I'm newbie, can you explain how Nexus Wars works?

@a866903 You start with a worker and 100 mins. You make your worker build things of any race. The things you build spawn units, which automatically go towards the enemy nexus. The point is that you counter what your opponents build. You can also build a pylon, which increases your income. Each player has a nuke, for emergencies.

hey husky,just a tip..since u are playing here with a team its always best to try to sync your units with ur teammate coz u went the same units and for protoss, zealot,sentry,stalker take 30 seconds to spawn so cancel them all together and they would come out synced :)

I've seen a nexus wars strategy where you use canons and just sit in your base and build your income. Can Husky and Ahnaris test this out?

-Both Players on bottom/top

-1 gateway per player

-1 canon per player

-rush to most upgraded pylon

-chelupa if needed.

-mass units.

@bigshowble this would probably work with noobs, if u spend 150 minerals on canons really early its just a waste..a good opponent who sees it just instantly cancel his units coming out and build a pylon,2 zealots are nothing..so there,instantly you are now at a big disadvantage

@ajm64sc2 True, but when it comes to Nexus wars... how many people would really do that... I don't often see too many serious nexus wars players. Also, that would lead their income to also drop tremendously, so in essence, you would just be at a stale mate with neither player having any income. But unless you are actually feeding them units, they dont have any more income to actually build the said pylon.

@bigshowble yeah I guess your right..actually i kinda did this..it was 4v1 and all i did was build pylons then canons to protect then the 4 guys just keep on building units that wont even destroy the canon..so yeah I guess it will all depend on how good your opponent is/how he/she will react to your strat

Give or take, I'm aware there is always different encoders and if you know what you're doing you can bring the file size down by alot. I know YIFY at ThePirateBay can make BRRips that are only 700MB big but I don't think Husky is that good at encoding(no offense to him). On torrents the usual size i see for BRips are around 3-4 gigs. Again I'm just basing this off of Movie rips.

On the other hand, i've seen some BRrip torrents as big as 8-12 GB which is downright Ridiculious. So i have to assume whoever ripped those movies didn't know what they were doing. 4GB of a BRrip movie sounds reasonable to me.

By "Raw" footage I'm assuming non-encoded non-compressed that FRAPS and other screeen recording software will record in? Ofcourse it's going to be huge if it's not compressed. But after you're done recording and editing and then actually put it in a REAL container, it shouldn't be that big anymore. 1 hour of footage for me after I'm done editing it in Vegas pro will come out to usually about 900MB-1.3GB for me(converting it to MP4)

Husky, if you play Nexus Wars in super lategame, you have to mass up Thors, their Nuke has sick range. If you push one lane to the middle or a little further, then you can Nuke their nexus from afar with scan as vision.
