I know that this video was suppose to focus on Che and all the stuff he's done and to encourage arguments about different views on how he is viewed but,
What's the name of this song? It's bloody amazing.
Che’s radicalism was spawned from living in Guatemala during the 1953 overthrow of Jacobo Arbenz by the CIA at the behest of the United Fruit Company (those lovely capitalists who liked to kill brown Central Americans so Americans could have cheap bananas).
Che saw the brutality of U$ Imperialism up close, and gave his life in Bolivia to defeat it. Che fought 3 U.S.-backed dictators during his life (Batista, Mobutu, Barrientos).
History may not ever see such a brave man again. VIVA CHE!!
"The only hope you have is to accept the fact that you're already dead. The sooner you accept that, the sooner you'll be able to function as a soldier is supposed to function: without mercy, without compassion, without remorse. All war depends upon it." Roland Spiers from the 101st airborne during WW2. What about all of the POW's shot who had nothing to do with the horrible murdering camps that were gunned down as they were bound and weaponless, sometimes blindfolded?
"I have yet to find a single credible source pointing to a case where Che executed 'an innocent'. Those persons executed by Guevara or on his orders were condemned for the usual crimes punishable by death at times of war or in its aftermath: desertion, treason or crimes such as rape, torture or murder. I should add that my research spanned five years, and included anti-Castro Cubans among the Cuban-American exile community in Miami and elsewhere."
Fuck all Cuban Americans. Fidel and Che freed Cuba from what was one big Caribbean Las Vegas for the rich cocksuckers to come down for the weekend to smoke cigars at strip clubs and find a nice Cuban hooker after the show. Sure Cuba's economy is struggling because of the embargo that won't allow them to sell Cuban cigars to it's neighbor but those who left freedom and equality for a life of materialism is exactly what is wrong with our world today.
Did you know that cuba has one of the highest black market prostitution rates in the WORLD? Girls as young as 6 selling themselves to tourists....tourists that are usually sympathetic to castro etc.. have you been to cuba?
Fidel and che brought NOTHING but TYRANNY oppresion AND MISERY TO the island.
@kaimana00 I'm sure Batista and his murderous regime backd by the USA was doing a much better job, killing thousands for their own fun and forcing the same prostitution you bring up. The fruit and radio companies used cuba as its playing grounds and allowed Batista to do whatever he wanted as long as they got what they wanted.
You sir, must be retarded. I'm from Argentina, and I have traveled across Latin America. If there's anything that bothers me, it's the amount of lies that come from you, and all the other Imperialist imbeciles who think they're hot shit.
Do us all a favor and quite your disgusting lies, asshole.
@kaimana00 Very true as I talk to Canadien people who were visiting Cuba (on vacation) and they told me about the big prostitution problem there... in fact they were only aloud in certain parts of the city they stayed at.
@kaimana00 What has America brought? A bunch of bullshit, like killing Africa's best leader: Gaddafi! Like assassinating presidents in countries because they opposed them? You fucking idiot, you don't even know do you? You have to been programed systematically to think the way you do. Since you were born, they control what goes on the news, what music you listen to, how you dress, and most importantly what you believe! Think original, think proactive! Viva La REvolucion, you bitch!
Killing africa's best leader QADDAFI!!! LMAO Is that the best you can do??? You are a sick joke, You have poisoned your mind with the monthly socialist worker and cpusa trash like a fish in a frying pan being slowly cooked until you are fried. Hey chris, look out your window those guys in black three piece suits and helicopters are going to get ya.
@chibulls815 Communism has never worked. It has always resulted in misery, death and economic disaster.
The only Communist country that is thriving is China....Why? Because they went to a free market capitalist system....LOL
Some day when you grow up, you'll look back and say, "What the fuck was I thinking", how could I have been so stupid....until then, fuck you! fuck Fidel,...and most of all, FUCK GUEVARA!!
@Dealit707 I'm amazed at how many here praise the failure that communism is. Sad truth is most will not wake up. Hollywood and left wing media spoon feed them crap and they believe it.
@chibulls815 thats why so many poor cubans lose their lives on straw boats to come to the shores of miami because they are so free....... your an idiota...
@chibulls815 Why would you hate Cuban Americans? You hate people that want freedom? Your such an idiot. Why do you love the fact that castro and che turned cuba into a toilet? Do you see anyone trying to immigrate to Cuba? Opps! I gotcha again! Your too stupid to comment!
@chibulls815 Ahh!!...The good ole days, when you could fly down to Cuba with a wad of cash, smoke a fat cigar at a strip club, then get your pipes cleaned for five bucks from a sweet Cuban hooker. It was a "win-win" for everyone. Now Cuba is communist hellhole. (Surprise).
Fidel Castro recently admitted that Communism was a miserable failure for Cuba...Thanks Fidel!!!, for the 50 plus years of misery. When Capialism returns, Cuba will thrive again, ask the Chinese, they figured it out.
@kaimana00 I'm sure birdbrain didn't know about Eisenhower's arms embargo. And if he did, it doesn't fit the myth he wants to believe, so why let those nasty old facts get in the way of a good story.
@jpb252 Yeah, and not to forget torture, poverty and repression is what CASTRO has given the island since he came to power on a scale that even would make the asshole batista BLUSH! but that doesnt fit the image that birdbrain wants to believe in.
"I believe that there is no country in the world including any and all the countries under colonial domination, where economic colonization, humiliation and exploitation were worse than in Cuba, in part owing to my country’s policies during the Batista regime. I approved the proclamation which Fidel Castro made in the Sierra Maestra, when he justifiably called for justice and especially yearned to rid Cuba of corruption. CONT PART TWO
PART TWO I will even go further: to some extent it is as though Batista was the incarnation of a number of sins on the part of the United States. Now we shall have to pay for those sins. In the matter of the Batista regime, I am in agreement with the first Cuban revolutionaries. That is perfectly clear."
– U.S. President John F. Kennedy, interview with Jean Daniel, October 24, 1963
Yeah che modeled a secret police based on the east german STASI....built U.M.A.P camps throughout the country.. where undesirables were kept like slaves and where many were executed and they were anything but spies, rapists etc..
I fail to se how he was a moron, he was a doctor, he set up grenade factories, built ovens for bread, organised schools for illiterate peasant cuban population, built a geurillla radio station, was a military tactical genius by all accounts, and all this while fighting as a geurilla army mostly using hit and run tactics !!! he was a ruthless disciplinarian but what do you expect fighting a geurilla war ? he executed only spies and deserters or rapists.(wikipedia)
@birdandthe you fail to see how he was a MORON?? he studied to be a doctor but he NEVER completed his schooling and never acquired a diploma....he was hardly a military genius he trained and organized guerrilla groups to oust panama, the congo, dominican republic etc..etc... and THEY ALL FAILED!
Prove that he only executed spies and deserters etc.. he was a psychotic he wrote a letter to his father explaining that he had a lust for killing people. Ohh and dont forget his U.N speech.
Are you single? I am looking for a jew-loving fag like yourself so that we can get together and celebrate freedom of speech and freedom to get as homo as we want to. We all should stand up against the terror of Islam by doing things they hate, i.e. turning homo!
