@n8samo Well late jan. early feb they start to lose their antlers. This year it seems that they are losing early, allready found a matching pair, but they lose their antlers and start growing them again for next deer season, reason being the rut, proving dominance. Happens every year for the life of the deer which is about 5 years average

Good luck on that bigun next year! About a week ago a buddy seen what he thought was a doe sniffin another doe's you know what, got out the binocs and the other doe was a buck, just 2 boody spots where he had shed.

Wow, really cool. You said that scored around a 69? Haha, thats what my grandpa's whole 9 pointer scored! But thats Vermont for ya. My grandpa and I are starting to scout his land for hunting (he has never hunted on it for some reason) and I've got a big buck and 2 smaller bucks located on his 30 acres.
