He wouldn't need to have a computer there at the same time, he would only need to record the audio separately and he could edit audio-to-video later, with the same computer he used to upload the video in the first place - using a free app as I said in my first post.

You are just being a pedant here. My point is simple, and clear. Your gormless praise only enables sub-standard videos. You won't even concede that the sound is bullshit, like really bullshit, and should probably be better.

Seriously. What's up with all these musicians, using fancy technology etc, and using a god-damn CAMERA MIC to record sound ? Seriously ? ...lazy & stupid. Record the audio separately and then add it to the video. It's not rocket science, and ANY musician is capable of doing it. There's free tools like VIRTUALDUB you can use to do this.

But my point about the sound is bulletproof/watertight etc. It's uber, uber, uber fucking lame to use a camera mic to demonstrate technologically advanced musical instruments. I think you're being a bit pedantic with your reply. Just cos you're content with substandard sound is no reason to stick your oar in while someone is making an extremely valid point.

Exactly. He didn't have to put this up at all. He did it because he wanted to be nice, presumably. Thus, I won't be complaining about it. I'm just glad he put it up at all.

It's silly to call it lazy--if he were truly lazy he wouldn't have made and uploaded this video.
