You paved the way for the BadBoys '92... There was a lot of inspiration from the many years past.. If you look at the last part of the drill when the whole team did the spin with the "rifle around the wrist" trick, that was a routine that I remember RayG did (more freestyle) during a concept discussion you guys had back in 89 during practice.
Listen to the comment at 3:03 where some guy says "it's so old, they bite".., my brother Armando, (87 Bal Drill Team Commander) shot back with, "Bal's original, the rest bite!", Great defense from big bro. Plus, I should know as I made up most of the moves in these drills!
This was a great drill with a lot of new routines, risky exchanges and whole team aerial spins. Check out the Final Ripple Exchange (called the Bigger Dick Exchange).. the similar move in the previous Liberty Bell competition where the whole team did it insync was actually harder to execute.
yeah, you guys definitely put the "ohh shit" in risky exchanges. back when i made the Liberty Bell 88 drill, the dropped rifle in the previous 91st competition stuck in mind, so i kept the risk to a minimum: the circle exchange, upgrading the stack arms from standard 3 to 6 rifles(which made it safer to stack actually)
this was the year Bal took back the Tree..
1st Place Boys
2nd Place Girls
1st Place Drill Platoon... yeah

that's funny, cause i caught the wrist spin and thought "hey, that's Ray's wRist." nice touch.
