5FM used to be a great station but started sucking big time soon as they got rid of the stalwart dj's like Alex Jay, have switched to where better music and better dj's are to be found and haven't looked back since, the 5FM ads are either esoterically stupid or just plain crap
I was actually looking for the origional 5Fm Advert (when they changed the name ever so slightly)... The one with 'You Ain't seen nothing yet' song in. Anyone remember it...? Even better if you can post it ! B-b-b-b-baby
Radio 5 was never as good as Capital 604. They just had the SABC funding that Independent radio didnt and who had to broadcast from bantustans. If it wasnt for Capital Radio groups like The Police would never have broken South Africa. Radio 5 just jumped on the bandwagon.

funny you should mention that... the girl who slides along the bench(who is in this version white...) had to be reshot at considerable cost to 5fm, with a black girl(a very expensive oversite)
