  • POCKET-EH-SIS!?

  • 0:21 gollum orgasam

  • this version of gollum is freaky but hes supposed to be a hobbit not a frog thing the ring does not transform people into frog looking creatures. and besides this is not tolkiens gollum tolkien never described his characters in great detail

  • @helghast45 He's been alive for hundreds of years living under a mountain, eating blind fish and raw orc,so, yes, he's going to be a fat rosy-cheeked hobbit, yes.

  • @helghast45 But he never really said that gollum was a hobbit. Only that " He was the dark" just a foul little monster who was consumed by the ring

  • I can't wait to see how the Peter Jackson version portrays this scene.

  • @CCScorseseVideos OMG Peter Jackson is going to be more concerned about following the book not this fuckin movie gtfo with that.

  • @phenomenom20 If you believe that you obviously aren't a fan of the books. I mean, where the fuck was Tom Bombadil? (Bombadil > Gandalf, and pretty much everyone actually)

  • Freeman is gonna do a great bilbo countering Gollum!

  • woooooooooow when people go invisible they go PHEEEEEEEEEEEWP!

  • @mOsherfr3ak69 Do you know whether or not the HOBBIT movie will come to theaters next year? Is Peter Jackson going to direct it? I understand he was having financial difficulties with NEW LINE CINEMA.

  • @mOsherfr3ak69 Thanks for clarifiying that with me. I thought Gollum said: "it's off to the vestibule."

  • 4:41-4:48 it's off to the what?

  • here's a riddle

    more powerful than god

    more evil than satan

    owned by poor people

    wealthy people do not have

    higher than infinity

    what am i?

  • @supermechadeath333 Nothing.

  • @supermechadeath333 nothing

now show me the way out of this cave

  • @supermechadeath333

    everyone knows that one...

  • Funny thing is when I first saw this I thought it was an animated version of Justin Beiber XD

  • @Narkuta1228 Since when was Justin Beibers voice ever this pleasant?

  • As much as I like the Gollum from the kick ass live films, I must say I still love this frog like version :D I love his creepy eye's and voice!

  • @Narkuta1228

The live action one is returning next year(for this very scene again)! can't wait for it!

  • What have i got in my pocket? NOT FAIR!!! *Consumes bilbo*O_O

  • pore gollum didint get his ring T.T

  • I have never gotten a riddle correct in my entire life, until just now. I actually guessed "Time" myself.

  • Aaasssk....AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSK!!!!!!!

  • even if bilbo lost the game he would still get out he just needs to give gollum a good slash with sting and watch him run to the back door and then follow him

  • "What do I have in my pocket?" I'm sorry but I laughed out loud when I first heard that. Bilbo basically owned Gollum right there.

  • I still have nightmares with this version of Gollum every now and then....

  • 0:22 hes acting like he just listened to justin beiber

  • @brennen7797 okay that was pretty damn funny XD

  • Gollum used to be a hobbit.. not a frog xD

  • I may be wrong, but I remember Bilbo to be a less indifferent character.

  • Gollum's a big frog?

  • I've never been at all scared of Jackson's Gollum, but this honestly frightens me.

  • lol the wise make judgments relative to the times. I think a rocket launcher is way cooler then a catapult. how stupid is that statement

  • Something just struck me as odd. Don't hobbits have a tradition of GIVING gifts away on their birthdays, rather than taking them? If that's the case, then why did Sméagol even think to request the ring as a birthday present from his brother, being a hobbit himself? Wouldn't it have been a bit more feasible if Tolkien had written it to be Déagol's birthday instead of Sméagol's so that Sméagol could rightfully request the ring as a "birthday present"? I know I'm nitpicking, but still....

  • @ometta7 Gollum wasn't a good hobbit. He is fallen hobbit like goblin are fallen elves.

  • @altarush Yes, but he wasn't so far gone as to forget Hobbit tradition when he requested the ring as a birthday present. He hadn't even touched it, so it couldn't have corrupted him. It's still a rather noticeable continuity error if you're geeky enough to pay attention.

  • @ometta7 You don't have to touch the ring to be corrupted by it. Weaker wills are immediately tempted when it is near. That's why some at the secret council meeting where immediately under influence. Gandalf and Galadriel dare not touch it but still were tempted and heard it calling them.

  • @pharze That actually makes sense. Thank you for clearing that up.

  • I'm sure sauron designed the ring to make a BOOIINNGG sound whenever you put it on : P

  • @fireoutlaw23 Maybe he was just bored :P

  • There was no CGI back then, this is what there was, and it was scary as hell.

  • This gollum is just ugly, it hasn't got no resemblance whatsoever with a human

  • Pause at 2:37! Bilbo looks like Gene Wilder! HAHAHAHA!

  • This Gollum makes the Jackson version look like a sissy.

  • My grandma from Mexico talks and sounds like Gollum. When I was a kid, I'd ask her to make me quesadillas and when she would look all uncertain like she didn't want to, I'd poke her and scream in my best Gollum voice, "WHAT DOES IT ANSWAH!? WHAT DOES IT ANSWAH!!? She would try to hit me, but I would run.

