She's good for her age, but this piece requires more maturity of musicianship, and control of her instrument. It's asking too much of a child to play a piece like this.

Give her something more age-appropriate, and I'm sure she'll do very well.

yes, I was a little skeptical when her teacher assigned this one and the serenade. Technically she can do it but it's hard for her to play that dreamy quality required in this one. I guess her teacher wanted to let her explore different kind of music and try to interpret different mood and feel. Well, I think when she plays it again when she's a teen she would appreciate these pieces much more.
