operation flashpoint is a waste of money believe me i had it, i'm addicted to Fallout3 so i would say to get that but it depends if your into games like that though (abit like Elder Scrolls but high tech), borderlands just doesn't look as good as all the hype its getting so i would say fallout3

fallout 3 isn't going to be a hardcore shooter think of it like a MMO but with guns/ some melee. the game takes a while to develop its not a "within 20 minutes im super powered" think more like Oblivion with guns. The game will last a LONG time. Border lands is essentially fallout3 but focuses on the shooting more then the adventuring/leveling. If your going to get an Army game MW2 is your best bet for all out shooter, and Flash-point is more tactical shooter. hope this helps
