  • I really like this.

  • lol XD the absentee one no image available

  • oh god... retail is sooooo hard... the horror... i'm glad i have a nice easy job like air traffic control in the marine corps so i don't have to deal with that kind of stress anymore.

  • For every customer who says something good about your store, 5 other potential customers will hear about it.

For every customer who says something bad about your store, 100 other potential customers will hear about it.

    But don't listen to me.

I'm management and what I say doesn't count.

  • OMG i agree with this 100%. Retail sucks, customers suck so bad!! Especially the ghetto ones that want everything for a cheaper price!! They go into stores expecting great customer service but they can't even smile at you nor spend $12 on something just because they want it for $10. DUMBASSES!CHEAP! GO TO HELL!

Oh yeah, I LOVE RETAIL! :)

  • Haha i know right if they are going to spend 10 WTF is another two bucks really come on I freakin swear once they walk through the door they lose their dam minds!!

  • wow i agree with averything lol working in reatil is a lot of fun but also horrible especially when u scan something and t he customers insist they saw it for a cheaper prise also when they want u to put all the close folded! inside the bag i mean sometimes uc ant cause theres a long ass line!

  • Two words.......

    RETAIL SUCKS!!!!!!

Customers are NOT always right. Who ever said that should have been shot! Customers are stupid. I am legally blind, and I can sometimes stuff faster then the customer who can't open his eyes.

  • When told.... "Um. No...." he started screaming about how he was a "regular customer" who bought "thousands of dollars worth of books every year" and we would "be sorry that we would lose his business".

Yeahhhhh... Mr. Money-bags spent "thousands of dollars every year on books" but was so cheap that he wouldn't replace his natty old computer books at his own expense? Riiiiight....

  • I also love the "Well I came here last time and 4 other cashiers did it" line

Sir just because 4 others broke store policy doesn't mean I have to do it to. Man people are stupid.

  • It transpired that these were 3 year old books which he wished to return because they were obsolete. Apparently, it was our fault that technology had advanced in three years and we should, quite reasonably, give him free books to replace the old ones.

  • Ah, yes... "I bought this three years ago and it broke."

I worked in Barnes and Noble clone in Canada. A "customer" came in armed with a large pile of obviously dog-eared computer books (which could have been mistaken as store stock as many of our books, especially the computer books, looked this was after having been read 50,000 times by "customers").

  • lol

  • God created gentils so there'd always be someone buying retail...

  • Way to shoot for the stars.

  • supervisor is the same as employee except that you have to do things to your co-workers that even the soulless manager feel bad about doing , for the same pay

  • Trusting a manager is like believing in Santa Claus. Ha!

Congrats for lasting so long at the same retail joint; I couldn't survive that long at one job. I naively think that one day I'll find the retail job that doesn't make me want to stab myself in the eye.

  • BRAVO! How true it all is.