@kaimana00 Wel according to an american journalist who studied this he never found a single person amongst cuban refugees who fled cuba who said Guvera had executed anyone who was not a spy, deserter or rapist. He certainly won the war in Cuba, he won on batle when being outnumbered 10 to 1. Can you disprove he he only killed deserters spies and rapists ?
WHAT A LAUGH !!! THIS IS PROPOGANDA!!! JOSEF GOEBELLS SAID PROPOGANDA IS NOT TELLING LIES, OR TELLING THE TRUTH, BUT TELLING THE BITS OF TRUTH THAT SEEM TO FAVOUR YOUR CAUSE'.
@kaimana00 Who said i was a Stalinist ? where did i say i was a Stalinist ? you are not reading correctly, so you have jumped to a (wrong) conclusion based on zero evidence, actually i agree that Communism and facism are essentially the same. Both used propoganda, just beacause i QUOTE someone it does not mean that i agree with it, so you have not done very well have you? so you cant justify calling me a moron.
@birdandthe ~~, just beacause i QUOTE someone it does not mean that i agree with it~~~~
Are you joking? you started your comment off like this: " THIS IS PROPOGANDA!!! JOSEF GOEBELLS SAID PROPOGANDA IS NOT TELLING LIES, OR ....." you came on ranting about how this video is propoganda then you proceeded to quote goebbels to back up your logic. and you say you dont agree with it?? You have just destroyed yourself.
also you tell jpb that you have to read more about che to know more etc..
@kaimana00 You dont get it, Goebells was absolutely right about propoganda, this does not then transform into i think goebells and the nazis were right, propoganda exists today and there is a waterfall of it coming off this video. Every political party/movemet uses propoganda, you select the worst angles of che guvera whilst ommiting any alternative view, this is a fatal omission of gaining a full picture. You are a propogandist, you can delete me if you like. this is in itself propoganda.
Look, check out the videos about che on youtube and you will find that a majority are PRO-CHE and many of the creators of those videos practically WORSHIP CHE so if you want pro che propaganda look at some of the other videos. tThey select The best angles of che and then you can come to this video and see the worst angles.
I am sure anyone can find good angles on the likes of hitler and goebbels too for example you like goebbels quote.
@kaimana00 I would like to see both angles, as for the Goebells quote it hardly shows him in a good light as basically it shows him as a master trickster and liar, who showed only a very small part of the truth, like your video. Hitler did have his good points, he took Germany out of depression, and regained the annexed Sudetanland, and he liked children and animals ( german! ), also he mastrmined the slaughter of jews, gypsys, slavs, communists etc and invaded half of Europe.
@birdandthe Like i said if you want to see the other angle look at a PRO CHE VIDEO all sorts of" cough cough" propaganda as you will see praising him. By the way i mentioned that che designed and built the U.M.A.P camps in cuba succesfully, he also succesfully created the secret police are you happy now?!
@kaimana00 No i am not happy because you are still concentrating on the bad angle and ignoring the good stuff, like schools education and health which he started in the cuban war and continued after, now that regime is far from perfect but it was an improvement on the gangsters who ran Cuba before.
@birdandthe My research of che shows him to have been a PSHYCHOTIC murdering moron! I am not obligated to try to show a favorable angle of him....just as i wouldnt care to show any favorable angles of hitler.
I am a propagandist because i am showing a view not favorable towards che?!! and why would i delete you or block you? i havent blocked anyone yet! and i have ran into some serious brainwashed che heads on here. only if you harass or give out death threats then i might block you.
@kaimana00 'I have yet to find a single credible source pointing to a case where Che executed 'an innocent'. Those persons executed by Guevara or on his orders were condemned for the usual crimes punishable by death at times of war or in its aftermath: desertion, treason or crimes such as rape, torture or murder. I should add that my research spanned 5 years, CONT PART TWO
John lee andersons book has LONG BEEN DEBUNKED. He spent over three and a half years of his research in HAVANA, gathering info straight from the ministry of che guevara hardly a credible source. then he has the AUDACITY to say that he has yet to find a single credible source pointing to a case, of che killing a innocent. DEFINE CREDIBLE SOURCE!!? if he really looked harder he would have known that hundreds of innocents were killed by che.
@kaimana00 Debunked by who ? are they neutral and reliable ? How many innocents were killed by the overthrown regime? whos boss (gadafi like) fled to south america with 300 million dollars of pilfered cash !!!! Not heard much about them yet have we ? i will have alook at his bunch as well and get back.
@birdandthe~~~ Debunked by who ? are they neutral and reliable ~~~
If you consider the journalist john lee anderson neutral and reliable then who would you consider neutral and reliable?~~~ How many innocents were killed by the overthrown regime~~~
According to the bohemian magazine some years back about 2,000 died under the rule of batista. Now how many were killed under the castro regime??
@kaimana00 is Bohemian magazine reliable ? why did JFK say cuban rule under batista was worse than any colony on the planet, does torture poverty and repression count ? or are you not counting that ? Batista fucked off with 300 million dollars which is worth about 3000 million dollars now, now if he had not drained all this money from the people, the revolution might never have happened, could it be just one greedy man and his henchmen ?
@kaimana00 Sure i have to read more, and i will be backin a couple of days, but i am absolutely sure that the information i gather will be VASTLY different from the one -sided picture painted here.
One last point about your accusation about jpb removing a comment he made i have viewed the entire comments list on here and he hasnt removed any comment he made. if he did it would show up that jpb removed a comment plain for everyone to see. The only person that has the power to ENTIRELY erase comments made on this video is ME. and i havent erased anyones comments.
@kaimana00 got me there, he said he never said a comment and i could not find it so i presumed dirty tricks, then i found it again, so my mistake, but the problem is his bad use of grammar, which read. 'the nazis burnt the reichstag, then a few days later they invaded poland etc' im sure you know the events were six years apart, so he made a mistake as well.
ALL OF YOU PEOPLE ARE A BUNCH OF BLIND CONSERVATIVE POLITCAL FUCKHEADS, ''Die for an even worse yesterday or fight for a better tomorrow", we will not give up for the resistance to submit to the authority will go on, long before you or me are dead and gone motherfucker, viva la revolution, we will never stop, we will fight for what is right.
@BruceJBCpaintball Kind of interesting that you call for continued resistance to authority while making a hero of a man who helped establish the most brutal totalitarian regime in the western hemisphere. Talk about blind!
@BruceJBCpaintball Hitler will never be forgotten either, so what's your point? You could choose a true freedom fighter like Michael Collins for a hero, but instead you pick a Stalinist thug.
AFTER all of the debates we have had since the maker of this video had this video one thing is evident.....the che lovers suffer from COGNITIVE DISSONANCE!
Batistas total was no more than 2,000 that is two thousand
dont be ridiculous 70,000 cubans were victims of castro and che 2 million cubans left cuba within three years after your despotic tyrannical moron that you worship came to power more then 1 million+ more left since 1963 and with 40,000 leaving every year on average since 2000 and virtually no one coming in it stands to reason.
@kaimana00 the population of cuba in 1950 was 5,516,000. Take one million away, then 40,000 x 10 away from that (for the 40,000 that leave annually). And yet the population of Cuba today is 11,451,652. Figure that out for me. MrReco is right, don't use fake demographics to make a point.
