@BINDERxREVx haha I did the exact same thing. . . Made that tubescreamer sound like a toy. The Rockbox is expensive as hell, but it is by far the best overdrive I've heard to date.

I'm not Andy, but I'll throw in my two cents: Lovepedal Es are GREAT, but they tend to mess with other effects, so if you're a one pedal guy that's the one for you. The MP Sweet Honey is a slightly different version of the BJFE Honey Bee, a pedal designed to sound like a small amp (Supro or Fender Champ) turned all the way up, making it a completely different animal. The HW TS808 is still a Tubescreamer, making it a one trick pony. Demeter pedals have a more refined tone but are still great.

I can't make up my mind about this pedal. Andy gave it a great wrap, but, I need to hear it in more of a metal context. Like in front of a Marshall, a Peavey or something along those lines to make it clear whether or not it's for me!

If you're running with a clean sound, no. . . But using this as a gain boost into an overdriven amp for solos/ heavier sections, this thing will aboslutely KILL.
