  • China is playing the long game. Financially flush they more or less own the USA. They are building up their military and waiting to take over militarily from the USA once the US has to cut its own military. It's inevitable, the USA began its decline two decades ago.

    ENTER THE DRAGON

  • - USA is run by EVIL doers , terrorists and criminals.

  • americans are so nieve they dont get that before them existed empires that did and had things that never any empire had before, portuguese spanish empire controlled 1#3 world, from 1400-1600 thats 200 years... englisn from 19-20 century, now usa, the usa is in power since 1918, end of 1 world war, thats not too much time for americans to think they are going to be there forever and dollar cant die or usa cant be defeated is ridiculous, afg. seems like the place where empires go to die for real

  • The main problems with the Wars in Afghanistan and Iraq have been the Economic Costs to our country. Because they've both been over 1T$ each all borrowed money. All placed on our National Debt Card that we have to pay back,

  • There are 8 year olds in this country who have never lived in a country that wasn't in war.

  • @jrhd00d84 < Yes, any long term war has negative impact on the children and creates future problems.

USA has fallen victim to military-pharma-fascist-industrial-complex banksters. Unless I'm kept ignorant of intelligence reports that require such long occupations, my conclusion is right.

  • Zbigniew Kazimierz Brzeziński is one of the biggest Asshole on the Planet. He say, without the USA playing the Master of this Earth, there would be Anarchy. A Question ZK-B, how do you describe the current Situation on Earth? Persons like you and your motherfucking Friend Kiesinger are Terrorist in the most evil Sense.

  • we should have never gotten into this mess but i support the effort now because once you get blood on your hands your in till its over. there's no way out now.

  • If all that money spent on the wars could be spend on the U.S. economy, education, health care, etc...we would be living in a differentily.

  • all empires rise and fall

    history has proven that.

  • Thanks Eric and Paul, We cant have guns and butter. But we can have guns, be delusional, smoke crack and destroy one nation after another. Including are own ( the U.S. ).

  • Gee this must be the first empire of apes to rape and pillage half the planet and then not even manage to plunder it to pay for its carnage after the blood tsunami. Could it be that the WASpish in-bred gentry, their ZIOdon theorists and their ethnical redneck protoplasm "our troops" are in effect the 3 stooges writ monstrous? Either way I'm enjoying it and can't wait to see zombie apartheid rump entity in apartheid occupied Palestine bring the whole pile of crap to a steaming halt.

    Boycott ZOG

  • Thanks Eric and Paul, The U.S.A.s idea of protecting the plantant is to enslave every worker on earth ( Free Market Capitalism ) .

  • @BBCSHEEPNEWS

You listen to too much ALex Jones. Where is your proof that Real news is controlled by the CIA?

  • In the 1980's the U.S. bankrupt the Soviet Union by beating them in the weapons race. Now our fighting all the fucking Arab countries are doing the same to the U.S. Screw the Muslims let them kill each other!

  • @BBCSHEEPNEWS - Sir, how do you know that the CIA runs The Real News and why would it matter if they do? Peace!

  • America, aka "Roman Empire ll", is crumbling from within for the exact same reasons. Those who forget history are apt to repeat it.

  • According to William Engdahl (a previous guest), Brzezinski also states that the purpose of an American empire is to procure resources and maintain hegemony. I don't think our government/Pentagon/elites care about "order" for its own sake.

  • ...And Iran and North Korea didn't even make the list, lol...

  • The problem with Jay is he believes in the nanny state and riles against the military state. Both are unconstitutional, and Jay just doesn't understand why. Both are two sides of the same coin; the nanny state wants to tax you to death to take care of everyone, and the military state wants to tax you to death to keep everyone safe from all sorts of dangers, foreign and domestic. Both are lies, both are contrary to liberty and freedom, both lead to bankruptcy, and neither deliver on promises.

  • Wars are not sending you to ruin that has already happened but we live in denial

  • Israel keeps pissing on America and America thinks its raining.

  • now that's a lot of money...going for guns and bombs...just to show the world how big a "dick" you are.

