Awesome. Amazing match. I mainly watched this match because I'm a huge fan of Kensuke Sasaki and I wanted to see some of his matches as The Power Warrior. As for Sasaki's entrance theme, sounds a little similar to the Take That Dream entrance song. And yes, Muta is the shit. Hail Japan.

Muta has never sold to anyone. It's just how his character is. Nigga could get pile drived through a table, take a chair shot and get thrown into stairs. What would muta do? spring back up and slap the bitch in the face.

Muta is supposed to be a demonic heel(even though he is over and gets face pops where ever he goes), kinda like how the undertaker was back in the 90's.

Muta has great in-ring work, presence and he interacts with audience very well (look at muta vs. jushin liger)

Power Warrior is actually a pseudo Road Warrior gimmick. Hawk teamed with him after he left the WWF the first time, when he went to Japan. Animal was not involved with them.

I love how Muta did not sell the finish at all. Power Warrior hit his move, then Muta went to get up, Power Warrior laid him back down, and pinned him.

Muta then just got up and left, completely no selling the finish. I don't know if all Japanese wrestling is like that, but it was kind of crappy (not the match, Muta not selling Power Warrior's finish).

Very cool video and I agree about the ring attire. I recommend people to check out the Road Warrior shoot video. Hawk has a funny story about making some shoulder pads for Power Warrior from some ordinary shoulder pads to help with his look and comments about the cost of what the Japanese had made for them.

Yeah. Generally the Japanese crowd (wrestling & MMA) only cheers during a submission attempt. That's why if you ever watch a RAW when the WWE is in Japan, the only time the crowd makes noise is during the entrance and when the finish is near.

Power Warrior is Kensuke Sasaki. Him and Road Warrior Hawk were once IWGP tag champs while Animal was sidelined after a back operation.
