  • I love the attitude you presented in this video, in a "put up or shut up" kind of way!

    I respect that greatly!

"So few" with real "balls" remain in today's society, it's all just talk talk talk, yak yak yak and all with nothing to prove! Everyone seems to delight in telling everyone else how their going to kick ass, but "NONE" ever seem to step up to prove the deed!

    Why is that?

Because "pussy" is a disease too, in more ways then one!

    Excellent video as always

  • Thanks. By now the Mylow saga has played out; as you are no doubt aware he was caught blatantly cheating, and I was the first to show an exact replication of his drive system, which I submitted to Sterling Allan of PESWiki fame, who had offered a prize for the first replication. While he acknowledged my replication he refused to give me the prize. For some reason, although the prize terms were clearly stated, it turned out that Sterling wanted a perpetual motion machine, not a Mylow motor.

  • YeP! It was all fake!

  • Hi Tinsel,

As I am just a young pup and a lover not a fighter, I won't get into any debate until such time I have blown my money building a replication ;-) HOWEVER, youre Desrtphile comment is hilarious and that really did make me laugh :-) Keep a little faith tucked aside for me. If my replication deosn't work, I'll give it back to you... respect EOM

  • That's definitely the nicest thing I've heard all day. I've read your work on that other webforum and while I disagree on certain points I believe that you are likely to be mostly correct. But the most important thing is your attitude and general approach. You, my dear, have Got what it Takes.

And I'm quite sure you'll be able to add to our knowledge with your apparatus.

I caution you though: It's no joke that these things are hypnotic.

I'm glad you appreciate my wit. Now, the music...

  • Hey Tinsel, don't you think it's time getting honest and give your money to Mylow?

  • Hey SiemenW (oh, get thee behind me satan...)

Has Mylow complied with the condition of the challenge, and I missed it? Could you please give me the link to the video of the two scientists from U of C saying they confirm Mylow has what he says he has? Because I can't seem to find it.

    Thanks in advance--

    --TK

  • There is a video of toukoqouko which shows that Mylow is cheating. Clear enough imo

  • I agree.

There is still a sliver of doubt. I'd like to have the data that generated touko's graph and run it through some algorithms I know about, that might reveal the windowed-average stairstep acceleration curve that would show beyond all doubt that the magnets are acting as drag, not thrust.

But eyeballing, it does look pretty damning indeed.

  • Good offer.its obvious hes a cheating cry baby.

  • Mylow doesn't do ANYTHING to proof his motor is working. He removed my comment too. I have asked him to show his motor on CNN or whatever TV channel or to scientists who can research it.

  • That's right. He's definitely playing to a certain limited audience. He knows he won't be able to sustain the show if he goes on the media, beyond this little internet community. He doesn't have nearly the chutzpah of a Magnacoaster, for example, or a Dennis Lee. He's more like a poor man's Joe Newman, without the gold chains--but not nearly as photogenic.

  • Wow good offer!

I also don't understand why he has not been visited or invited by CNN or whatever yet

  • Or visited by Mossad or the Arabs, who would just take the thing and you wouldn't be bothered by Mylow any more.

The continuing conspicuous absence of the REAL men in black is Yet Another bit of Evidence that Mylow isn't what he claims (and doesn't have what he claims.)

  • cool ! he block me too !

  • That's because he is "allergic" to Science and Scientists.

It's considered an honor, around here, to be blocked by Mylow. Now if you can get blocked by Desertphile too, you know you're getting your point across, somewhere.

    Respect!!

  • If you have the right to have your video up on your channel doesnt Mylow have the right to have his? Doesnt matter WHAT you think about it.

  • What the heck are you talking about? Sure, Mylow has the right to post videos. Did I say he didn't? What he does NOT have the "right" to do is to lie about his motor, the NSA, the magnets, the "last" video over and over, and so forth.

I've looked at your videos, you do good work. Just a little refinement and thinking about the scientific method, and control experiments, and you'll go far. But don't be seduced by the Dark Side of the Force, Luke Skywalker...er, I mean, keep up the good work.

  • Wouldn't you like to address some of the substantive points I've made?

    1) too many configs that work. He's just too (lucky, skillful, intuitive) pick one.

