To my knowledge their language "hopelandic" is based on icelandic and actually has icelandic words in it in a random order. So it's kind of semi-icelandic then. The sentences just have little to no meaning. :)

Yes, they try a mixture of icelandic and some randam noises of their own. I believe they have puro some icelandic lyrics in one of two of their songs.
