say thank you for helping me impress them x

@kungfuplayer1 it is fennel seeds known in Hindi/Urdu as sonf. search fennel seeds on wikipedia to find out images of it ... it looks like greener thicker cumin seeds and has slightly sweet taste ... most grocery stores have it in spice section

I guess the trick to frying potatoes is boiling them first. I've been trying to make simple hame-made fries but they always come out soggy and not at all worth eating.

Use Atta flour (sometimes called chapatti flour) for parathas, or you could use a fine ground whole-wheat flour.
For Naan use Maida flour (which can be called "plain flour" or "all-purpose flour" in other parts of the world). There is no flour in this recipe (Spicy Potatoes).

fennel seeds are sorf looks similar to cumin and feenugreek are meethi (they are yellow quite bitter if u bite on them)

Im confused now ,,You say in your ingredients this : 1 teaspoon crushed funned seed
8 to 10 fenugreek seeds...
What is FUNNED SEED ?
and fenugreek ??

Fennel seed in hindi is sonf ... i just read this , you before response a question , Fennel (sonf) is anise i think or Similar Anise...? :)

Thank you for your prompt response. I learnt that when you boil cut-potatoes and throw away the water, the nutrients in potato also go away with water.