So what ,Remember cubas population was 7 million in 1960 ,did you notice the relatively small increases each decade since 1960? cubas population in january 2010 was 11,216,973. down from 11,400,000 in 2006 and about the same as in 2000 which was 11.2 million!!! It is no joke that tens of thousands of cubans leave cuba every year asides from maxing out the 20,000 quota per year (in U.S) many more go to mexico ....(Cont)
@kaimana00 I think it's funny that your favourite book is 'Exposing the Real Che' Author Rold Potts goes on to critique the book's "slightly schizophrenic tone" for meandering off into subject matter that has little to do with the book’s premise, while positing that the books seems "less an indictment of Guevara than the New York Times or John F. Kennedy. He uses language like 'jackass, bumbler, fool, and coward' without any sources to back it up, and yet you take it for truth?
@KurtCobain198666 After going to mexico they generally come to the U.S. However , some go to europe, one was canek sanchez guevara (ches grandson) he left that castro and che hell hole ,and he has OPENLY criticized the castro regime. a system that his grandfather had a big part in helping to create.
You have the AUDACITY to say: "He uses language like 'jackass, bumbler, fool, and coward' without any sources to back it up, and yet you take it for truth?" and who is THE FOOL here?? The SHILL(you kurtcobain)for a totalitarian oppressive regime That uses a wikepedia article of an authors opinion as FACT.
Whats wrong with humberto using terms like fool, jackass, COWARD for che that is what che was.
@kaimana00 so even though EVERY review of the book by Humberto has been highly negative, you still take it as a source? Read A Revolutionary Life by Jon Lee Anderson, The Sotry of Che Guevara by Lucía Álvarez de Toledo, and Companero: The Life and Death of Che Guevara by Jorge Castaneda. Those were my sources, not anything as weak as wikipedia.
@KurtCobain198666~~~ so even though EVERY review of the book by Humberto has been highly negative, you still take it as a source~~~~
What do you mean by" EVERY REVIEW" ?? you wouldnt happen to be selective about that would you?
john lee anderson?? Sure the man spent over three years of his time researching about che in HAVANA straight from the ministry of che guevara.....what a JOKE!! get real.
@KurtCobain198666 ".....Lucía Álvarez de Toledo, and Companero: The Life and Death of Che Guevara by Jorge Castaneda are STRONG SOURCES? LOL no, these guys perform fellatio to ches photos
@kaimana00 so basically, the only books that are reliable about Che are the ones that show him in the light you already percieve him in. Define dogmatic? And yet, the americans cling to leaders like JFK, who had a failed presidency, and verbally slate people from other countries, and get involved in affairs that don't concern them. If a country isn't run the way they like, they install a leader they agree with which means a leader they can dictate too, and will let them shove fingers in some pie
@KurtCobain198666 It's funny to hear a Brit chiding Americans about interfering in another countries affairs. But the question remains, even if all the BS you throw out was true, how does that in any way justify Che helping Fidel establish the worst totalitarian regime in the western hemisphere?
@jpb252 Again with the question of justification. When have i tried, in any of the posts, to bring to light justification? I'm just pointing out the hypocryisy of the U.S. Whether you like it or not, the U.S has funded dictators, and the funded a middle eastern militia as an anti-communist cell. They used the funds to gather arms and recruit extremists. They became Al-Qaeda.
@KurtCobain198666 so because the US backed Afghans fighting the evil empire (USSR) and some of them later became Islamic terrorists no American can take note of Che's brutal reality? That doesn't make any sense. No matter how much lipstick you put on that pig, Che is still a Stalinist thug.
@KurtCobain198666 ~~~~, the only books that are reliable about Che are the ones that show him in the light you already percieve him in. Define dogmatic?~~~~
Do you see how this can be the other way around?? I have another point to make to you... from the end of world war two till 1991 we had what you call the cold war the U.S.S.R was our chief opponent while the U.S and U.K was the chief countries that had to hold back the soviet imperialism....which is an equasion you fail to understand.
@kaimana00 oh right, so because my country and yours fought te soviet in proxy wars, we're the good guys? The chief communist countries involved were USSR, East Germany, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Poland, Romania and, until the early 1960s, Albania. You mght want to do the maths again. Held back communism from where? It had already spread a great deal, and didn't stop spreadiing until the 70's.
You left out bulgaria, cuba (in angola ethiopia benin) nicaragua china n korea, vietnam. ~~Held back communism from where?~~~ lets see, south america ,el salvador ,nicaragua ,benin, ethiopia, mozambique grenada, south korea ,thailand, WESTERN EUROPE.
As far as the U.S funding dictators, that is true but in most cases the alternative would have been a communist loon what was the U.S and U.K supposed to do invade and overthrow the dictators?
@kaimana00 You funded Pol Pot so don't say that the U.S have tried to overthrow every communist goverment. You've only ever picked wars you could win. Stalin blatantly killed 20 million, and Mao killed 50 million but no wars were waged directly against them. But when communism comes to these smaller countries, you invade. Funny how the goverment got pissed when Castro nationalised United Fruit, but before that they were kissing his ass trying to kiss his ass to mantain there income.
@KurtCobain198666 Although the US, to its shame, gave diplomatic support to Pol Pot, the US did not fund Pol Pot. Tell me, what country (unless directly attacked) wages a war it doesn't think it can win? Yeah, it's too bad the US didn't see Fidel for what he was earlier and it's shameful the way the US abandoned Brigade 2506 at Playa Girón. But no matter how you slice it, Che was still a murdering Stalinist thug.
@jpb252 do you want a cracker? You're clearly a parrot. IT'S NOT ABOUT THE DEFENCE OF CHE. Are you with me so far, or shall I use '-' to mark syllable points, so you can split the words up? IT'S ABOUT THE SELF RIGHTEOUNESS OF THE U.S, WHO HAVE DIRECTLY AND INDIRECTLY (BY FUNDING MAD MEN) KILLED MILLIONS. Do you comprehend that? Don't come back with a 'yes we did, but' reply, because i'll just read 'yes, we did.' No matter how you slice it, the US is responsible for the deaths of millions
@KurtCobain198666 In case you hadn't noticed, this video is about CHE. You can shovel your bullshit all day, but that doesn't make it true and you're the one who seems to think no one has a right to criticize Che unless they're as pure as Ceasar's wife. Get over it, the US has done more good for the world that any communist 'freedom fighter' (like Che) who speaks words of freedom, but brings nothing but tyranny.
@jpb252 yes it about Che, and you're contiuously mssing my point. You defend your goverment, even though it's actions have killed hundreds of thousands of people. Therefore, you cannot defend one, and insult the other. It's the definiton of hypocrite. So my points were extremely valid
@jpb252 Definiton of war: active hostility or contention; conflict; contest: a war of words. Who wages a war it doesn't think it can win? Didn't Castro wage war against a goverment backed by the U.S. Didn't Gandhi commit to a movement against the British Empire. Didn't MLK continually push for civil rights against a largely racist country and goverment. Not all wars are fought with guns. Ahh the Bay of Pigs, love the way you bring that up, another of Kennedy's failures
@KurtCobain198666 Castro, Gandhi & MLK were convinced they could win. No one starts a war unless they think they can win. BTW, the only reason Pol Pot came to power was because of the communist victory (remember the US lost that war) in Indochina. How did that work out for them? What a shame the gutless leftists in America didn't have the stomach for the fight. And yes I can, and will, continue to help expose Che for the Stalinist pig that he was.
