that bottom dial seems pretty deficient I think the ETA might be better in that regard as it only moves once the chrono is stopped and displays the milliseconds rather than constantly moving saving energy
@Hurlanator I don't see that subdial as deficient in any way. That hand serves 2 different purposes. It is normally ticking the seconds. But when using the chrono it shows fractions of a second. It only spins for the first 30 seconds of timing then to save energy it stops and reacts like an ETA movement. I'm pretty sure Ronda has a number of chrono movements that do the same. I prefer that over the ETA that you describe.
@Synthspike ok i just assumed wrong i was just worried about battery life but I do think that quartz chronographs are better than mechanical because of their durability and accuracy
@Hurlanator I do love mechanical watches. But it seems to me that Quartz is usually a perfectly suited movement for a chronograph watch, especially one as complicated as this one.
I purchased this watch for my brother in law. I was really impressed with the chronograph and the beauty of the watch. Great choice for only $150 bucks!

The Casio Edifice EF-545D series appear to have this same movement. I don't own the Casio but it looks like the same movement.

This looks like a Miyota OS60 except I don't know what that little retrograde is for, maybe an alarm that's why the pushers beep. Nice movement.
