I am very intrested in the culture of Japan and its long history, especially the Tokugawa shogunate. I think what you are doing with these lessons are amazing. Your English needs improvement, but I am very appreciative of these extra lessons.

  • I love Kansai-ben! It sounds so funny :) I'd also like to learn to speak like that but it's better not to do so...

My first Kansai-ben words i was tought by a friend! That were Mokarimakka and Bochi bochi denna. At that time I could only speak a little japanese but I tried to use those words (in tokyo). The reaction was that the people looked at me like an alien O.o

I think you're lessons are great but please tell the people that this is a slang!

  • Hello.MOKARIMAKKA and BOCHIBOCHI DENNA is typical KANSAIBEN.The people in Tokyo have the rivalry in Kansai.

This is not a standard dialect of Japan as said by you.

  • anta no boushi wa honnmani kawaiiiiiiiiii!

  • You lived in Kanto. I want to hear your Japanese. Gracias.

  • LOL you're funny, hmm, what about majide and honto ni? isn't it the same?

  • Haha!Thank you for your comment.

"Majide?" is a young person word in the Kanto region.

    It means "real?OR serious?"

"Honto ni" is a standard dialect.

It means "real?OR serious?",same meaning but polite.

  • My host sister always said maji de?? its soooooo cute

  • You also usually use this phrase"HONMA NI".

If it is possible to use it with your video, I am very glad.Peace

  • Please use"HONMA NI"ミ * (=^ ・ ・ ^) v

HONMA NI OOKINI!means really thank you.