@jpb252 Gandhi and MLK were fighting oppressive goverments. There were several times when MLK said that he thought they were never going to gain civill rights, I know that for a face because i'm reading his autobiography. But he carried on protesting because he had faith in doing the right thing. Sometimes he lost faith in the movement and turned to God. So yes people start wars, even if they think they can't win, if they know they're fighting for a just cause.
@KurtCobain198666 A just cause, like the US fighting a cold war with the Soviet Union for 45 years? What a thrill the day the Berlin wall came down and the day the Romanians killed Ceaucescu. And when the USSR collapsed, never thought I would live to see it. Someday true freedom fighters will free Cuba, too. Not like those pigs Fidel & Che who spoke of freedom, but built a totalitarian hellhole that made Batista look like a boy scout.
Also you didnt pay attention to the discussion between myself and mr reco....mr reco was disputing the figure of executions carried out by castro and che which i said was 70,000 over the course of 20 years, he said it was 30,000...then i brought up the figures of cubans leaving the island which you tried to dispute UNSUCCESFULLY! even if the 11.45 million figure is right for 2010 then you still have a small increase of 200,000 in ten years that means alot of cubans are leavin
Ah no, Castro has killed 30 000.(1959-1999) While Batista murdered 20 000 in seven years.
Chile was a peaceful democracy before Pinochet took over. Mr Salvador Allende refused to use violence on the conservatives( fascists in disguise) and he and his supporters paid for that mistake(pregnant women shot, women raped by dogs etc)
@MrReco12 Because of Allende, Chile almost gets fucked and Chilean people would have died by starvation.I wont say pinochet was a saint(thats their follower´s work),but he clearly fixed economic issues in that time.
How do you know MOST people agreed when castro had thousands of people executed including pregnent women and children?? its been attributed that pinochet had 3100 people killed, castro had 70,000 people killed in the 60s and 70s and yet you praise him like a silly minded shill!!
@kaimana00 because it was the cuban public that called for the death sentence. Che ordered 34 of Batista's officers be put infront of firing squads, all were guilty of crimes against humanity. Show me one document that supports the 'fact' that Che had one pregnant womam or child killed, other that that 'exposing the real che guevara' crap, which recieved nothing but pitiful reviews. Even the U.S goverment is ashamed of aiding and funding Batista and called it a huge mistake.
@KurtCobain198666~~~~ because it was the cuban public that called for the death sentence. Che ordered 34 of Batista's officers be put infront of firing squads~~~~
How do you come to that conclusion? che set up U.M.A.P camps mistreating Homosexuals religious people and others deemed undesirable in cuba even castro just recently ADMITTED TO THE MISTREATMENT GIVEN TO HOMOSEXUALS UNDER HIS REGIME....prior to that shills like you would always dismiss those charges....when will you wise up?
@kaimana00 oh the hypocrisy. Wasn't homosexuality illegal in the U.S in the 50's? It wasn't until 1973 when the American Psychiatric Association removed homosexuality from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, negating its previous definition of homosexuality as a clinical mental disorder. Same sex 'activity' didn't become legal in the U.S until 2003. Weren't black people still being lynched in the 50's in the U.S? Can you afford to discuss human rights?
@KurtCobain198666 How does mistaken early US support for Batista (Eisenhower later slapped an arms embargo on Batista) justify Fidel & Che turning Cuba into a totalitarian hellhole? One could say the bigger US mistake was not recognizing Fidel for the communist he was and assisting his takeover to the detriment of the Cuban people. It's funny how many 'democratic reformers' backed by the American left have turned out to be tyrants.
@jpb252 it's not just Batsita though. The U.S gave Omar al-Bashir $1 billion in military aid. Parade listed 20 worst dictators, and found that the U.S funded 19 of them. In North Korea, Belarus, Ethiopia, Swaziland, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan the U.S. contributed more than 20 percent of the total aid these countries received from OECD countries. 100,000 people were murdered in South Korea prior to the Korean War by a brutal repression supported by US forces in 1945. There's more but oh well.
@KurtCobain198666 So you seriously contend that the US record on human rights is worse than the reds? Do you actually think Syngman Rhee was worse than Kim Il Sung? And to pretend that a Stalinist thug like Che was some kind of champion of freedom is just delusional.
@jpb252 by the way, there are many forms of communism- trostkyism, maoism,, stalinism, guevarism, castroism and so on. Che never leant towards Stalinism in his life, and never expressed it through his actions. He was a Marxist Leninist, who sympathised more with the PRC than the did the UUSR, which then caused him to be branded Maoist, but he was always Marxist Leninist. Even wikipedia, a ridiculous source, manages to get his political leanings right.
@KurtCobain198666 Che was indeed a Stalinist (he was even known to sign his name as Stalin II). He only broke with the Soviet Union and leaned toward Mao after Khruschev's de-Stalinization, which he considered revisionist. A murdering thug by any other name is still a murdering thug.
@jpb252 and yes, i do think the human rights record is worse than the reds, because of it's self righteousness. The u.s civilians don't realise what it's goverment does. The only difference between Stalin/Lenin, and Nixon and Johnson, is that Nixon and Johnson killed hundreds of thousands of foriegn civilians rather than there own. But technically, with the opression, murder and terrible treatment of afro-americans from the 60's back, the U.S DID kill many of her own people.
@KurtCobain198666 So poor race relations in the US somehow justify communist tyranny and murder? Even your specious claim that the US murdered thousands of foreign civilians doesn't justify Che's murderous record. The sun shown a little brighter the day the Bolivian Rangers killed that son-of-a-bitch.
@jpb252 Poor race relaitons? Is that how you justify invading countries, stealing natural recourses, and destroying places of worship of their national religion? I define it as actions of greed, barbarism, theft and tyranny. Youtube 'u.s soldiers destroy mosque'
@KurtCobain198666 So what counrty did the US invade to 'steal' their natural resources? If you receive fire from a mosque, too bad for the building. Of course it's the fault of the US soldiers, not the guys who decided to shoot from the mosque. Am still trying to figure out how your anti-American rant somehow justifies Che's (may he rot and burn in hell) murderous record.
@jpb252 the U.S, after its years of installing dictatorships and puppet goverments, it's years of lynching it's civilians while denying them basic human rights, years of waging self righteous wars, covering up war crimes (my lai massacre, incident on hill 192), does not have the moral high ground to pass judgement on Guevara.
@KurtCobain198666 Lynchings in the US were not perpetrated by the government. Those responsible for My Lai were prosecuted by the US government (did you know other US soldiers stopped the massacre, even threatening to shoot Calley's men) and while the VietCong occupied Hue for a month during the 1968 Tet Offensive they killed approx. 10,000 Vietnamese civilians (who was punished?). Yeah, I can certainly take notice of and pass judgement on Che's murderous record.
