I barely hear a little Cypress Hill influence in this music especially in that highly irritating high pitched vocals of Seo Taiji please stop that immediately!
You know what led me here? The cover of this song Big Bang did on the radio show. Pretty impressive stuff. Now, I'm grooving to this the whole day.....
@potatoboi123 it was already declared by cypress hill itself that the two songs are not the same and Seo taijin and the boys did not copy cypress hill like some people accused them.

i hear a lot of females screaming but when the camera pans towards the audience, everyone is in their seats quietly and attentively watching the performance. hmmm...
@djmatt79 I don't know why you got hidden, but, you're just stating the truth.
Clearly here, he is going for the B-Real's nasally sound that is a trademark of his, and even the beats on this was very West Coast/Cypress Hill. Many Korea-Americans in the 90s went back to Korea to become artists, hence bringing their influences with them. At that time, there's no YouTube or such for the Koreans to view Hip Hop. That style of music was totally new to them, so, it was a little easier to bite.
@bklyncrook I beg the differ... I was there when It all started for Seo Teji and the other Hip Hop artist in the early 90s and true there were some Asian American artist like the trio group called "Solid" who came from the states, but they were mostly influenced by the U.S. soldiers who were stationed there and also from the Japanese who had embraced Hip Hop sooner than the Koreans. Google Japanese Hip Hop group called ZOO.
@ddbreakdancer I hear you, and great that you pointed out the influence that the GIs brought over there, which I personally didn't take into account. Going over my comment, I believe I stated in the general sense of the 90s with Korean-Americans like Solid or late 90s like Drunken Tiger. I remember hearing, "I Want You" from DT, and I was like, didn't Camp Lo used that sample from Stylistics. Maybe, Seo Taiji got a hold of the Black Sunday and want to do his own "I Ain't Goin' Out like that"

There was a guy named Hyun Jin Young who was being produced by Lee Soo Man (founder of SM Entertainment) who did hip hop style like a year or two before Seo Taiji debuted (in 1990 / 1991).