  • @jswinder That, is hysterical.

  • omg, its a giant frog.

  • I really hope Jackson will be able to make Gollum as terrifying as RankinBass did.

  • That scream he lets out is just terrifying O.o

  • @ 5:25, it looks like he took a quick trip to wonderland

  • its so creepy that gollum calls the ring his "birthday present" when he killed his brother for it on his birthday.

  • Gollum is such a great character! He will always be my fave! Funny little guy.

  • There's going to be a Peter Jackson Hobbit Movie?? When ????

  • thisis off the chain i hope the new hobbit movie will be this good.....i remember watching this when i was young ...LOTR and the HOBBIT, and THE SILMARILLON R THE BEST BOOKS EVA!!!

  • Gollum is the best character in this movie. much better then the lord of the rigns gollum

  • one of my favorite movies. the acting is great. personally i think gollum looks pretty cool

  • IT IS TRICKSY!

  • still looks like a frog ;)

  • ahK!!!! Time is the answer..." Gollum looks like Swamp thing in this one. "Pocketese"

  • why did they make gollum look like a frog?

  • @petros0001 Because they decided to follow the first edition of "The Hobbit" which is VERY vague about Gollum's descriptions what little it does say is a line "strarved frog" so I'm assuming they took that sentence and used it as a jumping off point. I know that JRR Tolkien went back and added some stuff to "The Hobbit" to help it match up better to "Lord of the Rings" but I don't know if he ever revised Gollum's description in any of the other editions of the book.

  • "My...he does carry on..." Lmao. I do enjoy how calm Bilbo was during this creepy exchange with gollum. Even after gollum flew into a rage and started throwing a tantrum when he realized bilbo had the ring all along.

  • POCKETSESES!

  • AAAAASK AAASK

  • HAHA..."It's not fair to ask my precious what it's got in its NASTY little pocket!"

  • I like this version much better than andy circus'. even though its a cartoon and kinda childish theres something so much more creepy about him in this version

  • Where did Gollum get the ring in the first place?

  • Gollum originally found the ring while he was fishing with one of his friends, when he was still a Hobbit. He found the ring, and his friend wanted it, the then killed his friend and went into the mountains.

  • i think deagol was smeagol's cousin

  • he was never a hobbit. he was one of the river folk which were simmilar to but not actually hobbits and was only driven away because he used the ring to spy on people and steel things

  • but on his bio it says that his race is a hobbit

  • @orgixvi3 It was his birthday present. At least, according to the foul creature himself.

  • mmm...my precious...will it, taste, delicious? Brother Theodore, you will be missed.

  • coming from a Naruto fan? quality cartooning is not your department

  • That is Brother Theodore's voice as Gollum.

  • Is that why Gollum hates Bilbo so much? because he never got to eat him? or cause he stole the ring? or is it both?.

  • Perhaps both, but more on the "because he stole the Ring" side. The Ring is Gollum's "preciousss", after all.

  • also the ring is part of its master and affects and controls any and all beings in any matter that would lead it down the path of returning to its master, so gollum hated bilbo most assuredly because the ring was gone because he was deeply being controlled by the ring. a lot more can be read of this in the fellowship of the ring, as gandalf explains the history of the ring and its past relationships.

  • hes green then purple

  • reminds me of the time i lost an eight of really dank weed!

  • Poor guy; He's homeless, he's out of shape and to top it off, the most precious thing he had in this world was stolen by a funny little man.

  • We Hates Baggins Forever!!!!!! Thats Classic!

  • man the end is frikken scary...much better that the vedio lol o.O

  • ok say what you will but i by far enjoy this gollum better. i mean compared to the two this one gives me more nightmares. and theodore was the man. nothing against serkis. sigh too bad he's gone. remember him in the burbs with tom hanks?

  • he looks like Mr Toad but the voice acting is impeccable

  • I love Brother Theodore's performance. At first Gollum is menacing but a little childish and goofy, but at the end you can tell just what a murderous creature he is.

  • I actually like this Gollum better. It's scarier.

  • @LadyTwenties I agree. Don't get me wrong I like Andy Serkis's voice for the new Gollum, but Serkis's voice of Gollum sounds more cartoony. The other actor playing Gollum sounds more serious and creepy.

  • And that's why smeagol hates frodo later on.

  • the end where he yells "thief, theif, baggins, we hates it, hates it forever!" use to scare the living crap out me when i was younger.

  • OMG ME 2!!! lol

  • @woollybully100 YES. A THOUSAND TIMES YES. I am so glad I'm not alone with that!

  • My Precious a tasty morsel it is

  • im thinkin i like Peter Jacksons Gollum better...

  • especially andy serkis's voice :p

  • ARRGGHHHH!!!!

    TA TA!!!

    THIEF!!!!

    THIEF!!!

    WE HATIS THE BAGGINS!!!

    FOREVER!!!