@jpb252 no, the people responible for the My Lai Massacre were not prosecuted, and by that statement, i can ssee you assumed your country did the right thing. 26 soldiers were charged with the mass murder of 347-504 unarmed civilians, but only one was senteced, William Calley. He only served 3 years of a life sentence. And with the incident on hill 192 (kidnapping, gang rape, murder of vietnamese women) one soldier was aquitted, one served 22 months, and two were sentenced to 8 years.
@jpb252 yes one soldier, a pilot tried to stop the Massacre. Ron Ridenhour, a member of C-Company, sent a letter detailing the events to Richard M. Nixon, the Pentagon, the State Department, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and numerous members of Congress. It was ignored. So don't sit there and say the U.S goverment had any intention of bringing My Lai to light, before it was revealed to the public by the press.
@KurtCobain198666 True, some in the army tried to cover up My Lai, but others (Schwartzkopf, a battalion commander at the time, among them) brought it to light. Granted that the punishment didn't fit the crime, but My Lai & Hill 192 pale in comparison to Viet cong attrocities for which no one was punished. But the bottom line is that Che is still a murderous Stalinist thug. You could have a true freedom fighter like Michael Collins (who fought you Brits) for a hero, why pick a Stalinist thug?
@jpb252 YOU'RE MISSING THE POINT! The americans can't condemn Che because of their human rights records! Is that hard to understand? And how dare you dictate who i should see as heroic you hypocrite! The assumption that Che is my only hero is a little patheitc. I also consider Rosa Parks, MLK, Malcolm X heroic. But oh, didn't your goverments politics put MLK and Rosa Parks into prison? Let's condemn the laws of Cuba in the 50's in comparison to the U.S's laws and policies. Hypocrites
@KurtCobain198666 Yes, considering that the US human rights record is head & shoulders above any red regime. I can't tell you who to admire, but I can sure point out that your chosen hero is murdering Stalinist thug and a loser to boot. Seems the USA has cleaned up their race problems while Fidel's Cuba continues to be a totalitarian hellhole. To paraphrase Joe Louis, "ain't nothin wrong with America that any commie's gonna fix."
@jpb252 cleaned up their race issues? So Rodney King was beaten by police in the 50's? Nope, that was the 90's. Have you been to Southern America? I have. It's still racist. And to quote a sportsman to back up the political activities of america-yeah great choice. Let's also quote Ali's comments on the Vietnam War, MLK's comments on the Vietnam War and so on. For every american that condone's the goverment's actions, you'll find just as many that condemn it.
@KurtCobain198666 Rodney King was beaten by police because he ran & fought, not because he was black. Che would have probably shot him. And in case you didn't know it, Che despised blacks.
@jpb252 it wasn't the fact that he was beaten, it was the level of which he was beaten. And even the U.S considered it a terrible act of violence, they sent two of the officers to jail for civil rights violations.. He was already on the floor while they continued to beat him. You say Che would've shot him, so yet again you're merely pointing out the U.S as the lesser of two evils, but evil none the less.
@jpb252 Ahh you're pointing to the fact that Che called blacks lazy? Yes, he called them lazy because they hadn't been fighting for there civil rights, he called them dreamers because Africas weren't industrialised, and blew there money, where as western men saved it. Thats not racism, thats observation. Africa is mainly an LEDC with poor economiv values. If he hated blacks, why did he have close black friends that fought in his column? Why did he chose to lead a revolution in the Congo.
@KurtCobain198666 ~~~he called them dreamers because Africas weren't industrialised, and blew there money, where as western men saved it. Thats not racism, thats observation~~~
You are spinning ches quote to fit your agenda,,first of all He didnt say "WESTERN man" he said the WHITE MAN.second of all he didnt call them lazy for not fighting for civil rights. Che was a racist! some blacks he found as USEFUL idiots, thats all.
@jpb252 yes, history has shown that Che hated blacks so much, that members of the Civil Rights Movement praised Castro and the Guerilla's for foward thinking when it came to rights. He hated blacks so much that Nelson Mandella described him as an 'inspiration for anybody who loves freedom.'
@KurtCobain198666 The officers were originally acquitted, but the re-tried for civil rights violations because of politics. It was a mockery of justice and a surrender to the mob. Mandela admired Che, is that surprising considering that Mandela was a communist? Che's observations about blacks were indeed racist, but most admirers of Che know only the image created by Fidel (after he sent him to his death), not the pathetic reality that was Che.
@jpb252 jpb again, what a surprise! the red neck know nothing know all, i suppose the holocaust never happened as well, and ronald reagan did not cheat and lie, and god will smite the communists any day now.
@birdandthe Your post referenced holocaust denial and accused Reagan of lying. Looking at the subject of this video, one would think you might want to say something about Che. But then most of Che's admirers know little about him beyond the image created by Fidel and resort to attacks on others in a vain attempt to justify Che's brutal record.
@jpb252 No apology then for your ridiculous statement about the Reichstag burning then invading Poland the next day !!! selective menory loss set in ? as for Holocaust denial is uggested yo uae a holocaust denier/ evolution denier/ everything left wing denier/ sort of the usual pacjkage, i ashked the question so you will have to ANSWER, if you want. As for Che i will have to look up some history, i have no doubt that your rants are missing out huge chunks of info.. see part two..
@birdandthe I never said the Nazis invaded Poland the day after they set fire to the Reichstag. There were years between those events. What people forget is that the Soviet Union invaded Poland shortly after the Germans and Hitler & Stalin divided Poland between them. What's surprising about Mandela admiring Che? Mandela was a communist and Che was a Stalinist thug.
@jpb252 YOU HAVE DELETED THE MESSAGE !!!! VERY CLEVER ( NOT ) WHY ARE YOU TELLING ME WHAT 95 % OF THE EDUCATED WORLD KNOW, THAT GERMANY AND RUSSIA INVADED POLAND ? WHAT POINT ARE YOU TRYING TO MAKE ABOUT MANDELA AND CHE GUVERA ? ARE YOU GOING TO DELETE ALL YOUR MISTAKES AND THEN DENY YOU EVER SAID THEM ?
@birdandthe Don't know what message you're talking about. I think you're getting posts on the two different videos confused. I make the point about Mandela because you said that Mandela admired Che, as if one communist admiring another gives Che credibility.
@jpb252 I think you are a big fat liar or you have mental problems, you have deleted the reichstag message or you have dementia, i never said mandela admired che, if you can find those words i will send you $10 and a cigar.
@jpb252 I think you are a big fat liar or you have metal problems, you have deleted the reichstag message or you have dementia, i never said mandela admired che, if you can find those words i will send you $10 and a cigar.
@jpb252 I think you are a big fat liar or you have mental problems, you have deleted the reichstag message or you have dementia, i never said mandela admired che, if you can find those words i will send you $10 and a cigar.
@jpb252 I dont have to accuse Reagan of lying he was FOUND OUT as a liar !! memory loss again ? remember the hilarious press conference wher he said he knew nothing about a detail of iran/Contra ? and there was a voice behind the curtains telling him he DIDENT know about the deatil !!! and later he had to admiit that he hadent been 'totally honest' of course he had the fall guy in Oliver North, outrageous lying and contempt for the voters intelligence !!!
@JDNWF66 Mandella is one of the few communists I have any respect for. I was suprised when there was no bloodbath when he took power and he actually stepped down voluntarily. As for Che, he was the scum of the earth and the sun shown a little brighter the day the Bolivian Rangers killed that murdering son-of-a-bitch.