  • when you say "we need to fight china"...yet you are from Germany...is just confusing ? Is Germany gonna fight China ?

  • @MrRightAllTime

wow.....we definitely need LESS people like you in the world.

  • @MrRightAllTime It's funny how your GOP buddies always elect chicken hawks as their leaders. Epically in 2000 with the GOP primary between Bush and McCain.

  • Irregardless of the cause, the US is doomed to failure along with the rest of the worlds economy !

  • The Israel Lobby (Marije Meerman, VPRO Backlight 2007); a video from VPROinternational

    /watch?v=N294FMDok98

  • American Domestic and Foreign policies are CONTROLLED by :

    1. Israeli Government (the MOSSAD & Israeli Lobby)

    2. Corporations of America.

    3. CIA & NSA

    HELL with "WE THE PEOPLE!"

  • 4. Military Industrial Complexes of America

    5. Congressional Corporate CompleXXXes of America.

  • test

  • At the end of the day, its about Money.

A wall street elite super-rich, they all know each other, they all watch each other, and they all compete, and they all love to be the best, and when u deal with Billions of dollars on a daily basis and hundreds of Billions every year, the world moves with you.

  • war, is only creating insecurity, disorder and the politicians are contributing and of course if they withdraw or pull out there will be problems cause that happens with anything if you take out one of the factors that causes it

  • The Founding Fathers warned about over-grown military establishments and about trading liberty for perceived security, The United States in 2010 is number 1# in two things, Military spending and Prison Population, If these the oligarchical hold of the Washington DC is not broken, the United States shell go the way of the British Empire before it within the next 10-15 years.

  • If and when you allow the rest of the world donate to TheRealNews, please don't assume the denomination $5 equates to £5, cos that simply WON'T happen (from my fone anyway)!!!!!!!!!

    Aside from that, EXCELLENT WORK!:)

  • Let the government fail!

the U.S- gov is a rotten, stinking, corrupt CORPSE!

It hasn;t worked for some time, NOT for WE, THE PEOPLE.1

  • The US people are a rotten, stinking, bunch of corpses

  • @Ezzedeen01 - LoL! They think that they are pretty cool. Peace!

  • alot of people are making a lot of money, and this is what this is about.

honestly, where does all the money go at the end of the day?

  • Do you know who Covered up the Secret Societies, the same ones that hid the 49 books of the bible!!! That Anti-semetic card is played out! Get the Zionist Bank owners out of Our Government! Get anyone out that has Dual Citizenship!!! The Zionist and Jesuits!!!

  • Expensive wars and disastrous financial manipulation drove Louis XIV's France into financial ruin - but the Court and their toadies lived high off the hog for another 2 generations.

Then things came apart, and lots of people lost their heads for it.

  • the people don't forget!

  • this is bullshit if the federal reserve keeps the United States in debt then why not borrow from the Federal Reserve? Why borrow from China and Japan? Who cares who you borrow from if it adds up to the same, then why ow money to other countries? i think it's all a lie

  • exactly.

  • Wars sending the US in ruin (WTF)

Who's paying for the UNFUNDED sandbox wars, the entire globe.

Gold Year 2000 $265 US (world reserve)

Gold Year 2010 $1100 US (world reserve)

Problem here is there's nothing backing up the US dollar so when the price in physical gold rises it PROVES the central bank is counterfeiting currency.

The world is going to implode , you can't fix it without sound money. Everybody pays for the Americans to be a bunch of fuck ups.

  • you're a fucktard, its now guns not gold. gold rule---those with the guns makes the rules and we have them guns

  • You're a ignorant asshole are you running for office ?

No sound money , no civilization as the asshole in the post above mentions.

The government only has to provide the environment for civil war to proceed. Counterfeiting the money supply is an excellent way to get society to implode on itself and get brother to shoot brother. Worked in the last civil war didn't it?

  • Eric is Jewish. He beLIEves Arabs did 911 attacks.

On getting our troops out, Little late Morgy!

