The melodious beginning by Aparna ji followed by the mesmerizing cooperation between the 40 Tablas, and the whipping end, gets a well disserved standing ovation by the overwhelmed crowd!

It must have taken weeks of intense preparation on both the Guruji's part as well as the students to prepare for such a spectacular performance. I was amazed by the wonderful tabla playing by Shantilal Shah and his talented students. From the start, the tantalizing singing set the scene and created the perfect background and rhythm for the students to follow; a beautiful mix of voice and percussion defined the performance. From young to old, every student displayed his or her talents and was able to play in harmony and on the beat -the fruition of years of practice and motivation by their Guru.
An audio-visual delight! Great vocals, sound, stage arrangement, and colors. Clearly, a tremendous amount of effort has gone into teaching and coordinating this large class with such a range of ages. Congratulations Shantilalji. Texas needs you. The world needs you!
