  • Yes it's a drift... The old civics were awd and that's a classic 4 wheel drift. Ice or no, fwd or awd, a drift is a drift is a drift. End of discussion

  • Dat's like snow bording to me lol

  • is it really a drift if you need ice? thats like saying my 90 toyota camry used to drift in the rain when i took turns

  • that was a power slide lieing fuckers!!!

  • that was not a drift!! that calls slide out of control on ICE!

  • Weak!

  • gotta love Honda

  • nice

  • eskamo drift??

  • powersliding ?

  • Its a honda.....junk

  • there's drifting.....then there's sliding. You sir, you're sliding.

  • @adamlee17 if thats the AWD civic then hes drifitng

  • he's not realy drifting a turn it just slides sideways and the driver is turning the wheel but nothing happens still looks cool nice vid

  • pakistan zindabad

  • Drift: To put a vehicle in a controlled slide.

Where does it say a drift can only be performed in a rear-wheel drive car? Its just easier to do it in a rear wheel drive car. No one said FF cars can't drift. Go find some arabs.

  • @bliss0512 What do u mean go find some arabs?!? :P

  • @OfficialTrikyTreh Search YouTube for "Arab drift". Craziest bastards with FF cars.

  • @bliss0512 to be more Truth its not really "Arab Drift" its really "Saudi Drift" Arabs r trash at it! Them Crazy niggaz u see doin 1080 spins goin 220km, ya They Saudis! Get the facts right brahh! :)

  • @OfficialTrikyTreh I know they're Saudis. I live in Saudi Arabia. But the tag on YouTube is "Arab Drift". Which is what i said. No other arabs would do half the crazy shit these guys can pull off. Like the saudi skating video. loool. I have yet to see that live but that was awesome.

  • More like a FWD slide lol

  • awd

  • power slide? ya.

  • @AAGWproductions power slide is when you have rear wheel drive and are powering through the turn sideways. this is just sliding

  • Can you say ice!

  • oh my fucking god, didnt know that was posible by car, by far

  • thaats not drifting

  • @TheNoisycricket96 Absolutely agreed. It's not a drift, it's just sliding sideways. The car seems to go in a straight line, but sideways :)

  • @thpc exactly where as in a drift you have absolute control of the car

  • i want a hond!

  • @XXwikkiXX i have 2 :P

  • @twgolf12 ur 2 hondas = to my 1 mercedes slk 230

  • @XXwikkiXX ew

  • old school>:D

  • ALASKA DRIFT, awesome dude

  • He's just gliding. It wouldn't be as smooth if there wasn't any snow.

  • looks like the ground is moving

  • awd powa

  • Feather the throttle just a bit more :)

  • that was quite sick :)

  • thats slidind

  • @camaro20099 He started before the apex of the turn > this was a drift (very end of turn was not good tough).

  • sigh...I really wish I hadn't lost all my vid files when I fried my hard drive.....or at least that I had backed them up elsewhere.....set me back about a year for my demo reel purposes.

p.s. won two regional TSD rally championships in an EF chassis....the first of which, it was completely stock.

  • you should get yourself an EF chassis, they work even better for it (weight distribution and dimensions).

  • OMG YES!!!

  • haha nice! check out my slide in the rain!

  • lol drift my ass haha thats just sliding now get urself a rwd car do it when it's dry......240sx FTW

  • @telluride1 You idiot, anyone who says you can't drift a fwd, has no freggin clue what drifting is. Drifting is all about weight transfer to initiate it (yes, in a rwd or awd you can use the throttle to break the rear loose...but that just makes drifting easier to initiate, it doesn't define it), now, in a rwd or awd, you use the throttle to control the drift once you get it inertial, defaulting to understeer. In a FWD however, you use the throttle to control it by defaulting to oversteer.

  • @darthjader08 yes it's possible to drift with fwd but it's alot harder and in the VIDEO which i was reffering to that was not drifting at all, all he is doing is sliding on the ice. i think i know what drifting is i was stationed down in yokota japan and every chance we got me nd my friends would meet with the locals nd go into the mountains ..im no pro but i kno what im talking about

  • @telluride1 Yes, it is harder, mainly because you can only initiate it with weight transfer, and precision unweighting. At the start it was a true drift, it had inertial oversteer going, the car was travelling in an arc, and the direction of travel was the direction the tires were facing, not the car (which is the dumbed down definition of drifting: where the car is travelling in the direction the tires are pointed, rather than the way the car is facing). For all intents and purposes...cont'd...

