This game hasn't a End, when you go to conquer other solar systems you will find a huge establishments of methanoids all over the solar systems, and it is impossible to kill all of them (without cheats) ... Try it if you want ... when you go to procyon, alpha centauri, barnard starts you will find 10-20 establishments of methanoid per solar systems ... Then the game remains open ended

@iggienator Hi, I was meaning that when you come to the end sequence (the sequence that you see many space craft travelling out the solar system), that is not the end of the game! The game simply doesn't have an end! The solar system is very simple to achieve and I've finished without cheats! But when you go to Alpha centaury, Barnard stars and other solar systems, it will become harder. In the solar system they will attak time to time and the attaks are very strong.
@ShadowDrummer76 the game gets a little repetitive, yes, but there is an ending sequence! you need to collect all artifacts. i've been sitting on that game for about one or two days and finished it without cheats.
@iggienator You have conquered all 160 colonies in all 6 or 8 galaxies? In only two days? ... Hehe .. this is a joke right? ... Ok if not I can't believe it! If you speak about the ending video after you conquered all methanoids installements on the solar system, so ok yes in two days is right, but if you can bet to conquer all 8 solar system in two days you're an alien. Also if you are a skilled player, you need minimum 3 days (continous play without eating and pissing :-) ) to ...
@iggienator ... conquer every solar system... (the ending sequence is only when you finish to conquer the solar system). Am I wrong? ... If Im wrong I never see a second ending sequence after you beat every methanoid settlements on the other solar system. So can you point me to the second ending sequence`? ... Can you post a link of this video? .. Thanks. ..
@iggienator ... after you conquer all 6 solar systems, you wouldn't see any end sequence and to do attaks on other solar systems is better if you cheat. If you don't cheat then you need about a year of gameplay to destroy about 120 colony of methanoids! That's pretty much time for me ! ... So I've used the cheats to destroy all colonies to see if something happens, but nothing happened ... As sayd before the game remains open ended ... Kind regards!
Played this for days and nights on my STE. Freaking awesome game. Too bad Amiga's version had better music on introduction. All the rest is almost identical. I also liked another game called Supremacy. Totally identical on both machines. :) Greetings to you all. :)
The intriguing thing about a game like Deuteros is that you literally start with *nothing* except access to an essentially infinite number of workers (though you have no initial place for more than about 600), and a half dozen mines, and have to climb your way up to galactic conquest, veteran pilots, war fleets, etc.
There's actually a consequence to technological development besides a new icon or thing to build. The game "opens up" as you progress, like Spore except not as stupidly arbitrary.

@ShadowDrummer76 well i think there are many people who beat the game including myself. you just need a good strategy!
i'd wish though that they would have made a sequel

I wish they'd make this for the PC. Spice it up a bit with new graphics, but keep the gameplay the same. Awesome game.