    2) the rotor must be restrained from moving at inconvenient times in several videos

    3) refusing to take my money that I'm trying to throw at him looks pretty bad unless you are really really good at rationalization

    4) make up your own fourth thing

    5) the acceleration profile as analyzed in LightRider's graphs is all wrong

    And so forth.

  • You need to try building exactly what he has claimed to work with exactly the same parts which is now possible because he has reconstructed the device with easily accessible parts with measurements and information and were to find them. Remember there was once a time that only an uneducated idiot would think the earth round.

  • Your last statement shows that you aren't quite as educated as you might like to believe. The most ignorant primitive could tell you that the earth was and is round, since even before there was written language. Only in the Dark Ages, when the Christian Church dominated education, did educated people assert that the earth is flat. But any sailor or astrologer could have told them differently.

You need to start thinking critically about how Mylow is so lucky--11 different configs that work, now?

  • Well, he has gotten ELEVEN different configurations to work. Stator magnets: 3 different types of horseshoes, paired and not; motor arc magnets, ditto...Rotor magnets: long ones, skinny ones, short ones, fat ones, horseshoes up down and sideways, a thin disk a thick disk a tall mount a short mount fixed stator mount adjustable stator mount free stator mount...you name it, they all work.

Only an uneducated idiot would believe that he has done what others can't, with all those magnets. No offense.

  • Looks like you will be oweing mylow his money

  • I doubt it. But I've got it right here, and as soon as he has two scientists or engineers from U of Chicago vet the device and state on camera that it is as Mylow has represented, off it goes to Mylow or whomever he designates.

But it ain't gonna happen. The fake is becoming more and more obvious with every video. Look how Tony restrains it at the end, and look how it accelerates when he lets it go. 39 seconds (not 4 or 5 minutes) to reach equilibrium speed. It's clearly motor driven.

  • That's a fair challenge. Will you replicate his machine while Mylow considers this offer?

  • He did the glass table video, which was pretty convincing. A few others have working replicas too.

  • Link?

  • 2sCeQ8bwmcE

    is one.

Just youtube search: mylow glass table

  • I could swear you said "others" have working replicas. If so, I'd like to see what they have.

    Link please?

  • Yeh, I especially liked the end, where he obviously has to keep the wheel from rotating, even after he's stopped it and removed the stator mount. That convinced me, all right.

  • Well if it's a field driven fake then his stator should probably try to rotate with the disc.

I've watched that video twice and nothing seems out of the ordinary to me...

  • Ask yourself this....where are the MIB now? Maybe they didnt realise he had changed his YT name, even tho he makes no secret of the fact he is Mylow...but they must be so dumb they never noticed that - or THEY DIDNT EXIST IN THE FIRST PLACE......hmmm, weird theory eh?

  • What do we do? First everyone jumps on that guy Alsetalokin for showing a device with an interesting trait, then they flock to mylow's defence because Stirling Allen says he is genuine? Weird. Especially when he was "warned" by his lawyer and a MIB not to do any of this stuff again...but here he is, doing the same stuff, with the same bits, in the same shape.....

  • To all the detractors - TK is at least doing these tests himself and has the scientific expertise (if you have watched ALL of his videos) to test something properly and is no beginner in this field. If someone with a solid engineering approach cannot replicate something as simple as a magnetic interaction between off the shelf magnets and standard materials, then it doesnt work. But Mylows latest video does indeed seem to work....a quandry.

  • Seriously, did you watch them ALL?

    "You're braver than I thought."

(From the first Star Wars movie, Princess Leah to Han Solo, on first seeing the Millennium Falcon)

  • The problem with each video individually including the "glass table" video is there is always at least one way it COULD be faked. Sometimes more

Video alone is never going to prove it without major changes

Example: today I pulled a powerful 1/4"x3/4" motor from personal computer CPU cooling assembly. Both it AND batteries to power it can be 100% hidden in a hollowed-out section of the turntable...never-mind hidden inside that huge pedestal

    The issue isn't trust...it's verifiability

    (cont'd)

  • In several of the videos Mylow goes out of his way to tell us there are no batteries, no motors, etc

That doesn't prove they aren't there

Magicians create seemingly unbelievable illusions all the time. To do so they use mis-direction, technology, and deceit

I'm NOT saying that's what's going on hereI AM saying that it's possible, and the videos so far dont' provide the means to PROVE or DISPROVE Mylow's claims

But the burden of proof, in all aspects, is 100% on him.

