@bbrown6057 try turning your reflective to the down side....you're reflecting the heat into the poly which has a R rating of 1 if that much. Turn your reflective side down and see how much warmer it is! I will guarantee you that it is warmer this way.
If I recall he said the ideally you want the fire about 4 feet long. I don't recall exactly how long it took to warm it up inside but wasn't too long.

the reflective side should be put down to keep the heat in. It makes no sense to reflect the heat away from the shelter.
