I love Scream one of the first slashers I managed to get the courage to watch when I was 11- I hope Scre4m is the start of a new trilogy- one that remakes and completely rewrites all the rules and conventions of a horror/slasher- then maybe we'd see more on the screens- so far its just vampires and zombies and i'm gettin a bit bored.....

I can't possibly be the only person who thinks that this is one of the greatest pieces of music to ever grace my ears. It is so beautiful in a very solemn, epic sort of way. The music starts with a very aggressive and almost ominous sound, and eventually segues (at around the 2:00 mark) into a totally depressing, hopeless atmosphere that is strangely mesmerizing at the same time. Very complex and thought-provoking. I can listen to it over and over.

Scream is one of the good modern slasher films. Like a lot of people, this was one of the first Slasher films I saw. And I've seen a lot of horror after this, believe me. Even though I don't watch this as much as the others though, I still consider this in my Top 5.