  • I believe a request to bring in observers from a respected university (with unfettered access to the invention) is a valid request

Under current US Patent Law Mylow has 1 yr from first day of public disclosure to file a patent. Some international patents are lost with any public disclosure

As an inventor and scientist I believe skepticism is healthy. It keeps us honest and on our toes. it helps us refrain from taking short-cuts and faking data. It makes our achievements that much greater

  • The patents ran out 30 years ago.

  • If he's got some unique design elements that actually makes the motor work in a new or improved way, then he's able to file for new patent(s).

New patents can build on older patents.

  • Comment removed

  • To be accurate I should say people can file patents anytime for anything...as long as the submission requirements are met and the filing fees are paid.

Whether they'll be issued is another thing entirely.

But, one can definitely be issued new patent(s) that build on prior patents as long as certain criteria are met.

(earlier reply removed to allow clarification)

  • I suppose anything is possible, but Mylow doesn't seem remotely interested in trying to capitalize on anything related to HJ's work.

  • No, not everything is possible. But--

It is possible that Mylow enjoys living in his nice middleclass apartment under the El in Chicago, and enjoys driving that truck around in city traffic, so much that, like many lottery winners, he won't quit or move, and doesn't care that he's got the most valuable item that could possibly sit on a table top, right there sitting on his tabletop.

    Possible perhaps, but not likely.

There are certain other possibilities that are much more likely.

  • Mylow hasn't made a single overture for money, visited HJ.s grave, and cried. Perhaps he is what he appears to be. I suspect Sterling Allen pressuring him for 30% of potential profits has played a role in his behavior.

  • So I've read, but that's the only reason I could see that someone would be unwilling to have his invention assessed by scientists from a respected university. So, just thought I'd mention what the USPTO allows in case that was a "sticking point".

"...Mylow doesn't seem remotely interested in trying to capitalize on anything related to HJ's work."--Asymmatrix

  • Mylow really doesn't see it as 'his' invention. If he did, he would have been at the patent office long before he posted video on youtube.

  • Thank you for your comments. It's refreshing to encounter someone who seeks logical explanations for what they are being shown, instead of trying to re-invent hundreds of years of physics to explain something that looks impossible.

There is certainly plenty of room in the base stub axle thingie for drive components and power supply, Plenty of opportunity to switch it for an inert piece in the Glass Table vid. Plenty of evidence that the rotor wants to keep turning even when it shouldn't.

  • Hey TK!

I like the challenge you have set, but it may not have the desired effect due to lack of motivational power, not a slur on you or the offer but money isnt what it once was eh :)

  • He better hurry: the exchange rate was about 76 cents US to the loonie, and this morning it was more like 87 cents. So the longer he waits the less it hurts me, at least until the US dollar stops free-falling.

    Eh, y'all.

(I'm from Texas, don't ask wtf I'm doing up here.)

  • hey buddie? you seen the new mylow videos? looks like you will be owning mylow some Candian DOH! lol.... Hoorah for Mylow long live free Energy

  • My money's safe, don't you worry about it. Why didn't he show it to PMMTester, huh?

    lol, buddie.

  • This is funny. Just because this chap has failed like many others. He thinks the other guy Mylow's is fake.. hahaha.

  • Your conclusion is correct but your premise is wrong. I don't think Mylow is a fake because I have failed. I think Mylow is a fake because the evidence, taken as a whole, supports this view. His story is inconsistent on a number of grounds, and I have a lot of instrumental data that show that a device constructed as he claims CANNOT behave as his does.

Plus, my Mylow wheel talks. So there.

  • I dont drink much anymore. A beer is ok here n there. It just doesnt do it for me anymore. Fizzy is alright. Not many in the group, but apparently a good amount of viewers. We dont argue much.

It would kinda suck if the replicator is who I think it is. I really believed in that thing. Infigureable it was.

In Mylows case, the last couple vids are something he should have done in the begining, we would be a couple steps further by now. He's getting closer to dat wast step.

