  • Hi I got one of these. I am curretly starting to use this in my own music production. BTW. is there any way to connect this to the PC?

  • Hi. There is just a 1/4" Head-Phone Jack. But this sufficent.

    thanks for watching

  • @Raunchola There must be a wire to connect the organ to the pc:) using that jack...would it be still available in stores? *the wire*

  • Hmm... i'm using a cable. on one end is the 6,3mm Plug (which goes to the keyboard) and on the other end is a 3,5mm plug (which goes into the soundcard).

you can buy this type of cable in most sotres with electronics

  • @Raunchola thanks, well the adaptor is on my side, so I'll have to buy that wire:)

  • just stupid question, what does circuit bent mean?

  • It's simple: you open up a musical device (in this case a yamaha-keyboard). Then you take a piece of wire and short circuit some of the soldering-spots on the circuit-board. (mostly where these black chips are).

eventually you get sounds unprovided for this device. And that's the excitement of circuit-bending.

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOW Thats GREAT!!!! I think i need one of these for my own .. ;) 5 Stars and tomorrow again :)

  • Hey, vielen Dank! ^^

  • This machine sounds ace. I bent one of these but it sounds quite differnt. Nothing resembles it's original sound, but it is well lively.

  • thanks.

are you gonna upload a video of it? ;)

  • This is one of the best keyboard bends i have ever hear, great performance too.

I think the PSS 280/290/380/390 should be noted as the best bendable keyboards musically. I only wish the PSS 480 was as bendable BUT i'm about to get my hands on a 280 so...(insert villainous laugh here)

  • Thanks! Even though the 290 has just one chip in it it's quite versatile! ;)

Also because of the FM Sythesis which can be altered really easy.

I guess the 280 should have almost the same chip structure. Maybe you upload a video when it's done?! :)

  • Yes they are the same keyboard.

pss 280 pss 380 north american release

pss 290 pss 390 european release.

I will post a video once i get my hands on it.

  • vvv nice

you bent that thing right out of shape! its crying lol

  • thanks.

    Now it's much more fun.

  • fuckin rad

  • Whoah, that was...... amazing dude!

I have a PSS-50. I've found it extremely good for bending. Much easier than a Casio.

    Good work that man!

  • Thanks a lot!

  • Damn...

I was told on a website that the PSS-50 was pretty much unbendable so I left my brothers 1 alone.

What sort of fun have you got out of it?

  • hey, sorry for the late answer!

Well, actually i had a lot of fun bending this instrument. (as you can hear)

I guess my pss-290 has a more complex chip-structure than the pss-50 which makes it easier to bend. but i'm pretty sure you can acheive a few nice effects on yours. :)

  • really good stuff

  • good stuff i must pull out my old yamaha

  • Thanks.

Yeah, do it! I think they're good for circuit-bending!

  • thats probably the most 'tuneful' circuit bending ive ever heard. amazing stuff!

you should do some gigs with this stuff.

  • Thanx. I think it's more important to try to make some kind of "listenable" music with circuit-bending instead just to produce some random noises

  • Totally, hearing a spewing speak n spell gets old very quickly. Keep it up man!

  • Thank you!! :)