Notice nothing is ever mentioned about

}sreal Firsters that need to be jailed. One sure cure--relocate }srael into Mexico. see how long they survive :^/

  • Yeah. And the 3 million wonderful people that illegally entered our country in the last five years didn't have any negative effect on the employment situation. It is our fault for not getting our ridiculous political and financial institutions under order, but the people that come in here illegally making a bad situation worse and the Canadian pussies to the north who sit on the sidelines and complain need to shut the hell up.

  • With all that money being spent on these two stupid wars, that could have been spent on better things to help Americans and to move through the 21th century, but this country rather want to hurt itself with these wars. America's worst enemy is America itself because of wealthy Corporate scums, corrupt politicians, and ignorant, "no action" Americans who are helping the wealthy corrupt high uppers destroy everything.

  • @Artist1974CH ditto!!! lets not forget the news media pretending its all normal!!

  • Chelsae Clinton and Jenna Bush could sell their ass to help reduce our national debt!

    It would be very patriotic!

  • The GOP & DNC DC mafia will fiddle as this Rome burns..

  • Global Anarchy? The Romans, Persians, and Soviets tried that line and world went on without them..........actually their fall caused more suffering because they sucked up the wealth from smaller communties. The world doesn't need superpowers....they make things worse!!!

  • You know, the media really needs to start reminding the masses of zombie fucks that the war, which they first strongly wanted, then strongly opposed, is -still- going on and WILL AFFECT THEIR WALLETS. I love how everyone shut up and thought Obama would fix things.

  • Best interview so far! ******/5.

  • wars is part of the economy, war got us this country, war got us to be the super power, war is great tool, war is really really cool, gotta support the war to keep america safe

  • you are nuts , a warmonger like you should be first to put his boots on the ground and sacrifice your life for "democracy"

  • 8 years of war cost $200 billion.

Obama pissd off $1.4 trillion his first year, putting the US closer to ruin.

  • Dude, it's 200+ billion a year. That's 1.6 trillion for what? Do you feel safer?

  • LOL wake the hell up kid. Never in 8 years did bush ask congress for $200billion for anyone of the two wars or even both put togather.

Since you wasn't watching last year when Obama sent to congress his needed budge for the afgan war alone was just over $200 billion.

and is asking for another $200 billin again this year.

  • Isn't it insane? I think it's all just a dog and pony show in DC. First it's the Republicans on the war wagon. Obama get's the helm and it was a 180 degree shift with the Dems screaming for war.. There is only one political party. The CORPORATE AMERICAN PARTY!

  • @DoomOricl3: I believe you meant to say "The Pledge of Allegiance" not the "National Anthem." Even so, it' begins "I pledge allegiance to the FLAG of the United States of America..."

  • Where is part 2?

  • America is dying slow LOL!

  • So why is the USA spending so much for defence? Because it's voluntary. Countries like Russia and China force young men to serve. Much cheaper.

  • The sick irony of the capitalist/imperialist system is that the more the US is weakened economically, the more it will seek to use its military strength to offset that weakness by plundering other nations.

International working class revolution is the only solution.

  • I agree. our military is used now to prop up the dollar as it is only backed by military power and control of oil, the real gold standard now.

  • @Congest: No surprise as 25% of the US GDP is produced by military-related production and businesses.

  • REVOLT!

  • Solid interview.

  • Brezinski is a snake. Of course, from the US point of view, there would be "chaos" if the US weren't invading and occupying other countries. For the US, "chaos" means not controlling oil.

  • The American founding fathers knew that democracy is best when it is on the brink of chaos. We've seen the degradation of principles and low standards that arise out of affluence and disproportional security.

  • PLZ RECITE ME THE NATIONAL ANTHEM?? I PLEDGE ALLIEGANCE TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA & THE REPUBLIC FOR WHICH IT STANDS. (STOP!) precisely what the founding father's DID NOT want, was a democracy! (51% controls the other 49%) precisely why they established it as a REPUBLIC! (99% CANNOT CONTROL 1%). no wonder america is in the dire situation it is, its own freaking ppl have NO IDEA WTH their constitution means! ppl plz wake up & LEARN UR RIGHTS. Peace.

