I have a copy of the book. It belonged to my father's mother and she gave it to him when he was a boy. He gave it to me when I was a little girl--and I treasure it! What a precious story about a precious Saviour!

@gthamban You should also explore the missing gospels that were omitted by previous men of government and religion for advancement of their position of power or influence. Always keep your mind open to God's word...or truth...there are many "churches" belonging to the Abraham's religions. No one man can truly in his heart believe that his own religion is 100% truthful and anyone from a different church or religion is misguided. If that were the case then we would all be wrong on some aspect.....

Peace is the absence of thought and in that space of silence...know the breath you take is "you" feeling life, love and God. We all feel it and we are just as connected to God as anyone else.....no matter what they believe. It is our job to try to embrace as many as we can and stay OPEN to God to guide us...ALL....or we can continue to kill in God's name for what we personally desire; power, strength, influence, manifest destiny or from other countries extremists.. “American infidels”. All I'm saying is we can only find the answer together, across all religions, as God's children. Never believe without question.
the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints already produced a cartoon based on this story, and it aired on television in 1989 or 90. I saw that film, and it was better than the story told without any pictures or animation.
The most memorable moment for me was when I saw Artaban dying and agonizing, and the Lord's voice answering him
@lolitaphile I saw that movie on TV and taped it but then lost the copy and I have never been able to find it since.....I have looked everywhere online for a copy, emailed the LDS Deseret Books in Salt Lake but it is no longer available. It was the best one I haver ever seen as well.........
@novarone72 I taped it too; but then out of stupidness, I recorded something else over it days later. However I never forgot its title: THE OTHER WISE MAN, not "the fourth wise man"
@lolitaphile yes you are correct, it is called The Other Wise Man, same story of Artaban but animated, it is such a terrific version of this really profound story and great for the kids. I just lost it or maybe someone borrowed it and never gave it back. I am devastated as I cant find it anywhere, not even online :( maybe they will play it on tv again this year, I have looked every year with no luck.
@novarone72 You can get it for free. It on a a DVD entitled "Stories of Christmas." There are four stories on the DVD including "The Story of the Other Wise Man." The missionaries of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints gave me a copy. It is free. Call the church where you live and they will get one to you.
@jamesdduncan1 yes thank you I found it at the distribution centre at our local temple on the dvd you mentioned. I had to pay for my copy but it was so worth it!
