Did you know he had to take lessons due to his clentched teeth? In one video of him and Tammy Wynette, he accidently spits on her two times during it. Still an amazing singer though, one of the best in history.

George Jones invented autotune with his own voice. Not like these other singers who need a machine to make them sound better. Favorite song is Radio Lover.

@Hs06mcgu - I read an article some years back about some producer wanting to add some studio FX to a tune Jones was doing, &Jones refused, & ended up not recording the song at all. He's a true master. On the "Cold Hard Truth" album, many the songs on that album were done in JUST ONE TAKE!!! Jones had that wreck and couldn't go back to the studio to add the final touches like they normally do. When he started out they did everything live- if you made a mistake you had to do the whole song over!

I love this song a 50 year career yes fifty years. take that you wantabes man is awesom saw him in concert and man could he rock a stage he sang I dont need your rocking chair and nobody stood up we were in awe of his energy and he was 70.
