Ha, my Halo fanatic bro laughed when I brought up the Timesplitters series when we were talking about great fps games. I feel sorry for him that he's never played them. Probably the most fun I've ever had with a multiplayer game and that was only split screen with my sister:) Games today are too serious, and if you're not just another cod replica you lose credibility, support and ultimately sales. anyone know if there is a good way of using a mouse with an emulator for this game? last time i tried emulating a joystick with a mouse in an emulator it wasnt too good... i havent used a console for a fps since goldeneye 007, and thats the only thing keeping me from enjoying this game.

@googleyoutue what you said is not gibberish and is very common english. HDR is high dynamic range, which is when in games when you look at the sun the brightness lowers and when you look at a dim corner the brightness goes up, it also causes the light bleeding effect when an overpowering light source is in the room(bloom). 60fps on a console is a treat, although so rare now a days that i much prefer fps's on my desktop :( that and so i can use my mouse :)

I love the music, ah brings abck memories of playing TS2. But my god I absolutely hated how you had to hold the control stick whilst using manual aim such as when your using the scope on the sniper rifle. It was much improved in TS3.

If you're referring to the twitchy aim, when you're in aim mode the targeting reticle moves REALLY fast, and centers itself if you let off the aiming stick.

This game on hard was hard oldskool style.... Still think its fucked up TS3 got dumbed down. All plat on ts2 was f'ing hard, ts3...it took about 2 days. Hard on ts2 was trying it over and over, (specially atom smasher for me) TS3? Mostly running past every checkpoint.

It' probably considered as more of a "fun" fps than those. But it's still got a great campaign and really fun multiplayer. The TS series is probably my favourite fps series. So much fun, single and multiplayer.
