If I were to call them both hardcore, I'd be calling them the same genre of music, when there is a MASSIVE difference. Post-Hardcore rarely has any actual hardcore influences, and the genre as a whole is usually full of shite bands. Not that I'm saying ALL Post-Hardcore bands are shite, but from what I've heard it's far from a gold mine for musical excellence.

Whitechapel is one of the VERY FEW deathcore (if you wanna call them that, but who cares about labels?) bands that I listen to, and I love them, but you have to admit that unfortunately, Phil is starting to lose his voice. He's still good and it matches the music, but he's not as good as he was in The Somatic Defilement, and he now has to use computers every now and then :( It's quite sad actually, but I still love em'