  • Um, the national anthem is "The Star Spangled Banner" not "the Pledge of Allegiance." Don't tell us to go relearn our history if you can't even get that basic fact right. Also yes it's true this country was established as a republic by rich white slave owning men who believed that only other rich white slave owning men should have a place in politics. Women had no place in this country except as the property, yes literally, of some man in their life. Founding Fathers are overrated.

  • you do leave out that in a republic it does offer the reality of 1% controlling 99% which is more like what we have had for over a century. we have lived under the thumb of a corpatist oligarchy for quite some time.

  • Yes, republican form of democracy.

Our 1st cousin 4 removed-- her 1st cousin wrote most of he final draft of the US Constitution; he was the "penman" and wrote the preamble "We the people..."

    Gouverneur Morris

He also wrote the New York Constitution and the French Constitution. 14 of my relatives were founding fathers. Some were slave owners, although their long-term philosophy was abolitionism, education, and individual freedom. Enjoy what you have been given.

  • @carefulcarpenter actually the founding fathers knew that democracy was terrible in the face of potential chaos, this is why they didn't want a democracy but a republic. just look at athens and the idiotic choices they made in the face of potential chaos and you will see why the founding fathers hated the notion of democracy.

  • Brezinski is from a polish monarch family that was deposed long ago... he is a power hungry imbecile who is dangerous to every man, woman, and child not just in America but in the world. He would love to see us fight China next, as he cant turn Russia on China as he turned the USSR upside down through Afghan/Russian war.

  • you're a fool, war is a necessary for the good of man. i would love a great war between china and usa. we need a great war for all of us to celebrate during the 4th of july. i am just sick and tire of world war ii stories already.

  • sign up bitch

  • @MrRightAllTime Well thats fucking clever isn't it? How the fuck is there going to be a war between two countries with huge nuclear arsenals that doesn't end in the extinction of the human race? There would be no 4th of july to celebrate you illiterate redneck fucktard.

  • well mr.. 4th of July is to celebrate independence, not a great war of this century.. a us china war would be nuclear in a matter of ??? We do not celebrate war on the 4th of July.

You are either an idiot, a shill, or mentally unstable, probably all three

  • America Should leave the Islamic countries alone and Ban any one entering into america and stop all AIDS... Just see what the self righteous turns into

  • The Koran says when you use your wealth to fight the Muslims your wealth will end up distroying you instead.

  • In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

    George Orwell

  • the first place to cut is welfare

  • @fliegeroh

    Thats a joke I hope...

  • Yes, cutting the corporate welfare such as bailouts to insurances companies and banking institutions would definitely be a good place to start.

  • China intends to take over this country don't they.

  • Maybe.

And if they do they are waiting for us to be totally bankrupt bowing down to the interests of the military industrial complex.

It's so fucking obvious. We watched it happen to USSR in Afghanistan and barry the shoe shine boy sell out to corporate powers plans on taking us full speed ahead into the iceberg.

Damn I despise him at this point as badly as I did dumbo george the texas cheerleader.

Barry is nothing but a black bush.

  • @WhirlingWolves

sadly I find myself agreeing with you.

Obama is the biggest hypocrite in all this. He claims to "fight special interests" yet is owned by them.

Now we are going the way of the Soviets, getting bogged down in Central Asian "nation-building" while the country goes further and further into debt.

Obama is a nicer sounding, nicer looking, version of Bush who is carrying out almost all of his policies.

China, Iran and Russia will be the big winners from the collapse of the US

  • When the British called time on the Empire, a million Indians died in the redistribution of the Indian population into India and Pakistan. The destruction of Rhodesia was the entré to the destruction of Zimbabwe, Kenya has descended into chaos and murder, etc. So the US is right to maintain that its withdrawal from the Grand Chessboard would be global disorder. Those who argue to the contrary need to take matters a lot more seriously. And Pakistan has wilfully made its own mess, over decades.

