  • Owwwww, note to self; turn down the headphones, when about to listen to that.

  • What I would give to get my members to do that.

  • for the record - this is 2006, not 2005.

  • Dat horn angle.

  • ? ? ? ? how perfect are they

  • @TheSpartanboii The Cadets are one of the top DCI corps along with The Cavaliers, The Blue Knights, The Blue Coats, Carolina Crown, and The Blue Devils

  • @TonyBtones PHANTOM!?!!?

  • @TonyBtones Santa Clara Vanguard?

  • ? ? ? ?how perfect are they

  • Like if u step off with ur LEFT foot :C

  • AHHHHH!!!!! RIGHT FOOT!!! my brain is so confused!

  • Thumbs if your band director just sent you here :p

  • Those scissors can cut a stack of paper.

  • In every single line, the second from the left is slightly off on a few steps. So close it's irritating to me!

  • woooooooow. looks good. impressed. that is all :)

  • Perfect example of straight leg technique. I don't know why our high school director tries to make us do that, because no one grasps the idea correctly.

  • @randompurple35 (s)he's probably not teaching it correctly.

  • @sopet020304 It's true. He doesn't know what he's talking about. the tech comes in and tries to explain, but to no avail.

  • Nice. I'm pretty sure my HS drumline's marching is almost close to that good.... but the rest of the band.... bleh.

  • they use streight leg, (like all cores) but stupid right foot step off.

  • no, not all corps use straight legs.

  • This technique looks funny

  • its like the nut charcker

  • i meant to say the nut cracker

  • thats fucking perfect....TOO PERFECT

  • are you kidding me?!?!? that is so easy and it looks so cool. my band director is makeing us do the cavaliers technique and its so complicated and hard

  • How do the cavies march? I've always been interested in their technique

  • the cavaliers technique is more comfortable than straight legs, and most high schools teach soemthing like the cavaliers technique because straight legging is very difficult for high school level

  • the cavies lift their knees when they march.

  • @bejay20x As far as a i know most high schools teach a slight bent knee. The cavies bicycle which is alot of bent knee

  • I'd just like to point out that this was 2006 not 2005. I was there.

  • pretty damn good technique

i wish i was in Cadets, i can't afford it...

  • how can you not like straight knees???? it looks bad when people march with bent knees unless you are high-stepping.

  • well we bend our knees in the army...it still looks pretty good.

  • Are these The Cadets? (video description confuses me)

  • Yes.

  • man thats perfect technique

  • ok, they finished 2nd...leave them alone..lol

  • I love how people say they arent bouncing. Just look at how much their heads move at this tempo and imagine when they speed it up.

  • I love how people critique something they couldnt do themselves.

  • I love how people try to defend something they think they learned while in high school marching band.

  • actually - they aren't bouncing - get a life.

  • Actually - they do bounce. Go learn something about marching styles. They bounce because of their technique. They can't help it. Go watch a Cadets show from the endzone, you will probably get seasick.

  • haha - so sad. i'm sure you're a pro ;-) besides who cares if they bounce...they're the best marchers out there!

  • bouncy.... where? that's some nice technique there...

  • Watch their bodies. They bounce. They are going slow so it's harder to see. It is nice technique though (even though the first row had really bad phasing). It's clean, it looks nice, but they do bounce because of their marching technique.

  • I agree...the first row was phasing a SLIGHT bit. Very good eye on that..the second from the end on the first row wasn't hitting his heel on the downbeat... I may not be in DCI (although would love to be) but I saw that... Deffinatly something that would be picked up if you watched it closely...

  • but they sure know how to narrate!!!

  • bouncy bouncy bouncy
