This rink was 15 meters narrower than rinks in Japan, so Nobu probably run out of space because he was used to skating on a wider rink.

Too bad about the Zayak mistake - I don't think he himself fully realized that he landed 4-3 and just continued his program as it wasn't there.. ^^' He would have the highest TES if it wasn't for the mistake. All the jumps looked so easy (except the 1st 3A - overwhelmed after 4-3, I guess :)). Hopefully next yer he'll get programs that will suit his speed more - and compete with more confidence.
That was a fantastic jump! Too bad he Zayak'ed again though, but landing the combo in worlds will give him the extra boost in confidence for next season.

I am sure he can pull back in the free...he can do it in the practices (incl the 4-3), he just has to make it happen during competition.

He sure did. That 4-3 was GORGEOUS in the LP. When he lands his jumps, they are textbook perfection.