  • So let me get this straight since you are soooo much smarter than everyone.

This "Grand Chessboard" is something I and my children and my grandchildren have to be shackled with forever right?

This game just HAS to be played even when we are in debt and should'nt be at the table anymore right?

Not EVER can we return to the common sense wisdom of minding our own damn business right?

Make no alliances but trade with everyone is insanity?! Because of the ensuing "global disorder" yes?

  • @WhirlingWolves

The US is selling it soul to military "contractors", sending its children back in body bags and digging itself deeper into debt because of years of occupation.

Funny how the same people like Haqqani and Bin Laden who were called "freedom fighters" by Reagan become the "terrorists" of the 90's and 2000's!!!

Sadaam was such a "little Hitler" that we gave him weapons (even chemical weapons) and cash.

A "freedom fighter" can turn into a "terrorist" pretty quick it seems

  • The vast majority of the Reagan-era terrorists are as dead as Saddam. Their contemporary counterparts are simply the terrorists that would have existed anyway. The radical Islamic terrorism of today are just a contemporary development of the Barbary Pirates and those led by the likes of Amin Al-Huesseni, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, in WW2.

  • Haqqani, Bin Laden are still alive.

The infrastructure including the CIA funded "Madrassas" still train religious extremists to kill.

Either way, its a case of "freedom fighters" becoming "terrorists" in 20 odd years. Maybe giving weapons to people like Saddam wasn't a good idea?

"simply the terrorists who would have existed anyway" well when you have the illegal occupations of Muslim countries, the deliberate torture of Muslims by the US perhaps there wouldn't be so much anti-US terrorism?

  • The majority, as in the foot soldiers, is not comprised of Haqqani and Bin Laden. Saudi Arabia funds the Madrassas, on the premise that an educated terrorist, is a more effective terrorist. The world is full of bad ideas, but Saddam would have gotten all the weapons he wanted off the Russians and/or Chinese, and we had billions of dollars of interests to protect, over decades: pension and social security funds, including your own, primarily. Muslims are pushing their luck.

  • This is the price for democracy and the reluctance of US voters to rein in the government that enabled them to enjoy a high standard of living on the labour of 40 hours a week, until 2008. To return to the myth of a standard of common sense and wisdom that neither I, nor you has ever known, is as improbable as adherence to the principle of no entangling alliances and free trade, which was more likely in 1770, but unacceptable for those wanting to live beyond an average age of 35, in 2010.

  • So what is the endgame of this "Grand Chessboard" match you would have us believe in?

    Where does it end?

Should'nt we just take over the whole world to secure ourselves against any possible "global disorder"?

Is that what you really believe but can't bring yourself to say out loud?

I think so but you won't even be honest about your intentions.

And yes I will proudly teach my children the common sense wisdom of nonintervention so they don't end up slaves to military industrial complex.

  • @WhirlingWolves

the real entitlements are the no bid billion+ dollar contracts to military contractors.

But Medicare for the old, Welfare/Medicaid for the poor are always called "entitlements".

Once again, subscribe to conventional wisdom (Democrat and Republican) that "entitlements" like Medicare are costing too much while spending trillions of dollars on never ending and fundamentally counterproductive war is good!

  • On both counts, if only it were that simple.

  • Duhhhhhhh!!!! WTF.... of course it is ruining not only america, but many other nations. We want to fix crap, start thinking different.....start thinking like human beings....assholes...

  • @ceomeye

It boils down to sheer arrogance.

"We are America, so do as we say, not as we do!"

  • @charlessmyth

isn't it exactly the intervention of foreign powers that set up the colonial structures?!?

"Pakistan has willfully made its own mess"

    so propping up dictators (Musharraf)

spending billions on militant train camps ("freedom fighters")

    etc.

    means nothing?

Way to blame the victims while totally ignoring/supporting the occupations

  • The colonial structures were very limited in their scope. The British Empire was only possible to extent that it was because Britain controlled the Indian Ocean rim, with its Navy, and the other European powers and Russia, could not march armies across the deserts of North Africa, Iran and/or Central Asia to attack key positions secured by the British army. The British considered Afghanistan to be nothing more than a buffer zone, its loyalty secured by paying huge bribes to the King in Kabul.

