@TastyTortilla buy a Clymers manual. 2 stroke Dirt bike engines are pretty simple. If you are mechanically inclinded you will be able to tear down a 2 stroke somewhat easily even if you haven't done it before as long as you have your manual. You MUST be patient though. It's very frustrating if you let it be. 4 stroke dirt bike on the other hand you will need some knowledge of engines. They are like a car engine just smaller version and very high performance.

way to kill it if you no anything about 2 strokes is that to have to rev them to keep engin in good shape or elce oil builds up and youl be looking at a rebuld so rev that som bich

@74DodgeChallnger You musn't know squat, if you don't keep it rev'd like you should, all that will happen is the oil won't get burnt enough, so it builds up on your spark plug, and all you have to do is pay around $5.00 for a new spark plug.

@dbikerider96 wrong idleing a 2 stroke mxer is a big cause of plug fouling besides incorrect jetting of course it does them good to be cleared out when running to save oiling up the plug,

@idk76305 the chain looks completely fine to me. if you can fit two fingers in between it and the swing arm and its a little snug then its perfect. they look loose but when the sprockets move like they do on race bikes, it tightens up.

@baii3r it would sound better yes but just putting silencers or just pipes on 2 strokes does nothing for power you pretty much have to have a combo to feel a power difference
