Just drag the lower border of fl up with your mouse. It is hidden down there. Personally though I prefer to puT all patterns on the upper half of the screen and dont really use the bottom. It is easier to use it that way.

@Linkydj A chord is simply any combination of more than one note, even three random ones. An interval is a step in a direction away from a note. You can have major intervals, minor intervals, diminished intervals, etc.