    Magluvin

  • OK, here we go again. It appears, while he may not have blocked me completely, "wattsup" has removed some of my comments from the OU thread. OK, if that's how you want to be, fine. I won't be sharing any of my results with you OU folks any more, so you can just go ahead and do your own "research". Fine, that's as you wish; but my ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS cash is still waiting for Mylow to get outside validation from 2 U of C scientists or engineers, and your censorship won't be changing that.

  • "HEY TK, and MYLOW, and all you HJ fans out there" Good luck in what you do,,,but for gawds sake...take some photo illumination lessons. All of you suck at photography. ILLUMINATE your gd gizzmos...and stop waving the effing camera around like a cigarette. Big overstuffed scientific minds with no feel for the big picture...litterally...that you want to show the world. Get some freaking photo floods..."let there be light" Real cheap at Home Hardware or...!!!

    Let your little light shine...!!!

  • thanks for your suggestion. But aren't you assuming something? Maybe the bad lighting is deliberate. Or maybe it's an artifact of Youtube's processing. Or both. Regardless, I know that in my videos I only show you what i want you to see. I can't speak for MyLOW.

I'm fine at photography. My photos have been published, hung in juried exhibits, and people have actually paid money for them. I understand photo and video lighting quite well, thank you.

Nice mag pendulum, by the way.

  • Hi TK...didn't mean to "illuminate" just your site, but can't let it shine across the whole of YT. Deliberate bad lighting..?? whew..!! the mystery deepens..Ok I accept that. Prefer the YT processing theory tho..

One more season of whirlybirding people and things around the north country, then maybe I'll build a better mouse..er..pendulum, maybe compare notes then..

You are always an interesting read.

    cheers

  • Assuming it's legit, the trick to Mylow's setup might just be asymmetrical placement of the rotors. Perhaps there is enough variance between individual magnets to make it it a contributing factor. He says he's been at it 30 years, maybe he's developed a feel for it.

  • Yes, making that same assumption, I agree. But, after 30 years with no luck, suddenly in the span of a few weeks he comes up with 8, that's EIGHT different arrangements, with all kinds of different magnets, that work? And nobody else, with the exact same magnets, can do it?

So, even if your assumption is correct--that the wheel mylow shows is "legit"--one still has the problem of explaining his phenomenal success, and the failure of all those others. I can think of no consistent explanation.

  • One thing he's said is, he noticed the magazine photos of HJ posing with the stonehenge model showed something different than the patent plans. Don't know when Mylow realized this, perhaps it was not long ago. It seems to be one of the main contributing factors to his design.

  • "The Skeptic rejects a discovery or invention merely because it has been believed for a long time that such a thing as the claimed discovery or invention is impossible."

I tend to believe this. Man will never fly, it defies all laws of gravity.

  • So first you set up a straw man "skeptic" and then you misquote some 100-year old journalist. What are you trying to say?

My skepticism is based on years and years of personal experimentation, more years and years of expensive study, and centuries of work both experimental and theoretical, by people a whole lot smarter than I. Not "merely because of some long-time beliefs."

And, by the way, it isn't "Man" that flies, but his (and her) machines (or fancy suits). We just fly IN them.

  • I think TK is jealous. Because he thought he had the only working all permanent magnet motor on the planet with it's little 5" diameter plastic rotor. Now here comes MyLow with his BIG 18" aluminum disk! What's the matter TK can't take the competition?

  • That's pretty funny!

In the first place, if you are referring to the "OCMPMM", IIRC "al" never, claimed to have a working permanent magnet motor perpetual motion machine. So what's to be jealous of? In the second place, Mylow's disk doesn't work as advertised either, or he'd snap up my thousand dollars, just to make me look stupid. Wouldn't you?

Competition? I see no competition. I'll gladly show you mine, if you show me yours. But I see you haven't got one -- or at least haven't posted it.

  • Sorry TK I was just funnin' with you. I really do respect the scientific method you use to investigate these type of things. I for one got chills the first time I saw the whipmag video. The way it just accelerated was way cool. It didn't look like a fake to me and neither does Mylows.

  • Thanks. If you are referring to the video I am thinking of, there are a bunch of clues and discrepancies in that one too. Of course it's hard to tell, since the original isn't available and the reposts have all been processed. And of course there are the undeniably real effects that were demonstrated by that device, that have been replicated independently, even if they don't produce actual acceleration.

