  • Comment removed

  • wtf, what a Pip-boy ripoff. fuck bioshock

  • @YaiBugy

BioShock came out before Fallout 3... and what do you mean by "Pip-Boy ripoff"?

  • @M4ST3RL1NKX88 nicely put, bioshock came out before fallout THREE. the pip-boy/'plasmid' concept was already used in fallout 1 and 2. google pip boy if u dont know what it is.

  • @YaiBugy

I know what a Pip-Boy is. It's the little wrist PDA-like thing that's like the basic menu in the Fallout series. But how is this a knockoff?

  • @M4ST3RL1NKX88 the pip-boy ads and the fallout game propaganda is the exact same as we see here: 60's-style-black-and-white-ironic-cartoon-retro-projections.

  • @YaiBugy Good job knowing your facts there buddy, phenomenal really.

  • @Greyfoxen trolled

  • @YaiBugy Doesn't remove the fact you're a cunt little faggot. Fuck yourself buddy.

  • @Greyfoxen your eloquence amazes me.

  • @YaiBugy And blocked because you're such a cool "troll", get a life kid, get your ass off 4chan and get laid faggot.

  • @Greyfoxen tolled to every bit of your core LOL

  • @YaiBugy >LOL JOKES ON YOU I WAS ONLY PRETENDING TO BE RETARDED

Yeah, no. Get the fuck out.

  • @gamekidillon12 who are you?

  • @YaiBugy ... I'm Dillon. I'm the one who replied to your comment, remember?

  • @gamekidillon12 oh allright

  • these plasmid cartoons are 1 of reasons i started playing

  • isnt that sortof like hudini in the bioshock 2 multiplayer? but who cares, i love feeling the raw power of elemental plasmids such as Incinerate!3, Electro Bolt3, and Winter Blast3.

  • Scout?

    ...Need a Dispenser Here!

  • good i love bioshock got both of em and they are the most scariest and best games ever played if you ask me

  • fallout 3 all over

  • They are going to be making Bioshock 3,4 & 5!!! Also they are going to make Bioshock the movie!!!!

    Cant wait.

  • I have heard talk of a bioshok movie..

  • @chuckchizzle

yeh its been officially announced. The movie is gonna be released in 2011, same year as bioshock 3 will be launched.

  • a bioshock 3 is possible and the movie to

    but a 4 and 5?

    dont think so...

  • @TheArneShow

    google search: bioshock 3, 4 & 5. you'll see a statement from the President of 2K Marin. movie & bioshock 3...definately.

  • @SupaSix1 Are you serious!? If they make a bioshock movie that would be so fucking bad ass!! I would see it!

  • Need a dispenser here

  • ooh I would like to sneak up on people and burn them in real life

  • i love it how it says "sexual themes" when nothing in the game has anything sexual related to it

  • Well Siren Alley does...

  • how? when? i don't remember going though that level with any sex at ALL, not even nudity

  • Listen to the tape diaries in Siren Alley...it was a place that turned to prostitution.

  • lol, ok, i see....

  • How about the scene with the splicer hooker?

  • @zppzxoox really? wtf?

  • The female splicer is lightly dressed, and the male splicer is

    negotiating the price

holy crap what have youtube done with the comment system? I cant even see what I am writing

  • @vicskyline9 actually there's a scripted scene in Siren Alley where you can see a male splicer dragging away a female it goes like:

    "Get your hands OFF me!"

    "I got plans for you!!"

"You can't do this to me!! HELPPPP!!!"

Also, there's another where you walk into two Splicers about to have sex and another looking in on them from a peep room. XD

  • lol the world of rapture so fucked up

  • maybe i should have gotten it

  • If they actually made this the game would be too easy.

  • they actually did make this in the game. i barely ever use it though....only like 3 times.

  • The scout plasmid actually really blows

  • Bullshit dude.

  • I have all the achievements and beat the game 3 times, once on each difficulty, and still couldn't find a use for it it sucks

  • this plasmid is my best friend :D

  • wait thats what scout does? HOLY CRAP O.o

  • can you upgrade scout to get a metal baseball bat that goes BONK! when you hit someone?

  • hehe valve reference

  • im going to gamestop soon XD

  • scout lol i thought tf2

  • awsome

  • wait...you can send in an invisible copy that can use plasmids? fuken cool.

  • lol bioshock is based of System shock 2 and everyone knows it. fallout isnt even close. ony the timeperiod

  • @MDFKAAA Dude systm shock 2 is old and in space....but their are some same stuff

  • @MDFKAAA its not based off system shock 2. the same guys made the game. and fallout is a completly different game.

  • So a game about how social structure got fucked up in an under water city is based on System Shock 2?

    Get the fuck out.

  • no its the spiritual successor of system shock in its look and feel even the developers said that

  • @Ejay669

    Actually, Yeah! :D

The BioShock Series is nothing but a spiritual sequel for the System Shock Series!: :D

You can even see the "Happy Noodle" add in BIoShock 1 in Fort Frolic that appears on the begining of System Shock 2!

Saying it's based on SS 2 though, it's outrageous!!

The gameplay may bear a strong resemblance... But that's it.

The history of each other is waaaay apart.

Howevah... I'm thankfull the Audio Diaries are still THAR!! :D :D :D

  • @Ejay669 spiritual sucsessor means when you play it fells similar to the other game

  • Don't wait... INCINERATE!

  • Actually you are all discussing who copied who. The fact is that they BOTH copied from the same source.