  • @charlessmyth

What about in Rwanda where the Belgians created a landowning (Tutsi) class and a laborer (Hutu) class?

What about that whole slave trade? What about that whole opium trade? Where you have colonial powers engaged in activities that are banned in the home countries! "Do as we say, not as we do" once again.

Britain was better than most colonial powers, I grant you that. But you could look at the Irish experience...

Its hard to defend colonialism as more than "might makes right"

  • The Irish experience was borne out of Spain and France using Ireland as a staging post to attack England, to reestablish the authority of the Roman Catholic, in England. Under British rule, in comparison to the status quo ante of tribal rule and conflict, the Irish population tripled. But because of competing imperial interests and poor judgements, the potato famine was catastrophic. And when cotton imports failed because of the American civil war, it was no fun in Leeds and Bradford, either.

  • thx mr. jay

  • 8 minutes and 47 seconds and not one mention of the heroin????.......look in through the spin and ask yourself why the US is in Afghanistan.......

  • "it was against the Soviets and now it's against the Muslims" says the guy, like he actually believes the propaganda at face value!?!?!?!?!??!?

  • Brilliant piece. Astounding that the U.S. populace is blinded from forcing through better public services (health care, welfare, education, transit) while billions are being blown. I also like the Skype-type sound at 7:15 hehe

  • US started wars with no clear strategy/plans, now its biting them in the ass....the TRILLIONS of debt is just CRAZY :/

  • We have to fight wars because Halliburton would go bankrupt! Geez what's wrong with these pseudo intellectuals.

  • unfortunately nobody is talking about this and i really frustrates me. the US is broke and is spending money like there is no tomorrow on WARS, when will it end? my guess is never, or until the day the backbone of country is snapped in half and there is revolution

  • I dont know about you USA guys in the cold war, but us here in Eastern Europe didnt enjoy ourselves that much. I agree on the part that world government doesnt really mean one world true unity.

  • "Secret Black Programs:$70 billions" May be I need to work on a Secret Black Program proposal! Any experts out there on this?

  • Gosh people the above is just sarcasm!

  • Holy fuck, what a waste of money, hope you people help yourselfs enough to survive the next few years.

    Pc.

  • amerika will soon be bankrupt and will lose their reserve currency status.. after that, total implosion..

  • Plenty of money out there for the war industry. People take to the streets to protest health care spending.

Americans are just not very bright.

  • The Pentagon's enemy is the Human Race. They are actively at war with all people of the planet. This will soon be evident as we head toward 2012 . It will be a time of great change .

  • @ahblisschris It's been predicted that radical change will cause, by 2012, for there to be over 50% positive interactions between peoples on this world.. from there will snowball

  • President and former General Dwight D. Eisenhower warned us of the power of the Industrial Military Complex but we didn't heed the warning.

  • Islam is too often expansionist (so is christianity...) but islam's time has past. It saved a lot of lives against enemies hundreds of yrs ago but it has to be eradicated, or adjusted, now. If that mindset gets ahold of nukes we'll all be threatened. People who are whacked on opium and have only one book to read, if they can read at all, need to have their thinking realigned with the present. Doing nothing will lead to consequenses way worse than having your house repossessed

  • I love Margolis. this man speaks in an intelligent yet very accessible manner.

  • Isn't the DoD budget only 4.7% of GDP? I don't disagree with the guest though.

  • whenever people point out the stupidity of the US Military and its budget, there are always people who say, " but its only a tiny % of our GDP."

they say this to support the US military and its waste of the peoples money.

but if you look closer, the % of GDP used by the US military has NOTHING to do with the problem of a way over-budgeted invading force of sociopaths.

focus on the OVER 50% of our yearly discretionary tax budget, our money, that goes to US military dumbasses, EVERY YEAR.