  • @telluride1 ...cont'd...for all intents and purposes it started out as a true drift....but then it just turned into an uncontrolled broad slide....which, on ice, is not very impressive (although fun).

The Japanese may have turned it into a sport, but they are not the be all end all drifting guru's, on the contrary, most of them suck, in general Asians are terrible drivers (it's basic genetics, without peripheral vision, you won't do very well unless you're in a controlled environment)...cont'd.

  • @telluride1 ....cont'd....furthermore, people were drifting cars long before the first asian ever even drove one. It was common place in the 30's in stock car racing, often used in the 40's in grand prix racing, and from the 60's onwards, rally racers perfected it as an art (granted, on adverse surfaces...really the only way to take advantage of drifting to go faster), it wasn't until the late 70's before Asians started drifting cars.

  • @darthjader08 yeah umm i really dont care i ddnt bother on what u typed but good for u for knowing all that

  • @darthjader08 ....cont'd....there is a difference between drifting and powersliding drifting is all about the turn angle and speed and power sliding is about getting through the turn with out losing speed or time and it was late 60s when Japanese started drifting

  • @EPzti Yes, I know VERY WELL there is a difference between drifting and powersliding.....the primary difference being that you don't lose much speed at all with drifting (and it usually occurs - at least when it's unintentional - when the driver exceeds the maximum speed for the traction threshold), but while you enter the turn at high speeds, your speed drops significantly with powersliding....power oversteer is not beneficial. Drifting is almost always inertial...

  • it went from drift to sliding sideways

  • I do that in a grand am. Go e-brake!

  • lets see an Opel do that

  • lets see a nissan do that ..

    :)

  • PFFT! I do all the time (in NFS)

  • lol even though that was one snow that was awesome

  • how the fuck did he make that?? with a frontwheeler

  • Fuck all that

  • SO FAKE WHEELS AREN'T MOVING LOL

  • @BURNER124742 yes they are. and why would someone fake this? and how?

  • @BURNER124742 dude your an idiot for thinking its fake. its not cool though because its on the snow i could drift a fucking golf cart on the snow he had no control of that if there was a wall or something this wouldnt be called drifting it would be a video of some idiot wrecking on ice

  • @FRESHBOYWILL17 FUCK YA ASS FOR SHOWIN OFF "WOW UR THE BEST!" FUCKING DAMMASS SON OF A BITCH

  • @BURNER124742 lmfao wtf are you even talking about...oh and your caps lock is on "dammass"...learn how to spell before you try to insult me

  • Awsome model!!

  • lol...i am from japan....this is drift dreamer...you made it..lol

  • EPIC.

  • thumbs up if you think a 2 yr old could do better WITHOUT ICE

  • did he died?

  • that is awesome! i used to have that exact car. I named it The Egg

  • A ``DRIFT`` is done with a RWD not with a Fwd pulling the parking brake. You don`t know what you are talking about. And a Drift is done on pavement going around a corner, not on snowSLIDING in a straight line. Try again

  • @jdelarge1 still, he isn't using the hand brake, so i think in a way it is drifting. he is losing traction on purpose by accelerating, which is how rwd cars drift too

on pavement, though, it is not drifting

  • @jdelarge1 your a fag

  • @JrokJrok great come back. Are you still living in1992? You could try using that brain of yours if it still works. Or are you just a 12 year old kick who is just learning the term "fag"? Real drivers own RWD!! Try again!!

  • @jdelarge1 obviously RWD cars are a million times better than FWD cars for drifts but there is such a thing as power over drifts which are technically reffered to as "power slides" so i mean its not impossible to do, but clutch drifting and e-brake drifting in RWD is deffinatly the way to go

  • @ShonnGreene2323 its easier to steer a FWD if you're going to powerslide.

  • @jdelarge1 yOUR a FAg

  • @jdelarge1

Well this obviously is not drifting, it's just some Minnesotan guy having fun at the lake. Gee, chill out. Drifting is usually done with RWD, But can be done with FWD or 4WD, it's just harder. Also, you can drift in a straight line.

  • oh and im the owner of the car but at the time of the vid i dident have a comp so beefjerky man uploaded for me lol i just didnt want some dumb ass being like its not yours blah blah

  • lol thanks it was a like snow that was frozen solid it was weird

  • This car should drive in summer, but nice drift =P

  • nice drift

  • that was most likly on ice, but that would be hard to control if it was, good job dude

  • most drifters cant do that

  • Not bad ...

  • Tokyo Drift babe! :D

  • that was sweet

  • i need 1986 parts

  • Do u kno keri...i think i remember goin drifting with you...
