  • he is keeping the center line very nice.

  • sooo visual landing?

  • Son of a bitch!!!!!

  • One Chunk of Rubber Disliked this:P

  • my god it took half of the rim off....good landing pilet...

  • They should have landed on grass to reduce risk of landing gear catching fire. Why could they retract the gear and get someone to fix it in flight. A little bit of WD-40 could have released the stuck gear.

  • @DuhEnlightenedOne

the weight of the aircraft is far to heavy for grass, and the momentum of it moving aswell will just bury the plane on impact, not bury as in sink but it will rip up the ground and can easily cause alot more damage

  • Yeah if it was southwest, theyd be done for good. they cant even do a proper goaround with out bringing gear and flaps up...

  • i remember watchin this on the news xD

  • Bravo to the pilots! They clearly have both the technical skill & the ability to remain calm in a crisis. If only all operators of heavy machinery displayed such professionalism.

  • 8 crewmembers ?

  • Accordiing to he NTSB report there were pilot, first officer, four crewmembers and 141 passengers aboard the A320.

  • that would be 6 crewmembers...

  • thats so scary for passangers!! shit

  • awesome landing :O

  • that's 2 amazing pilots right there...notice how after the rear wheels touched down, they kept the nose up for as long as they could, until the plane slowed too much and stalled. imagine trying to ride a wheelie, except instead of a 10 lb bike going about 20, your in a 130,000 + lb jumbo doin about 140 knots

  • yes this is real i saw it on fox 2 news

pretty crazy, awesome and skilled pilots

  • yea i remember seeing it on fox 1 news

  • shatterjack yes it was a brilliant landing

  • the brakes on front wheel were cracked and eventually broke in two

  • that pilot did really a great job, it's a hero, dude!

  • what simulator is this?plz reply!

  • hi it's anot a simulator this is real

  • The situation itself was real (check Google and the NTSB reports published). The vid itself seems kind of odd - must have been recorded by another real pro - the plane nose stays dead center despite the very long zoom lens that must have been used - the plane is more than 2 miles away when we first see it... You don't see many buildings to evaluate the nature of the shot. However, there are pics on the web that prove the landing.

  • we want morevids!

  • pilots were badass. They could not have been more dead center on the runway
