it was really cool. i am studying japanese now. and some of my japanese friends teach me kansai, and it got me into that, i found it very interesting! however i have to learn japanese well before i can get into the dialect. lol.
Domo arigatou! I'm learning Japanese in my high school, it's a very exact and yet flexible language. I am very intrested in the culture of Japan and its long history, especially the Tokugawa shogunate. I think what you are doing with these lessons are amazing. Your English needs improvement, but I am very appreciative of these extra lessons.
hey, thanks for this video ookini! I've been looking everywhere for a video that features someone speaking with a Kyoto accent (demo honmani muzukashii na), would you be making more of these? It would be great if you could do longer videos too !:)
I love Kansai-ben! It sounds so funny :) I'd also like to learn to speak like that but it's better not to do so...
My first Kansai-ben words i was tought by a friend! That were Mokarimakka and Bochi bochi denna. At that time I could only speak a little japanese but I tried to use those words (in tokyo). The reaction was that the people looked at me like an alien O.o
I think you're lessons are great but please tell the people that this is a slang!

honma ni means really? Does honto ni mean really too?
ShimmyunderBubblez 1 year ago
@ShimmyunderBubblez Yes. But 'honma' is Kansai dilect. While 'honto' is used more on places like Tokyo. But they both mean the same thing.

omosiroi is an adjectival, therefore you add katta, no desita.