(Although I've heard a rumor that this too has been replicated recently...)

  • TK said

Although I've heard a rumor that this too has been replicated recently...

Any chance we might be able to find more info on that? ;) maybe a directional clue?

  • I know the replicant, er, replicator watches these threads. I think we'll just have to wait until that, um, er, entity is ready to show what they've got. Although I heard that it may have been discussed on FizzX, I'm not sure, because I don't like fizzy things so I don't go there myself. I'm a Scots whisky kind of fellow, you can keep the soda.

  • mylow his crap didnt really seem allthat impressive seems like it still in very alpha stages dont feel bad hes removed my comments to just for asking about it

  • I would again like to remind viewers that I will not tolerate foul language, or assertions of incompetence without support. If you don't have anything to say except to insult, I will block you instantly. Scientific discussions and disagreements are welcome and encouraged. Insults, threats, and so forth are not. I am the only one allowed to insult persons, on this thread. If you don't like that, you don't have to watch.

If you want to insult and sling filth, please log on to overunity.

  • "If you don't have anything to say except to insult, I will block you instantly."

    Following MyLow's example, I see.

  • Not exactly. Mylow blocked me, not because I insulted him--which I haven't, anywhere, that I can recall--but rather because I challenged him to show his device, and I told him exactly how his stator magnets were actually magnetized, and I suggested several easy-to-do control experiments, and so forth. There's no similarity at all in our blocking criteria.

  • Dear Mr Prsident Barrack Obama , This is proof that Mr Mylow should be given a chance to prove to you that the magnet motor has a place in world energy independence. Mr Mylow has shown the world that his device works and is being dismissed by people that cant put there hands on the device. Maybe Howard Johnson the origanal inventor sold the patent to the ?,and is technolagy that has been swept under the rug and illegal to produce. An energy cloaking consperacy? Thanks Mr President

  • LOL...Mylows awesome...Either Mylows a brilliant hoaxster, or just plain brilliant...

  • He's just a patsy. Someone else is pulling the strings. I think the whole thing is a black op, to discredit PES and Sterling. And it's working brilliantly, I'll give you that.

It certainly is the most fun I've had lately, with machines, with my clothes on, in the daylight...

  • Come on. Try applying occam's razor to this whole thing.

  • Exactly. By far the simplest explanation is that Mylow does not have what he claims and is producing his effects by ordinary (that is, physically well-understood) means that do not contradict years of research and consistent theorization.

  • How is he doing it then.

  • Thats not a fair question, considering the evidence. There is not enough evidence, as planned.

  • TK

I do not know what to say on this one other than what a great story. I will not try replicating such.

His free floating arm should be vibrating. I don't see it. Talk about a whole lot of magic magnets. LOL

  • A quote from Sterling's web page about MyLOW:

"I'll tell you this, some of those really obnoxious skeptics who act more like paid provocateurs, should be glad they're not walking around in person with those of us who are trying to help bring this technology forward. They might have a black eye or two."

To me, this sounds like a physical threat. In the words of our former President, "Bring it on."

  • Question on the aluminum disk. If set up like mylow says, S down N up, when a stator passes the N, does the S pole deform or flex much? Just wondering if the al. would put a drag on that flex, there by affecting the bounce back of the north to normal after the pass. I know it wouldnt be much of a delay or affect, but would it be a detectable thing?

    Just thinkin

    Magthinkin

  • Yes, I can detect it. It shows up in the vibration signature, even if it isn't visible in disk deflection.

  • One cheap+easy method that could work is shine laser at angle on (assumed reflective) disc near that location. Even micro-inch deflections could show up if sufficient distance to the reflected laser "spot" is utilized. Small vertical deflections should cause RELATIVELY large angular deviation in the beam

Signal noise is an issue due to disc finish irregularities/vibration

"Yes, I can detect it. It shows up in the vibration signature, even if it isn't visible in disk deflection."--TinselKoala

  • Yep, good suggestion. I've got access to a Keyence laser proximity sensor that will actually give realtime position reports accurate to a few microns...the scratches in my disk would look like the Hindu Kush on that scale, and runout would seem like an earthquake...