VIVA CHE!!

I am sure anyone can find good angles on the likes of hitler and goebbels too for example you like goebbels quote.
kaimana00 1 year ago
@kaimana00 I would like to see both angles, as for the Goebells quote it hardly shows him in a good light as basically it shows him as a master trickster and liar, who showed only a very small part of the truth, like your video. Hitler did have his good points, he took Germany out of depression, and regained the annexed Sudetanland, and he liked children and animals ( german! ), also he mastrmined the slaughter of jews, gypsys, slavs, communists etc and invaded half of Europe.
birdandthe 1 year ago
@birdandthe Like i said if you want to see the other angle look at a PRO CHE VIDEO all sorts of" cough cough" propaganda as you will see praising him. kaimana00 1 year ago
@kaimana00 No i am not happy because you are still concentrating on the bad angle and ignoring the good stuff, like schools education and health which he started in the cuban war and continued after, now that regime is far from perfect but it was an improvement on the gangsters who ran Cuba before.

dont be ridiculous 70,000 cubans were victims of castro and che 2 million cubans left cuba within three years after your despotic tyrannical moron that you worship came to power more then 1 million+ more left since 1963 and with 40,000 leaving every year on average since 2000 and virtually no one coming in it stands to reason.
kaimana00 1 year ago
@kaimana00 the population of cuba in 1950 was 5,516,000. Take one million away, then 40,000 x 10 away from that (for the 40,000 that leave annually). And yet the population of Cuba today is 11,451,652. Figure that out for me. MrReco is right, don't use fake demographics to make a point.
KurtCobain198666 1 year ago
@KurtCobain198666 ~~the population of cuba in 1950 was 5,516,000~~
So what ,Remember cubas population was 7 million in 1960 ,did you notice the relatively small increases each decade since 1960? cubas population in january 2010 was 11,216,973. down from 11,400,000 in 2006 and about the same as in 2000 which was 11.2 million!!! It is no joke that tens of thousands of cubans leave cuba every year asides from maxing out the 20,000 quota per year (in U.S) many more go to mexico ....(Cont)
kaimana00 1 year ago
@kaimana00 I think it's funny that your favourite book is 'Exposing the Real Che' Author Rold Potts goes on to critique the book's "slightly schizophrenic tone" for meandering off into subject matter that has little to do with the book’s premise, while positing that the books seems "less an indictment of Guevara than the New York Times or John F. Kennedy. He uses language like 'jackass, bumbler, fool, and coward' without any sources to back it up, and yet you take it for truth?
KurtCobain198666 1 year ago
@KurtCobain198666 After going to mexico they generally come to the U.S. However , some go to europe, one was canek sanchez guevara (ches grandson) he left that castro and che hell hole ,and he has OPENLY criticized the castro regime. a system that his grandfather had a big part in helping to create.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
kaimana00 1 year ago
@KurtCobain198666
Whats wrong with humberto using terms like fool, jackass, COWARD for che that is what che was.
kaimana00 1 year ago
@kaimana00 so even though EVERY review of the book by Humberto has been highly negative, you still take it as a source? Read A Revolutionary Life by Jon Lee Anderson, The Sotry of Che Guevara by Lucía Álvarez de Toledo, and Companero: The Life and Death of Che Guevara by Jorge Castaneda. Those were my sources, not anything as weak as wikipedia.
KurtCobain198666 1 year ago
@KurtCobain198666~~~ so even though EVERY review of the book by Humberto has been highly negative, you still take it as a source~~~~
What do you mean by" EVERY REVIEW" ?? you wouldnt happen to be selective about that would you?
john lee anderson?? Sure the man spent over three years of his time researching about che in HAVANA straight from the ministry of che guevara.....what a JOKE!! get real.

kaimana00 1 year ago
@kaimana00 so basically, the only books that are reliable about Che are the ones that show him in the light you already percieve him in. Define dogmatic? And yet, the americans cling to leaders like JFK, who had a failed presidency, and verbally slate people from other countries, and get involved in affairs that don't concern them. If a country isn't run the way they like, they install a leader they agree with which means a leader they can dictate too, and will let them shove fingers in some pie
KurtCobain198666 1 year ago
@KurtCobain198666 It's funny to hear a Brit chiding Americans about interfering in another countries affairs. But the question remains, even if all the BS you throw out was true, how does that in any way justify Che helping Fidel establish the worst totalitarian regime in the western hemisphere?
jpb252 1 year ago
@jpb252 Again with the question of justification. When have i tried, in any of the posts, to bring to light justification? I'm just pointing out the hypocryisy of the U.S. Whether you like it or not, the U.S has funded dictators, and the funded a middle eastern militia as an anti-communist cell. They used the funds to gather arms and recruit extremists. They became Al-Qaeda.
KurtCobain198666 1 year ago
@KurtCobain198666 so because the US backed Afghans fighting the evil empire (USSR) and some of them later became Islamic terrorists no American can take note of Che's brutal reality? That doesn't make any sense. No matter how much lipstick you put on that pig, Che is still a Stalinist thug.
jpb252 1 year ago
@KurtCobain198666 ~~~~, the only books that are reliable about Che are the ones that show him in the light you already percieve him in. Define dogmatic?~~~~
Do you see how this can be the other way around?? I have another point to make to you... from the end of world war two till 1991 we had what you call the cold war the U.S.S.R was our chief opponent while the U.S and U.K was the chief countries that had to hold back the soviet imperialism....which is an equasion you fail to understand.
kaimana00 1 year ago
@kaimana00 oh right, so because my country and yours fought te soviet in proxy wars, we're the good guys? The chief communist countries involved were USSR, East Germany, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Poland, Romania and, until the early 1960s, Albania. You mght want to do the maths again. Held back communism from where? It had already spread a great deal, and didn't stop spreadiing until the 70's.
KurtCobain198666 1 year ago
@KurtCobain198666
You left out bulgaria, cuba (in angola ethiopia benin) nicaragua china n korea, vietnam. ~~Held back communism from where?~~~ lets see, south america ,el salvador ,nicaragua ,benin, ethiopia, mozambique grenada, south korea ,thailand, WESTERN EUROPE.
As far as the U.S funding dictators, that is true but in most cases the alternative would have been a communist loon what was the U.S and U.K supposed to do invade and overthrow the dictators?
kaimana00 1 year ago
@kaimana00 You funded Pol Pot so don't say that the U.S have tried to overthrow every communist goverment. You've only ever picked wars you could win. Stalin blatantly killed 20 million, and Mao killed 50 million but no wars were waged directly against them. But when communism comes to these smaller countries, you invade. Funny how the goverment got pissed when Castro nationalised United Fruit, but before that they were kissing his ass trying to kiss his ass to mantain there income.
