Otherwise it makes it difficult to focus on his words and causes confusion which for me is rather irritating, but not in the sense I'm irritated by YOU or anything but it's just the feeling of irritation. However, I could see how people might misdirect the frustration towards you simply because they are unaware of whats REALLY bothering them.
