@Evilbob597 the characters aren't some douche bags teenagers with guns and way too much free time on their hand...they are trained in combat arts...just look at this movie how they try to fight and shoot especially at 1:57...to 2:05...the gameplay is poor for a game with such potential

@animatethedead I agree that in reality, with all their combat training, chis, sheva, jill and wesker would all be able to run and shoot. But this is a video game where they are controlled by teenagers that too much free time (myself included) who are more than capable of shooting themselves in the foot. Also capcom tried the run and shoot technique on a previous RE title and it was critisised for it low level of accuracy and waste of ammo. so they scraped the run-shoot idea for RE5

@Evilbob597 games shouldn't reflect too much the reality of the gamer...we should play with the combat training the characters have not ours...there are many shooter games with good accuracy while moving

Also many run while shoot games are first person shooters (Halo, COD, Rainbow Six etc etc...) it can be very difficult to make a 3rd person over the sholder game that is accurate when running