Vault Boy (not Pip Boy that's the computer thats on your arm), was based on the Moneybags Monopoly character and the Big Boy restaurant mascot that started in 1936.

So if anything they both copied from the same time line and the artwork from the 1930-1950's all looked like that.

Who cares who copied who. Namco Copied Galaxian from Taito's Space invaders if you want to split hairs..

  • Daaaaamn this game will be so freakin amazing. I'm so excited to play it!

  • I just came ..

  • bioshock and fallout 3 are both very amazing games i cant wait for bioshock 2

  • Bioshock came later then Fallout sure, but that means fallout helped evolve one of the best games to offer

  • I am so happy 2K Australia was a part of Bioshock. GO AUSTRALIA

  • I'm afraid that's not accurate.

Fallout 3 is from Bethesda Softworks, while BioShock was made by Irrational Games (aka 2K Boston). BioShock 2 is being developed by 2K Marin.

  • @BluesNewsDotCom your right but i understand why he would think that. theres a two pack of bioshock and oblivion that come together and oblivion is made by 2k. bioshock is NOT made by the creaters of fallout 3 though

  • @mee988 I swear that comment just made me lolmao

  • @mee988 r u stupid?

  • rmeinds me of fallout pipboy

  • thought i should let you know fallout 3 came after the first bioshock..

  • fuck off smartass. DUHHHHH

  • What's a tricky plasmid !!!

  • awesome.

  • Awesome, but I hope they make this plasmid hard to get or hard to use, because you can hack turrets, hypnotize enemies and lay traps, all while being invisible ( States the "Cult of Rapture" blog ).

Also, I would love to see a nerfed version in multiplayer.

  • yea like 1 where its literally jut a scout plasmid- u can see whats ahead b4 u go in- spy kinda.... or maybe just hack thigs... but not attac people that would be unfair

  • @marcster1994...agreed the capture the little sister gameplay looks hella fun

  • Boichock 2's multiplayer won't be revolutionary but it will be fun regardless

  • exactly!!!

  • to me it will

  • Gamertag SUBJECTxDELTA must add. Xbox360

  • i have no idea how anyone could sit there and compare bioshock to mw2. there is absolutely no basis for comparison

  • Stolen

  • What do you mean by "stolen?"

  • Let's hope it isn't nooby in multiplayer. 2K Marin should leave a few plasmids as campaign-only to limit cheap deaths.

  • @iEAT0rphans It's not in multiplayer only in single :)

  • Good.

I bet i'll have more fun with Bioshock 2 multiplayer than CoDMW2's multiplayer. I'm seriously aggravated by shotgun-camping riot shield-using cocky uneducated twerps with absolutely no sense of what fair gameplay is what-so-ever. MW2 is overrated, but the Bioshock series is a true work of art & talent.

  • @iEAT0rphans I have heard serious complaints from IGN and other reviewers as well as players that the multiplayer in MW2 is unbalanced (Shrug)

  • it is i agree.Mw2 isnt even that good

  • theres also the terrible maps- which are for some reason extremley friendly to spawn campers- or just offer cheap camping spots in general- probably because that all the people at infinity ward do. theres also the models- which they lied about upating. and the m16/famas which takes so much damn skill with no recoil and a 1 burst kill. so damn balanced. i also really enjoy the fact that nothing is bullet proof- not even steel bunkers or military sand bags. but u cant shoot through trees!!!

  • @CrappSlayer You make perfect scene :)

  • hahahahaha your so right

  • @RKLshinobi Hey, it's not my opinion just other peoples so you better actually think about what the comment says before you start making yourself look like a child.

  • @djeminescu well you could stop trolling this video and actually go to a forum or just stay on your own channel you vexatious fool

  • @RKLshinobi Hey, people are replying to my comments and I should reply to them to be polite and there is no need to keep complaining.

  • whats not in multiplayer?

  • @teamfortress2masta This plasmid, it's only in single player.

  • oh ok haha i thought you meant bio 2 wasnt online

  • this one has multipayer

  • @CrappSlayer What?

  • Fallout much?

  • @Eatsheepplz I don't see the resemblance.

  • Really? Try checking out some of the trailers for Fallout 1 & 2

  • Yeah, but it seems like they are making fun of the 30's and 40's advertisements.

It really irks me when I see people saying Bioshock copied Fallout. Pipboy and the Plasmid advertisements are two different things.

  • Oh yeah, I'm not saying BioShock copied fallout as a whole. They're different franchises, and I agree that the resemblances can be blamed on the time setting.

But this, I mean, looking at the thumbnail you couldn't tell them apart. "Evolve Today!" - If anything it seems like it might be an homage.

  • @Riseofthepoorkids i know!!! and fallout is in the future bioshock is during the 50's through the 60's and the city was built in 1946

  • @darkriku2464 fallout is in the future? then whys all the music 1940's/1950's? :/

  • @TheBoyAtmospheric because thats just the style they wanted. it tells in the begining of fallout 3 and falllout the date which is 2557

  • I was expecting a 'Bonk' or something. Cool idea, can't wait.

  • I can't help but think this isn't worth taking up a plasmid slot. Surely you're better off having something else and running at enemies then running away again than you are using a slot (or the adam necessary to buy one) up on doing exactly that? I'd buy a health related tonic instead if I was worried about getting a kicking.

Though of course that's the beauty of the range of powers available, I might think it's worthless but someone else might find it fits their play style perfectly.

  • Clever little plasmid there. Wonder what else they have up their sleeve?

  • Brute splicers?

  • Now thats what we needed in thee first one
