What about the tired and hungry and poor in our own countries? the way I see it, I would rather help one of the homless kids on the streets of St. Louis, then to send money to someone in a foreign country..

I see your point and in some ways I almost agree. But I bet that the homeless in St. Louis at least got a soup kitchen or somwhere they can go to eat at least once in a while. In poor countries a lot of people doesn't even have that. My point is that they all need help. And it's about time they get it. There's so much unfairness in the world, and we all have to start somwhere. If you want to help the homeless in your hometown, that fan-friggin-tastic!
