Most laser pointers are class 2 lasers. Those that aren't C2 are generally so powerful you can see the beam due to Raleigh Scattering.

Class 2 means that they are almost completely safe and will not harm your eyes (unless you're stupid and stare into the beam) since your Blink Reflex will limit exposure.

Unless the cat is being forced to stare into the beam for several seconds, it's fine.

This is what our cats love most, too! Sometimes we let them "catch" it under their paw - then they raise their paw to look under it for the light. It's good ecercise, keeps them alert and their reflexes sharp - and they love it!

the litte experience i have of outdoor kitteys, is they seem to be REALLY thin and indoor kitteys are "regular" ive never in my life seen a cat so big as this one.

but maybe it differs from country to country. and what food they get. and i guess if a cat is alone and has no friend to play with it will get bigger.