KurtCobain198666 1 year ago
@KurtCobain198666 Although the US, to its shame, gave diplomatic support to Pol Pot, the US did not fund Pol Pot. Tell me, what country (unless directly attacked) wages a war it doesn't think it can win? Yeah, it's too bad the US didn't see Fidel for what he was earlier and it's shameful the way the US abandoned Brigade 2506 at Playa Girón. But no matter how you slice it, Che was still a murdering Stalinist thug.
jpb252 1 year ago
KurtCobain198666 1 year ago
@KurtCobain198666 In case you hadn't noticed, this video is about CHE. You can shovel your bullshit all day, but that doesn't make it true and you're the one who seems to think no one has a right to criticize Che unless they're as pure as Ceasar's wife. Get over it, the US has done more good for the world that any communist 'freedom fighter' (like Che) who speaks words of freedom, but brings nothing but tyranny.
jpb252 1 year ago
@jpb252 yes it about Che, and you're contiuously mssing my point. You defend your goverment, even though it's actions have killed hundreds of thousands of people. Therefore, you cannot defend one, and insult the other. It's the definiton of hypocrite. So my points were extremely valid
KurtCobain198666 1 year ago
@jpb252 Definiton of war: active hostility or contention; conflict; contest: a war of words. Who wages a war it doesn't think it can win? Didn't Castro wage war against a goverment backed by the U.S. Didn't Gandhi commit to a movement against the British Empire. Didn't MLK continually push for civil rights against a largely racist country and goverment. Not all wars are fought with guns. Ahh the Bay of Pigs, love the way you bring that up, another of Kennedy's failures
KurtCobain198666 1 year ago
@KurtCobain198666 Castro, Gandhi & MLK were convinced they could win. No one starts a war unless they think they can win. BTW, the only reason Pol Pot came to power was because of the communist victory (remember the US lost that war) in Indochina. How did that work out for them? What a shame the gutless leftists in America didn't have the stomach for the fight. And yes I can, and will, continue to help expose Che for the Stalinist pig that he was.
jpb252 1 year ago
@jpb252 Gandhi and MLK were fighting oppressive goverments. There were several times when MLK said that he thought they were never going to gain civill rights, I know that for a face because i'm reading his autobiography. But he carried on protesting because he had faith in doing the right thing. Sometimes he lost faith in the movement and turned to God. So yes people start wars, even if they think they can't win, if they know they're fighting for a just cause.
KurtCobain198666 1 year ago
@KurtCobain198666 A just cause, like the US fighting a cold war with the Soviet Union for 45 years? What a thrill the day the Berlin wall came down and the day the Romanians killed Ceaucescu. And when the USSR collapsed, never thought I would live to see it. Someday true freedom fighters will free Cuba, too. Not like those pigs Fidel & Che who spoke of freedom, but built a totalitarian hellhole that made Batista look like a boy scout.

Also you didnt pay attention to the discussion between myself and mr reco....mr reco was disputing the figure of executions carried out by castro and che which i said was 70,000 over the course of 20 years, he said it was 30,000...then i brought up the figures of cubans leaving the island which you tried to dispute UNSUCCESFULLY! even if the 11.45 million figure is right for 2010 then you still have a small increase of 200,000 in ten years that means alot of cubans are leavin
kaimana00 1 year ago
@MrReco12
I am surprised that you admit to 30,000 deaths by castro.
I have already told you the 20,000 figure is bogus concocted by none other then the brain secretions of your idol castro
kaimana00 1 year ago
Ah no, Castro has killed 30 000.(1959-1999) While Batista murdered 20 000 in seven years.
Chile was a peaceful democracy before Pinochet took over. Mr Salvador Allende refused to use violence on the conservatives( fascists in disguise) and he and his supporters paid for that mistake(pregnant women shot, women raped by dogs etc)
Castro and Che knew this, and acted accordingly.
MrReco12 1 year ago
@MrReco12 Because of Allende, Chile almost gets fucked and Chilean people would have died by starvation.I wont say pinochet was a saint(thats their follower´s work),but he clearly fixed economic issues in that time.

Come on
Most people agreed with Castro when he had Batista's thugs and torturers executed.
Also, their were no cheering crowds when Pinochet overthrew the man who had appointed him commander and chief and installed himself as dictator.
MrReco12 1 year ago
@MrReco12
How do you know MOST people agreed when castro had thousands of people executed including pregnent women and children?? its been attributed that pinochet had 3100 people killed, castro had 70,000 people killed in the 60s and 70s and yet you praise him like a silly minded shill!!
kaimana00 1 year ago
@kaimana00 because it was the cuban public that called for the death sentence. Che ordered 34 of Batista's officers be put infront of firing squads, all were guilty of crimes against humanity. Show me one document that supports the 'fact' that Che had one pregnant womam or child killed, other that that 'exposing the real che guevara' crap, which recieved nothing but pitiful reviews. Even the U.S goverment is ashamed of aiding and funding Batista and called it a huge mistake.
KurtCobain198666 1 year ago
@KurtCobain198666~~~~ because it was the cuban public that called for the death sentence. Che ordered 34 of Batista's officers be put infront of firing squads~~~~
How do you come to that conclusion? che set up U.M.A.P camps mistreating Homosexuals religious people and others deemed undesirable in cuba even castro just recently ADMITTED TO THE MISTREATMENT GIVEN TO HOMOSEXUALS UNDER HIS REGIME....prior to that shills like you would always dismiss those charges....when will you wise up?
kaimana00 1 year ago
@kaimana00 oh the hypocrisy. Wasn't homosexuality illegal in the U.S in the 50's? It wasn't until 1973 when the American Psychiatric Association removed homosexuality from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, negating its previous definition of homosexuality as a clinical mental disorder. Same sex 'activity' didn't become legal in the U.S until 2003. Weren't black people still being lynched in the 50's in the U.S? Can you afford to discuss human rights?
KurtCobain198666 1 year ago
@KurtCobain198666 How does mistaken early US support for Batista (Eisenhower later slapped an arms embargo on Batista) justify Fidel & Che turning Cuba into a totalitarian hellhole? One could say the bigger US mistake was not recognizing Fidel for the communist he was and assisting his takeover to the detriment of the Cuban people. It's funny how many 'democratic reformers' backed by the American left have turned out to be tyrants.
jpb252 1 year ago
@jpb252 it's not just Batsita though. The U.S gave Omar al-Bashir $1 billion in military aid. Parade listed 20 worst dictators, and found that the U.S funded 19 of them. In North Korea, Belarus, Ethiopia, Swaziland, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan the U.S. contributed more than 20 percent of the total aid these countries received from OECD countries. 100,000 people were murdered in South Korea prior to the Korean War by a brutal repression supported by US forces in 1945. There's more but oh well.
KurtCobain198666 1 year ago
@KurtCobain198666 So you seriously contend that the US record on human rights is worse than the reds? Do you actually think Syngman Rhee was worse than Kim Il Sung? And to pretend that a Stalinist thug like Che was some kind of champion of freedom is just delusional.

KurtCobain198666 1 year ago
@jpb252 by the way, there are many forms of communism- trostkyism, maoism,, stalinism, guevarism, castroism and so on. Che never leant towards Stalinism in his life, and never expressed it through his actions. He was a Marxist Leninist, who sympathised more with the PRC than the did the UUSR, which then caused him to be branded Maoist, but he was always Marxist Leninist. Even wikipedia, a ridiculous source, manages to get his political leanings right.
