I grew up in Ardenlee st and those flats were a part of home. More than anything they were a sign of sadness after a friend died as a youth. His memorie lives on.
I lived in 40 millerfield for a wee while.....never did like that place but its sad to see your childhood home being demolished....I've experienced that with the house I grew up in too :-(
as far as i know just now the last one (4 millerfield place) is coming down in august. but this one was supposed to have been demolished in february. so it could be anytime.i'll try to keep you posted. will be sad to see it go, grew up in that block. 1968 till 1984.
In Britain there is a lot of buildings to be demolished.

The area was very run down, it needed to be demolished, It's now going to be part of the site for the 2014 commonwealth games athletes village,
