I am doing a quick defrag right now. I love defraggler :) It is way better than the windows defragmenter, well I like it better. It also does it a little faster.
That can't be true, the way most defragmentation programs work is by tapping into the windows default defrag and file moval handler, which does not touch accessed files and flags the file as immovable.
Therefore defragmentation can never harm your computer and open programs can thus only make your defragmentation less efficient.

I recommend IObit's Smart Defrag.
Nice review and nice program, but there are better programs out there, such as the one I recommend and also (not free) PerfectDisk.

@idodo60 IObit Programs Are Rogue Programs and types of crapware. So, beware, check your program, search at google example " IO Bit rogue" or else.
I very very very recommend you, use Piriform Defraggler. Its keep your computer clean! And secure your computer!

A defrag program using anything else than the default handler, while operating in Windows, would be ludicrous and would indeed, harm your computer.
