YOu don't really have to tuck to do backflip. Trust me because i never learn to tuck my leg. I can back pike it.. The whole idea was to jump as high as you can, because if you don't, you will not land on your feet. You must not be scare to jump otherwise you not learn this moves. Jump straight up into the air not back..
No.. You don't release when you see the floor or you'll land flat on your face... release when you see the lower part of the wall, or the spot at which you started looking at... That is the problem i had at first... releasing too early.. I have to see the wall before i release.. and thats the way i teach all of the gymnasts and cheerleaders i coach...
i usually dont learn uch or get that much advice but it was really helpful how he said think of a uptuck, i see these problems and w/e blah blah blah lol

you cant hold your legs until you land, you have to let go when you see the ground. but otherwise, very helpful!

=/ You kind of have to let go of your actual tuck before you hit the ground. You can't land holding onto your legs.
:-p And who actually looks at a point on the wall? When I do mine I just kind of look forward it works just the same
