  • HAHA...watching this makes my heart hurt

  • I fucking love Adderall.

Know your mind, know your body and know your drug. That applies to every substance- moderation is key.

    That is my intellectual contribution.

  • Strattera is not a stimulant

  • You can get killed walking your doggy. ADHD is a biochemical disorder. Aside from symptoms, an MRI will show the difference of a person with ADHD and a person whom does not. At this point in time medication and therapy are the best solutions for people who suffer this disorder. Dr. Rosenpenis

  • People(like myself) with ADD have a different brain chemistry, our MRI's are different. How can you call a that a fraud?

  • Straterra is not a stimulant... Immediately makes this video less credible.

  • Ritalin is nasty... makes you feel terrible.

  • i used to take strattera but those sydefects didnt work on me cause i dont have heart problems. besides strattera does not work with my body anyways cause one day i took 2 of the pills and not even 3 sec later i was outside throwing them up in the front yard

  • How the hell is Strattera a stimulant?

  • @johne30587 It's not. These people are idiots.

  • stratera is not a stimulent. this video is slightly ignorant.

  • Bullshit. These people have heart problems to start with.I take vyvanse for 6 months my BP is fine no increse pulse rate no jitters.

  • i take adderall for 8 and have jitters, bp increase, hyperreflexia, and orthostatic hypo-tension.

  • adderall is abusive be carefull.COLLEGE KIDS buy them for 5-10 bucks a pill and sniff it for the high.

  • True--especially for midterms and finals, and term papers. But for those who truly have the condition, risk of abuse/dependence is very low.

  • whats your dose? I had really bad arrythmia, tachycardia on it but that was b.c i had interactions.

  • @300sooks 60 mg daily. I like it though. i love the buzz and sense of well being. ive also lost like 90 pounds on it. which was good.

  • i take ritalin in very high dose 200mg every day and my adhd doctor told me about the heartconditons so if you take methylfenidat concerta or ritalin make shore that your fysical conditions are ok sorry for my english i am from sthlm ..............sweden

  • i have ADHD i am happy no pills for me a have a lot of energy always good idees my brain works faster than a normale persone brain and ritalin and straterra is made with the drug speed and kills your brain to and your heart going faster

  • ha ha ha... you are so right.. we're pilled and robotic.... you're FREE .... where's your comma's and periods?? (ha ha ... <--STIFFLY TONED)

  • true, but this is not only the case in medication for adhd or even psychiatric medication. the antiarrythmic agent flecainide, for example, which is used to treat severe heart arrythmia, may kill you just as well if you have an underlying heart disease. google for it and see how many people died of the drug - more than of adhd medication.

  • anyway, it's important to rule out heart diseases but also brain diseases such as epilepsy before starting drug treatment for adhd AND monitor blood pressure etc. during therapy.

  • great, im starting concerta tomorrow, good to know -__-''

  • To add to this, these stimulant ADD drugs cause the heart to beat too rapidly, which leads in only a few years to myocardiopathy. Eventually the heart does not pump blood effectively and leads to a myocardio infarction (heart attack) and death. Death in ones who deserved better care than teachers who encouraged parentst o get them on the meds so that teacher and school doe snto lose federal funding when they do not do well in school--part of No Child Left Behind. contin.......

  • But they do leave children behind--the ones who threaten teachers' jobs and funding. They get them diagnosed so they are not included in the school's assessment through testing. So...not only are children being left behind, but their lives are threatened. Does anyone care?

  • Stratera isnt a stimulant.

  • Yeah lol, but Strattera is really bad none the less.

  • Sp: Strattera. It is an anti-depressant. A norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor; FDA-approved for ADHD.

  • Lol in middle school i was given this shit straterra and it made me depressed. I'ver never had depression until i took straterra. BAD TIMES! Now im taking aderall mmmmm. It's fun to.

  • hey anyone who takes these meds including me take fish oil it things the blood lowering blood pressure, drink water, eat healthy foods, work out. I first started with adderrall sucked then concerta sucked more then dexedrine its the best one by far too bad i had to get barr which made me shit then finally got brand u gotta tell ur doc to sign dispense as needed or u wont get it 75 15 mg spansules is 50 dollars with isnsurenece alot more then 10 dollars for 168 10 mg bar but brand is smoother !