But what's the point? Is a "thousand percent" impossible really more than just 100 percent impossible? That is, how many nails does it take to nail a coffin shut?

    Or something...

  • Props to add to the drama that is. I post replies here but they just go to the top

    Magluvin

  • Is mylows disk accelerating when the stator is in the gaps? motor driven.

When he first starts it up as its just building speed you can see it. And it slows down over the magnets that are where the thig "self starts". Motor driven

Also just before it starts to run, as he was handling the disk, I was looking for a lil torque action possibly when the switch was turned on, and maybe a lil, but I saw that it looks like a self starter there and later it self starts in the middle of the set.

  • f it starts in the middle of the magnet set, then ther is no need for gaps.

    Magthinkin

  • Without gaps, it doesn't even look like it's rotating much. So the gaps need to be there to add drama.

  • lol props

  • Good observation. IF it is supposed to operate by magnet interactions, I would think it would decelerate in the gaps and only speed up during the times it was actually exiting a "pushzone" or entering a "pullzone", which would be quite near the beginnings and ends of the rotor groups. Between the groups it should slow down.

I can't tell myself, from looking at these YT videos. But I know my motorized testbed behaves as you have described, slowing down when the stator is over the rotor magnets.

  • Like you said, I know there is some strange motive, whether its attn. or some weird plot, not well disguised. Like maybe he is recruting for his cult. He has the followers. And I think they are all blinded by the talk, not payin attn to all the details of whats really going on.

If he turns out to be real, I will have to get me a labotomy so by that time I wont know what to appologize for.

    Magluvin

  • Honestly I think Mylow is using your motor idea and stoppin it with his hands and holds it, only to let it go and now showing a self starter. Just like he did with the gravity. Ive seen people do these types of tricks and they do them for a living. Ya know, in the new vid of the base dsassembly, I remember when he showed the base a while ago, the bearing was at the top of the base assy, now its on the bottom. Does he have 2? ;)

He could be a hypnotist also.

    magluvin

  • About bearing being on top of the base assy.. not true. Easily verified by youtube video number mW3JycnNO_E.

  • Thanks for the correction. Must have mistaken how it was orientated.

  • Nevertheless there is something very strange about that bearing support system. It's a big, heavy disk. There are heavy magnets, sometimes mounted quite asymmetrically. There is the stator magnet, acting asymmetrically. Yet there is only the single bearing, on the bottom. Yet the disk never seems to wobble or tip over.

I doubt seriously if I could duplicate that construction and behaviour, with all my tricks and skills.

  • Hey Mylow--that thousand dollars is just sitting here, waiting for you to post your video of 2 UofC scientists verifying that your motor does what you say it does.

All you have done with your recent videos is to reduce the uncertainty: First, you, Mylow, have crossed the line into fraud; and second, you've narrowed down the ways you could be faking--from hundreds to dozens. One thing is for sure: You do NOT have a working magnet motor.

Go ahead, PROVE ME WRONG. There's some money in it for you!

  • Nice try, TK. I tried that $1,000.00 approach with Alsetalokin and it didn't seem to interest him one bit. Maybe MyLow will give in and do what you ask. I hope so.

I have been asking him to do just what you are asking since day 1. Of course, the record of all that is gone now, since MyLow blew away his initial youtube account. Oh well, just one more day of free energy frustration.

  • Clearly MyLOW is motivated by an entirely different dynamic than is "alselatokin". As much as you keep trying to draw analogies between the two, the differences are much more significant than the similarities. First, of course, Mylow is lying, while "al" always told the truth. Second, Mylow's "motor" doesn't even have what is called "face validity", much less reproducibility. Nothing new is coming out of Mylow's construction, whereas the OC/"al" device demonstrates several new effects. And etc.

  • Motivation may be entirely different. Truth is that both Alsetalokin and MyLow have posted Youtube videos that "appear" to be doing something considered impossible by conventional physics and which excited the entire free energy community. Both have refused to demonstrate their devices in the presence of credible witnesses. And both have refused to have their devices examined by a reputable lab. End result is the same.

Maybe you don't see any parallels there, but I certainly do.

