i liked the sons of kyuss version more, disregarding the quality. although, they sound very much alike but this one is too defined somehow..idk

@TheVodica it's the same band friend. Kyuss made their first album, I'm not sure is it a demo or what, under the name of Sons of Kyuss. After that everything they made is called Kyuss. Until they broke in to small pieces -94 (or 95). i think. then came QOTSA, Hermano, Unida, Slo Burn, Fu Manchu was earlier and so on...

There were some GREAT Garcia moments in early Kyuss, kinda unique vocals... I'm not saying he was not great later but last Kyuss music was pretty much defined by three effin monsters: Homme, Bjork and Reeder (Alfredo came later to close the circle with Circus left..).

i still think that the sky valley is the greatest album and all songs on it are 10/10 blues for the red sun is still damn good but the sky valley has the whole psychedelic essence of kyuss its a eternal story which it tells with a great concept not just great music like at the blues of the red sun and at circus leaves town they began to loose the soul of kyuss it got way to easy to get in and there they lost much of the power and psychedelic feeling of the other albums

wretch is a totally different album. it was their debut, and they hadn't found their "real kyuss" sound yet. but you deffenitly can hear kyuss elements in it.
