no not that many, but its not a rare sighting or anything to see a black person. but you might be aware of ur race wen u walk around. sj is mostly mexicans, asians, white; and all three are seperated into different sections of the city. east side=mexican, south sj/downtown=white, north sj near milpitas=asian. black people are mixed in with whites in the south. but this is all VERY general, it is a nice major city with lots of events.