    OC

  • Alsetalokin is fully qualified to pass judgment on this type of device--as you may recall, when you contacted a certain Austin laboratory, they in turn contacted "Al", as the most experienced local "expert" available, to see if he was interested in evaluating the device you were inquiring about. And "Al" himself has already stated his determination: No OU, nothing to get excited about, move along.

MyLOW, OTOH, seems to be incapable of evaluating his way out of an impending lawsuit, at this time.

  • You are asking MyLow to get independent evaluation of his device, but apparently don't see any need for Alsetalokin to do the same.

Both are just anonymous Youtube users, yet you take Al's word but nor MyLow's. Why the discrepancy? Looks like a double standard to me.

  • Of course it is a double standard. Al did not make any incredible claims, and I take his word, because we have, shall we say, a certain intimate relationship in the background. We've both had sex with some of the same women, in other words. In MyLOW's case, I don't think this could be true (although there was Marilyn, who hailed from the Windy city...). So I am predisposed to believe "al" since he made no claims that are incredible; whereas MyLOW clearly has.

  • At least DesertPhile doesn't discriminate between Alsetalokin and MyLow. He thinks they are both faked.

  • And in turn, I think DesertPhool is a fake. And a potty-mouthed one, to boot. Was it St. Augustine, or maybe Thomas, who said it:

A man is not defiled by what he puts into his mouth, but by what comes out of it.

As a result, while DesertPhool may have some good ideas and may even occasionally be right about something, the discriminating tuna knows that those who can, do, and those who cannot, teach, and those who cannot even teach, sit at home and curse their isolation with foul videos.

  • Sorry dont mean to bother you but if mylow blocked me from posting, how would I know for sure. Just asking cuz your the only one I know that has been blocked and my posts just go grey and never post. I would think it would at least say, hey get outa here, er user blocked from posting here, er sumthin.

    thanks

  • That's how you can tell--your posts go grey and never show up. There's no message that you are blocked, that I can see. And you can't check to see who blocks you. This is another failing of the YT interface.

Also, if you know you had posts showing up in the past, but they are now gone, you know the owner of the thread has removed them.

As MyLow did for several of my posts.

  • Thanks TK. I dont know what it was that I said, Maybe my words were not "orientated" correctly. ;)

  • If you were critical or suggested logical control experiments, or pointed out how it could have been faked, he probably blocked you for that. He blocked me and removed my comments the instant I offered the Thousand Dollars, in a comment, if he would show it to two local scientists of his own choosing and show them on video saying it was actually doing what he said it was. That challenge is what prompted MyLOW to block me.

But also weird combos of punctuation, or links, will disappear a comment.

  • It seems MyLow opted for option B.

  • MyLow: start backing up everyone because i was let down to much i give up thanks overunity. com for helping me make up my mind.will be deleteing my you tube account for ever and this stuff will allways be with me. sorry Q. sorry john. sorry all who tried to relpicate on other one bites the dust. will be doing this on a privet venture. sorry stering for letting you down. (spelling is MyLow's, not mine.)
  • Looks like this statement was Yet Another Lie from MyLOW. Seeing as how he has posted more videos showing a "running" motor, and then a dissassembly...but not a dissassemmmbly of a running motor, and not an asssemmbly of a dissassemmblly which then runs...and he hasn't made a claim for my Thousand Dollars...It must be nice to be rich, and the inventor of Fire 2.0, as well.

But seriously, involving the Vice President, selling plans, claiming OU, all that...he's setting himself up for a BIG fall.

  • TK:

With the current rate of inflation, your $1,000.00 will be worth about 5 cents by the time Mylow actually takes you up on this challenge. Of course he won't because he has NO WORKING device. I feel bad for him, I even feel sorry for him but, that does not change the "facts" as he has presented them to us. They do not add up. The world has been denied seeing this technology due to the MIB, FBI, NSA, CIA and a malicious broom. What's next?

    Bill

  • We're clearly on the same page, Bill, but what happened to Sterling? Has he reached a mid-life crisis or something? I mean, credulity and fuzzy thinking can only be stretched so far, before fluid starts building up in the brain and dripping out the earholes.

What upsets me the most isn't some Chicago truck driver who's excited about circle-SMOTs, but rather that Sterling Allen, a once- (somewhat) respected journalist and reporter, has lost whatever little credibility he had. He's been pwnd!