KurtCobain198666 1 year ago
@KurtCobain198666 Che was indeed a Stalinist (he was even known to sign his name as Stalin II). He only broke with the Soviet Union and leaned toward Mao after Khruschev's de-Stalinization, which he considered revisionist. A murdering thug by any other name is still a murdering thug.
jpb252 1 year ago
@jpb252 and yes, i do think the human rights record is worse than the reds, because of it's self righteousness. The u.s civilians don't realise what it's goverment does. The only difference between Stalin/Lenin, and Nixon and Johnson, is that Nixon and Johnson killed hundreds of thousands of foriegn civilians rather than there own. But technically, with the opression, murder and terrible treatment of afro-americans from the 60's back, the U.S DID kill many of her own people.
KurtCobain198666 1 year ago
@KurtCobain198666 So poor race relations in the US somehow justify communist tyranny and murder? Even your specious claim that the US murdered thousands of foreign civilians doesn't justify Che's murderous record. The sun shown a little brighter the day the Bolivian Rangers killed that son-of-a-bitch.
¡Abajo Comunismo!
¡Viva Cuba Libre!
jpb252 1 year ago
@jpb252 Poor race relaitons? Is that how you justify invading countries, stealing natural recourses, and destroying places of worship of their national religion? I define it as actions of greed, barbarism, theft and tyranny. Youtube 'u.s soldiers destroy mosque'
KurtCobain198666 1 year ago
@KurtCobain198666 So what counrty did the US invade to 'steal' their natural resources? If you receive fire from a mosque, too bad for the building. Of course it's the fault of the US soldiers, not the guys who decided to shoot from the mosque. Am still trying to figure out how your anti-American rant somehow justifies Che's (may he rot and burn in hell) murderous record.
jpb252 1 year ago
@jpb252 the U.S, after its years of installing dictatorships and puppet goverments, it's years of lynching it's civilians while denying them basic human rights, years of waging self righteous wars, covering up war crimes (my lai massacre, incident on hill 192), does not have the moral high ground to pass judgement on Guevara.
KurtCobain198666 1 year ago
@KurtCobain198666 Lynchings in the US were not perpetrated by the government. Those responsible for My Lai were prosecuted by the US government (did you know other US soldiers stopped the massacre, even threatening to shoot Calley's men) and while the VietCong occupied Hue for a month during the 1968 Tet Offensive they killed approx. 10,000 Vietnamese civilians (who was punished?). Yeah, I can certainly take notice of and pass judgement on Che's murderous record.
jpb252 1 year ago
@jpb252 no, the people responible for the My Lai Massacre were not prosecuted, and by that statement, i can ssee you assumed your country did the right thing. 26 soldiers were charged with the mass murder of 347-504 unarmed civilians, but only one was senteced, William Calley. He only served 3 years of a life sentence. And with the incident on hill 192 (kidnapping, gang rape, murder of vietnamese women) one soldier was aquitted, one served 22 months, and two were sentenced to 8 years.
KurtCobain198666 1 year ago
@jpb252 yes one soldier, a pilot tried to stop the Massacre. Ron Ridenhour, a member of C-Company, sent a letter detailing the events to Richard M. Nixon, the Pentagon, the State Department, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and numerous members of Congress. It was ignored. So don't sit there and say the U.S goverment had any intention of bringing My Lai to light, before it was revealed to the public by the press.
KurtCobain198666 1 year ago
@KurtCobain198666 True, some in the army tried to cover up My Lai, but others (Schwartzkopf, a battalion commander at the time, among them) brought it to light. Granted that the punishment didn't fit the crime, but My Lai & Hill 192 pale in comparison to Viet cong attrocities for which no one was punished. But the bottom line is that Che is still a murderous Stalinist thug. You could have a true freedom fighter like Michael Collins (who fought you Brits) for a hero, why pick a Stalinist thug?
jpb252 1 year ago
@jpb252 YOU'RE MISSING THE POINT! The americans can't condemn Che because of their human rights records! Is that hard to understand? And how dare you dictate who i should see as heroic you hypocrite! The assumption that Che is my only hero is a little patheitc. I also consider Rosa Parks, MLK, Malcolm X heroic. But oh, didn't your goverments politics put MLK and Rosa Parks into prison? Let's condemn the laws of Cuba in the 50's in comparison to the U.S's laws and policies. Hypocrites
KurtCobain198666 1 year ago
@KurtCobain198666 Yes, considering that the US human rights record is head & shoulders above any red regime. I can't tell you who to admire, but I can sure point out that your chosen hero is murdering Stalinist thug and a loser to boot. Seems the USA has cleaned up their race problems while Fidel's Cuba continues to be a totalitarian hellhole. To paraphrase Joe Louis, "ain't nothin wrong with America that any commie's gonna fix."
jpb252 1 year ago
@jpb252 cleaned up their race issues? So Rodney King was beaten by police in the 50's? Nope, that was the 90's. Have you been to Southern America? I have. It's still racist. And to quote a sportsman to back up the political activities of america-yeah great choice. Let's also quote Ali's comments on the Vietnam War, MLK's comments on the Vietnam War and so on. For every american that condone's the goverment's actions, you'll find just as many that condemn it.
KurtCobain198666 1 year ago
@KurtCobain198666 Rodney King was beaten by police because he ran & fought, not because he was black. Che would have probably shot him. And in case you didn't know it, Che despised blacks.
jpb252 1 year ago 7
@jpb252 it wasn't the fact that he was beaten, it was the level of which he was beaten. And even the U.S considered it a terrible act of violence, they sent two of the officers to jail for civil rights violations.. He was already on the floor while they continued to beat him. You say Che would've shot him, so yet again you're merely pointing out the U.S as the lesser of two evils, but evil none the less.
KurtCobain198666 1 year ago
@jpb252 Ahh you're pointing to the fact that Che called blacks lazy? Yes, he called them lazy because they hadn't been fighting for there civil rights, he called them dreamers because Africas weren't industrialised, and blew there money, where as western men saved it. Thats not racism, thats observation. Africa is mainly an LEDC with poor economiv values. If he hated blacks, why did he have close black friends that fought in his column? Why did he chose to lead a revolution in the Congo.
KurtCobain198666 1 year ago
@KurtCobain198666 ~~~he called them dreamers because Africas weren't industrialised, and blew there money, where as western men saved it. Thats not racism, thats observation~~~
You are spinning ches quote to fit your agenda,,first of all He didnt say "WESTERN man" he said the WHITE MAN.second of all he didnt call them lazy for not fighting for civil rights. Che was a racist! some blacks he found as USEFUL idiots, thats all.
kaimana00 1 year ago
@jpb252 yes, history has shown that Che hated blacks so much, that members of the Civil Rights Movement praised Castro and the Guerilla's for foward thinking when it came to rights. He hated blacks so much that Nelson Mandella described him as an 'inspiration for anybody who loves freedom.'
KurtCobain198666 1 year ago
@KurtCobain198666 The officers were originally acquitted, but the re-tried for civil rights violations because of politics. It was a mockery of justice and a surrender to the mob. Mandela admired Che, is that surprising considering that Mandela was a communist? Che's observations about blacks were indeed racist, but most admirers of Che know only the image created by Fidel (after he sent him to his death), not the pathetic reality that was Che.

@birdandthe I never said the Nazis invaded Poland the day after they set fire to the Reichstag. There were years between those events.
