The guy that plays the spaceman is amazing! He's one of those people who makes acting look so easy. It's like he's not acting at all. You forget that you're watching a movie. The scene where he is shot in the shoulder and he scratches it like it itches -- you can't teach that in acting school! It's a gift!! Is he available for really young kids parties?!? Is the robot included?!? I couldn't tell it apart from the original! On second thought, it might be too scary for 18 month olds.

I don't know what's worse, the acting (kids laughing out of character, rushing thru their lines) or the lack of editing and redoing. The effects are good. Poor Gort! Well this is so bad it's actually good! Kinda like Guillermo in "Jimmy Kimmel". At any rate this is a lot better than the 2008 Keanu remake. So yeah do more movies, for the lolz!! I saw TDTESS in 1960. I was 8 at the time. It is my all time favorite movie even to this day. I liked your interpretation of it and your Gort was spot on!! Yes, I fear that the only thing that may save the remake with Keanu Reeves is that it will not be directed by Tim Burton. Everything the man has touched in the last 10 yrs has turned to shit. He is incredibly untalented or just dried up. I'm not sure about the current director of the remake. All we can do is cross our fingers and pray. I wish that I had been chosen as the artistic director because my Idea for the design of the ship is unlike anything being done in sci fi today.