  • I like all of us to win! You lose your $1K and showed you're not just talk, MyLow gets to show he's no scam and we don't need to watch the comedy shows anymore!

  • Don't hold your breath.

Remember, if what MyLOW claims is true, it will be a completely revolutionary scientific achievement, akin to the demonstration of radioactivity or the supplanting of Ptolemaic models of astronomy with Copernican.

Do you really believe that, after all these years and all these magnets, that Mylow, with 3 or 4 different arrangements of different magnets, has finally hit the non-existent jackpot? If so, I've got some really good snakeoil to sell you. Much better than his.

  • Yep. I agree. Nevertheless, with the continuing saga and Sterling's absolute trust in MyLow to produce, I can only give them the benefit of the doubt, despite the fact the odds are heavily against common sense. But then, what do I know?

  • I believe you know enough, to be able to evaluate Mylow's story on its own merits. Is it internally consistent? Does it have "face validity"? Does it contradict anything you know for a fact to be true? And so forth. Mylow's story fails on many counts--not the least being his refusal, or rather inability, to claim my ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS, that could be his, or even Sterling's, just for showing a working motor to some believable persons.

(He claims SEVEN different working configurations, now...)

  • Seems fair enough.

  • Don't feel bad, Desertphile blocked me from posting on his vids. I guess it's the perogative of the host to 86 whom they choose.

BTW, I've asked your alter ego a couple of questions on FizzX...I wonder if he'll ever answer.

Oh, and don't be surprised if Mylow does just as you have asked. You may have to use your MiB influence to set up the interview though :D

  • I don't feel bad, I feel mad.

Desertphool and his twin brother NotSoYoungAnymoreHippy blocked me early on, and I returned the favor "sight-unseen". Can you imagine? I suggested mildly that Hippy might modify his language a bit since there are wee'uns watching, and he told me to take my Fascist ideals to another F'n planet, in so many words. That kind of irony could bring down governments.

I don't look at FizzX at all. And I'm sorry if your questions sometimes go unanswered. It's not deliberate.

  • I like your style

I like all you did on your setup. Do you also use pc test/monitoring software for some stuff? If so, any recommendations?

    Magluvin

  • Hmmm- I answered this, with some details about instruments and etc, and my comment disappeared. It seems that YT scans text for unacceptable strings and simply "vanishes" any comment that contains them. Unfortunately the criteria for exclusion seem arbitrary and more "commercial" than "moral" or "tasteful". That is, insulting and foul language always makes it into comments, but links, certain abbreviations, and brand names don't seem to. I have complained to YT about this, with no reply.

  • Thanx, Anyway, after a long detailed description that disappeared, the short answer is no, not yet, but my data-logging digital tachometer is supposed to arrive today, and I just built a usb adc-dac thingie, and I'll be building a labview app today, and in the next week I'll be generating actual data graphs of rundowns in various magnet configurations. If the MIBs don't get me, that is.

  • After making and losing a couple of comment posts, it looks like the offending string is " (dot) vi" which is of course the file extension for labview virtual instruments. When I posted the exact same comment with that string substituted with another, it made it through.

HEY YOUTUBE, why don't you publish in a prominent place, the filter criteria for comments, so we don't waste so much time that we could be spending looking at your advertisements??

  • OK, the ChimPo digital Tach DT-209x did arrive today, and as soon as I can figure out how to turn it on, I'll start recording realtime rundown RPMs in various configurations and making graphs of them.

Now, where did I put that 50-foot USB extension cable...

  • I've seen the same inconsistencies multiple times

In addition I've seen the character counter immediately switch from ~200 "remaining character" to ~50 "over the limit" after simple actions such as 2 line-feeds

I've also typed less than 40 characters in a reply, and it caused the "over the limit" warning to appear

I think their post algorithms are on occassion flakey, and "sensitive" to certain character sequences, or even specific symbol characters such as "&"

Also get no responses from YT

  • Yeah, and notification of comments is flaky too. I found this one by reviewing, but imagine those long multipage forked threads---it's really easy to miss things that should be replied to.

Maybe there should be a "YT Complaints" video playlist, since they don't seem to read their emails.