  • to Africa the Africans only give them science and power to manipulate nature

  • leave the middle east and africa to china

  • I love how they are spending $70 Billion on "secret black programs". And people wonder why there are so many conspiracy theories out there.

I guess we won't find out what that $70 Billion went toward until we're all moved into FEMA camps to be fed to our reptilian overlords from Nibiru.

  • Most americans dont have a clue to their true "state of the union" , and whats really sad is that We will have to be a part of a union with them. BOOOOOOO USA. Booooo North American Union.

  • @06zx10rninja

    why booo N.A.U.?

  • @Takua38000 Booo NAU because we dont need America...they got themselves where they are...

  • @06zx10rninja AMEN

  • I think the corrupt to big to fails has played a big part......its always the banks...dont fool yourselves.

wit that said...the wars need to be ended...

  • He's pretty much stating the obvious at this point isn't it?

I think what was done to the USSR is now being done to America in order to destroy it.

  • very insightful. right now i think it would be nice if there maybe 5 united states below canada instead of one. i would hope this would be better for all.

  • @MustacheVerra lol good we deserve it :)

  • I agree with your statement and I've heard Chalmers Johnson say similar stuff. Do you have any references that cover the USSR's "military industrial complex" like US's have been covered?

  • Zimbabwe makes a 100 Trillion dollar note

The only difference between the Zimbabwe dollar and the US Federal Reserve Note is the numbers on the pieces of paper and the Fed note is world reserve.

Not one fiat currency has survived the government counterfeiting it into oblivion.

No sound money world wide since 1971 so now the global economy will implode as planned.

  • Team America: World Police.

Just what we need, a fat bankrupt christian conservative chinese owned cartoon nation to stick up for the little guys. Hilarious

  • F*** Yeah!

  • America...fuck yeah!

  • @MilesB1975 Barack Obama: Save the Empire!

  • All of this because of one stolen election. I am no huge fan of Al Gore, but ANYONE would have been better than Bush on 9/11/2001. Perhaps anyone other than that nit wit would have acted on the intelligence reports indicating quite strongly that something was going to happen that day. But we will never know, will we. We are now stuck in two finger traps and we just keep tugging away.

  • @MrTearsintherain

Al Gore may have done the same thing just under a different guise.

  • @Hierophant2 Hmmmm, maybe so maybe so, one never knows till the test is run. But there was an initial arrogance to Bush that seems to have been forgotten. The man bluntly stated early on in his initial 100 days that he had no interest in the Middle East and all of their issues, he was determined, in his words, to repair all of the domestic damage that Clinton's love life had caused. That really turned out well, didn't it?

  • Highly unlikely. Cheney and Bush had designs on Iraq from before they were appointed the winners of the 2000 election; they were looking for an excuse to take over the country from the first day in office. 9/11 just provided them with the cover they needed.

  • @Z200a Congress did - America was intervening for decades... It didn't start with Bush and Cheney

  • Clinton's gov. had a plan for Iraqi regime change, I read the other day, interestingly...where did I read that? Can't remember. Think it was reliable source! :)

  • i thought they went into iraq for WMDs which had nothing to do with 9/11?

  • They had designs, militarily, if the opportunity presented itself to appropriate all of Iraq's oil wealth. Bush had no interest in the peace process for that region though. He desired a stewing cauldron. Too bad it boiled over into all of our laps.

  • Hierophant2 : If you believe that they all would have done the same thing, then why did not Clinton do it? Clinton could have invaded these countries.

  • @klard Clinton was implementing his own bombing campaigns - you don't need to put troops on the ground to wreak havoc - besides, haven't you heard of the Iraq Liberation Act of 1998? Remember Somalia, Kosovo/Serbia etc?

  • thisisbunk : Sure he was. But it is different than an all out invasion and war like Bush started. My point was that Gore would have proceeded differently. I cited the Clinton as evidence that not all Presidents are predestined to approach the matter in exactly the same way. Why do you think there was such a desperation on the part of these elites to get Bush elected over AL Gore.

  • @klard

Maybe it wasn't the time to do so.

  • Well said.