  • adderall sucks big time

  • ADHD is not a real illness.

  • You're right! It's a fucking gift.

  • I agree. ADHD is a total fraud. Children are normal or even gifted until they are accused of being mentally ill and are then intoxicated with psychiatric drugs. That's when there normal brain starts suffering a pseudomedically induced chemical imbalance and what are called side effects are really the consecuences of flooding a young underdeveloped brain and body with letal neurotoxins. Follow the money.

  • ADHD IS NOT A FUCKING FRAUD!!!!!!!

That fact that it's an 'illness' is fraud. ADHD is real as the air you breath, though. Trust me. When you think about like 4 or 5 things at the same time, cannot focus on uninteresting things worth SHIT, and for some reason see the relationship in to completely opposite things, you know for a fucking fact it's real. Those fucktards shinking it's fake must have it pretty fucking good living in suck a small,, closed mind.

  • amen!

  • Having bad manners is not an illness it's just a sign of a person who is not apt to debate and sustain a smart argument. An illness is proved by an objective and scientific test that proves the presence of an organic abnormality. The day you die (hope you live a long and happy life)and have an autopsy practiced on your body they will not find evidence of your "ADHD" but they might find an atrophic brain due to iatrogenic damage caused by the pediatric cocaine you've been taking.

  • Having bad manners obviously isnt an illness. It's just irresponsible. And today, almost no one gives a shit about manners. I have been diagnosed with ADHD, and have bad manners... yet I can hold a logical debate or argument just fine. ADHD can be either A) Annoying and unstable or B) A gift of thought and creativity. And I'm sorry, but whats wrong with drugs if you know what you're doing? Someone smart with them isnt gonna be harmed by them. A dumbass will.

  • I am sorry. We cannot debate because you do not have manners and because your arguments are based on blind belief in a metaphorical diagnosis as so many other mislead victims of the shrinks. And that my friend, is not logic, it's docile compliance to authority. About drugs, I've had drunk friends wanting to drive because "they know what they are doing".

  • Blind belief is far from truth, dude. I do agree with you on about 99% of diagnosed children, however. I was so bad that in elementary school my ADHD was mistaken for autism. Holding a conversation I dont care about is almost impossible for me, even if I try. Thinking constantly about EVERYTHING provides an almost deeper meaning of simple things, and helps my creativity. And Im sorry, but did you not read what I said about drugs? Someone smart with them isnt gonna be harmed. A dumbass will.

  • @Xxero0 Post the objective lab test that proves you suffer ADHD. You dont have one. It does not exist. But I have no problem if you choose ADHD as a belief. But it has nothing to do with science. And having a conversation you don't care about is normal. Who wants that kind of communication? You have no factual ADHD but you can imagine you do have. No problem.

  • thumbs down.

S/he might be referring to logical debates arguments ***in general***. Who are you to question this one's ability to hold a logical debate/argument based on the brief posting on youtube comments?

  • What about Dr. Amen (google "amenclinic") who does SPECT scans BEFORE prescribing? What about the INATTENTIVE type of AD/HD? Also, these conditions are NOT "illnesses".

  • @Xxero0 I know man they always trying to tell me its not a condition but they haters man.

  • @Xxero0 they don't say its a fraud, they mean as in its not a disease which its not, its just a personality, some people are shy, some are hyper, just trying to make more people on meds. .

  • @terratagONE you are a misinformed opionated tool.

  • i have to take adderall, and this huge thing happened to me cause of it! my nose bled, whoop-de-fucking-do. the only thing that it does thats bad is that it lowers my blood pressure, and i dont know why, cause its a stimulant. lol

  • this is the truth

  • Strattera and many other drugs help some people and hurt others. The FDA produced this video in the interest raising public awareness of associated risks.

  • actually strattera is the best thing that ever happened to me.... & unscrupulous frivilous lawsuit firms can go fuck themselves....

  • No worries, I'll make sure to fund the bloated legal system and the lawyers who feed off the sap of society by suing a drug manufacturer for giving me a drug that I knew had risks which in turn gave me a heart attack. Thanks for the heads up! Bunch of dirty leeches.

  • This video was produced by the FDA in an effort to help increase consumer awareness, not law firms. Obviously, you are aware of the risks- others have not been so fortunate.
