Yeah I have to agree with you on this movie as a whole. I think the Wolf may be my favorite Predator of all though and there are some good parts to it so I think of it as I like the film but it isn't really that good overall.
the action bits are only good if you can tell what going on (the entire movie except like one scene is way too dark)
that was the thing, the essential part of avp was the marines. okay sure they weren't marines per say in the first film but at least like 5 characters were interesting.
