Virginia Tornado June 4

I live in Richmond virginia never saw a tornado

I remember my window in my room was broken and I went upstairs to see if we could fix it, and that was when I saw the shelf cloud! I was at school that day and they wouldn't let us out of school. And down to the basement I went that night! Scary stuff there!!!

I lived in the woods when this happened when one of the trees fell it was loud and I kinda jumped and I went to see what it was because I didn't know a tree fell next to the house and one of my friends was stupid and got locked out his own house he didn't know the door was locked when he walked outside to see what we were doing and me my brother and my dad were outside that day during this storm getting the tree out the yard we were using the saws we didn't have a chain saw. :(

Real intelligent, making fun of this situation. Luckily no one was killed when this struck our neighborhood. However peoples lives were affected, homes demolished, memories lost. So even though you're being an ass and making fun of this I hope you never experience what we went through that night. Two years later there is still evidence of the damage and some homes are still undergoing repairs.

Yep, This hit my house, took my garage. My kids & i were in the bath tub. Then two weeks later, it hits again, my daughter saw it ! Thank the lord we werent hurt.

i went to myrtle beach in late april and we drove to virginia on our way back and we got there 20 minutes after 3 tornadoes hit and we were on the road tht the tornadoes went down. it was scary as hell

If one more person says this is a shelf cloud i am going to go crazy...I live there in stafford, down the street from that road and that was an F3 TORNADO. they said it all over the news all week and it tore down an entire neighborhood of houses in England Run behind my house. If you dont live in the area and didnt know what went on, dont act like a freakn meterologist saying its a shelf cloud and argue with the people who actually were here.

The people acting like meteorologists probably are meteorologists, and this is the shelf cloud portion of the storm, the wall cloud can be under the shelf cloud.

im not bein a jerk, or actin like i know everything about weather, but because the storm was moving toward you, thats a "roll cloud", and it looks like its near the ground because of the distance and curvature of the storm.

what you see in the beginning is a wall cloud, but the tornado touches down at the end - that's when I got the he11 outta there! Google it - it was an F1

My family and I were across the street at Tiger Martial Arts. We were leaving when we saw it coming. Everyone had to take cover in the bathrooms. It was an incredible sight but I'd rather see it a little further away and not on top of us. Cool video!!
